The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 200: Chapter 200: Did You Insert This Silver Needle?_1

The woman who was shouting was the same one who had mocked Carson Flores before. Her boyfriend, the elderly man around sixty years of age, was now lying on the ground, his eyes tightly closed, unconscious.

”Somebody help, is there anyone here?”

The young woman was carrying several shopping bags from the LV store, looking frantic as she called out to those around her.

”I’ll go have a look.”

Although Carson had a very poor impression of the young woman, he couldn’t bring himself to stand by and do nothing.

Carson hurried over, knelt down to check the elderly man’s condition, and asked, ”What happened to him?”

The young woman answered in a panic, ”He tripped while walking, fell down, and then he became like this.”

Carson lifted the elderly man’s hand and pressed a few acupoints, then looked up and shouted, ”Mary, go to the car and get the Silver Needles, they’re in the glove compartment.”

”Okay!”

Shirley Miller quickly brought the Silver Needles, and Carson took them, instructing, ”Call an ambulance.”

Carson opened up the elderly man’s clothes, took out the Silver Needles, and inserted them quickly into the man’s body like a whirlwind. He then circulated his Inner Qi, guiding it into the body to promote blood flow through the palace.

After a while, the elderly man, who had been pale and had his eyes tightly shut, groaned. Color gradually returned to his face, and his body relaxed from its previously taut state.

After making the call, Shirley watched Carson save the man, curiosity in her eyes. This was, after all, the first time Shirley had seen Carson perform medical treatment to save someone.

Carson had said that he was very good at medicine, and that the fees he charged for consulting could easily buy a car, but Shirley had no concept of how skilled he actually was.

After Carson had finished with the emergency aid, Shirley asked, ”How is it?”

”He’s come around, won’t die for now, but his condition is quite serious.”

Carson replied, turning his head to stare at the young woman, ”Falling isn’t the cause of his condition, it’s more likely that it was an acute attack of anger. Was he angry just now?”

The young woman’s face showed panic as she said, ”Just now he was scolding me, we had a little argument, and he got very angry... Could he die?”

Carson glanced at the young woman, ”No, but there’s a high chance he’ll end up in a vegetative state.”

”Ah!”

The young woman became frantic, fear written all over her face, ”Mister, are you serious?”

Carson hummed in acknowledgment, ”If I hadn’t intervened just now, he’d probably be dead by now. The situation has improved, he won’t die, but it’s going to be difficult for him to wake up...”

The young woman, pale as a ghost, pleaded, ”Mister, your medical skills are so amazing, please save him, don’t let anything happen to him.”

Shirley comforted her, ”Don’t worry, maybe the situation is better than we think...”

Before Shirley could finish speaking, the young woman suddenly knelt down before Carson, bursting into tears, ”Mister, please save him. If he becomes a vegetative person, I won’t be able to live either. His family will surely kill me.”

Carson looked slightly surprised, ”Isn’t he your boyfriend?”

With tears streaming down her face, the young woman rambled on, ”I’m just the little starlet he’s been pushing recently. For him, I’m just for fun, he for my looks, and I for his money and power. It was just us two that came out together, no one else. If something happens to him, his family will definitely blame me; they will kill me!”

Carson replied calmly, ”I’m just a penniless young guy; I don’t have that much capability.”

Upon hearing this, the young woman began to kowtow to Carson, sobbing and begging, ”I was wrong just now, it was my foul mouth, I deserve to die. You can slap me to vent your anger, but please, you must save him. If he doesn’t wake up, I really will die. I don’t want to die...”

The young woman’s complexion was deathly pale, her forehead quickly swelling from continuous kowtowing, but she dared not stop.

Seeing that the young woman had kowtowed several times, Carson finally said, ”Alright, I’ll follow to the hospital and try to save him.”

The young woman’s beautiful face was smeared with makeup, her eyes lighting up with surprise, ”Thank you, mister. As long as you save him, I will compensate you handsomely.”

Carson smiled, ”Okay, I’ll earn this money.”

The ambulance hadn’t arrived yet when a black sedan came speeding in. A man around thirty-six or thirty-seven years old got out of the car, followed by two burly bodyguards.

The man approached the elderly man on the ground with a grim face, checked his neck, then turned his gaze to the woman, ”Zara Stein, what happened to my dad?”

Zara Stein replied with a fearful look, ”He just fell while walking, it has nothing to do with me.”

The man’s gaze swept over the Silver Needles on the old man’s body and then shifted to Carson, ”Did you insert these Silver Needles?”
