The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 180: Chapter 180 What Should I Do If You Fall for My Sister?_1

”We were supposed to have dinner together today, but something came up. We’ll have a chance to eat together another day.”

Samantha Tate was getting better and better at telling lies, and at this moment, she had completely let go of her worries.

Shirley Miller didn’t get a clear look at Carson Flores!

Of course, even if she did, it’s unlikely she would recognize him as an employee of her company.

As the company CEO, with so many people in the company, how could she remember a minor employee she’s never interacted with?

”Alright, I’ll treat you guys to dinner then.”

Shirley Miller decisively agreed, ”I want to see who this remarkable person is that could move your mortal heart.”

”Sure!”

Samantha Tate readily agreed, as for the future, heh, she could just find some excuse to refuse.

How could she possibly let Carson Flores and Shirley Miller meet?

Although she and Carson Flores were pretty much confirmed to be in a relationship now, she still didn’t want to expose it, after all, Carson Flores was a married man now!

If her sister found out about this, wouldn’t she be scolded to death?

After hanging up the phone, Samantha Tate breathed a sigh of relief and turned to glance at Carson Flores, ”Brother, you’re not mad, are you?”

Carson Flores laughed, ”What would I be mad about?”

Samantha Tate whispered, ”I’m not introducing you to her.”

I should be thanking you!

If you really did introduce us, it would be a candle burning at both ends for me.

Carson Flores shook his head, ”Why would I be? We’ll have plenty of opportunities in the future, and besides, now’s not the right time.”

Samantha Tate completely relaxed, ”Yeah, that’s what I thought too. After all, you’re still betrothed, and if my sister found out, she would definitely scold me. Besides, you’re so outstanding and always under her watchful eye... I don’t feel secure about that.”

Carson Flores’s eyes widened, ”What don’t you feel secure about?”

Samantha Tate pouted, ”My sister is even prettier, more capable, and more charming than I am. What if you fall for her one day, what would I do then?”

For a moment, Carson Flores didn’t know what to say and blurted out something unplanned, ”Right, men are fickle. If you did fall for your sister, you’d cry to death.”

Samantha Tate slapped Carson Flores lightly and huffed, ”You wish. Even if you fell for my sister, she wouldn’t fall for you.”

Carson Flores asked curiously, ”Why not, I think I’m quite outstanding.”

Samantha Tate replied with a giggly smile, ”My sister adores me. No matter how outstanding you are, since you’re my boyfriend, she wouldn’t fall for you. She’d keep her distance and, furthermore, my sister’s whole heart is invested in the company. She’s got no interest in romance. So, stop daydreaming.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”I’m not daydreaming. I haven’t said a word from beginning to end. Besides, if you’re so sure she wouldn’t go for me, what are you worried about?”

Samantha Tate rolled her eyes at Carson Flores, ”Don’t think I don’t know you men. Always looking for the next best thing. Even if she doesn’t like you, if you start liking her, that’d be terrible for me.”

Carson Flores was left speechless; alright, there was no arguing with that.

”That makes sense, but I have to argue one point. Your sister probably beats you by far in company management skills, but when it comes to a woman’s charm, you’re not one bit inferior to her—in fact, you might even surpass her.”

Samantha Tate stared at Carson Flores with surprise, ”Are you serious? She’s my sister, you don’t have to flatter me.”

Carson Flores explained with a smile, ”I’m not commenting on your looks. After all, you two look so similar, and both have great figures. It’s just that your sister’s temperament is too aloof, emitting a chilly aura that pushes people away. You, on the other hand, know how to showcase your beauty in a more compelling way, more likely to attract a man’s affection.”

”Uh-huh, to me, it feels like you sisters are like ice and fire. Your sister is ice, and you’re fire, like two extremes: one cold as ice, one warm as fire. Even without considering any romantic feelings, most people would prefer to interact with someone as passionate as you.”

Samantha Tate was very happy. After all, Shirley Miller was like a goddess in her eyes, someone her younger self could not compare with. And now Carson Flores was telling her that she had her own unique charm.

How could heartfelt praise from the one she cherished not fill her with joy?

Carson Flores played with his phone for a while, sent a few messages, and then put it away.

In the western-style restaurant, Samantha Tate attracted the awe-filled gazes of many diners, while Carson Flores garnered a heap of envy and jealousy.

”You’re too wicked, dressing up in a gown and looking so radiant while I’m just in a T-shirt and jeans, suffering from the comparison.”

Samantha Tate laughed, ”Don’t mind their stares. Even without dressing up, you’re the handsomest in my eyes!”

Carson Flores was amused, ”You lecherous woman, keep dreaming!”

”Ding!”

The red wine shimmered in the glass under the lighting, casting an intoxicating glow.

Samantha Tate gazed at Carson Flores with deep affection, ”Brother, today is the first time you’re with me for my birthday. I hope that for every year from now, on this day, you can be with me, just like today.”

The beauty’s deep love was like rich wine, intoxicating the heart.

Carson Flores clinked glasses with Samantha Tate and smiled, ”Of course!”
