The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 183: Chapter 183: This Slap on the Face Really Burns..._1

Oscar Miller stood at the entrance of the villa’s grand hall with his arms folded, watching the constantly dodging Carson Flores with a smile on his face and an air of confidence.

He had faith in Wesley Roth’s strength!

Had it not been for Wesley Roth’s formidable power, how could he have been appointed as his personal butler, charged with his safety?

As the future heir of the Miller Family, it was natural for him to be well protected to avoid being eliminated by potential enemies.

Oscar’s eyes brightened as he saw Carson Flores finally unable to dodge and getting hit by Wesley Roth’s punch.

Carson’s body was sent flying backward, heading towards Oscar Miller.

Witnessing this scene, Oscar Miller stepped forward with glee, throwing a clean and precise punch aimed at Carson’s unprotected back.

Oscar despised Carson to the extreme, and if not for his wariness of Carson’s strength, he would have preferred to deal with him personally. Now, with such a perfect opportunity to strike, how could Oscar resist?

Oscar’s fist hit Carson’s back without any hindrance, but at the same time, he heard Wesley Roth’s urgent shout.

”Young master, be careful.”

Careful of what?

A surge of intense pain from his fist made Oscar’s heart sink.

It was as if he had hit a solid iron wall!

The next second, using the momentum from Oscar’s punch, Carson halted his backward flight, touched the ground with his toes, and spun gracefully in mid-air, changing from facing away to facing Oscar, with eagle-like eyes locking onto Oscar Miller.

Seeing those cold eyes tinged with mockery, Oscar’s heart felt as if it had plunged into an icy abyss.

A trap!

Carson had intentionally let himself be sent flying by Wesley Roth, deliberately exposing his unguarded back, enticing him to attack!

The direct result was that Oscar had moved away from Samantha Tate, and now Carson was just a step away!

With the momentum still not completely gone, Carson lunged towards Oscar, unstoppable like a tiger leaping out of the mountains.

As Oscar was about to fall into Carson’s hands, his face turned a sudden red, his body sliding backward while his arms tried to block the direction of Carson’s attack.

Carson didn’t insist on continuing his assault, changing his grab into a slap, landing a palm strike onto Oscar’s raised arms.

”Crack!”

Oscar’s left arm broke without any surprise, and he was sent flying backward, crashing into the doors of the hall with a muffled thud.

The wooden door caved in instantly, cracking widely, while the engraved glass shattered into countless pieces.

Carson did not pursue, but instead stepped to one side, positioning himself in front of Samantha Tate.

Samantha’s eyes were sparkling, filled with excitement and thrill, but devoid of any fear.

From the moment Carson calmly got into the car at the hotel entrance, Samantha had believed that Carson would be able to resolve the predicament of the night.

In Samantha’s heart, there was nothing too challenging for Carson.

She knew that Carson’s strength wasn’t the strongest among cultivators, but she chose to blindly trust him.

Wesley Roth rushed forward, his face no longer showing the confidence he had before, only coldness and a furious embarrassment.

In front of Oscar, he had boasted that he could easily take down Carson, but now in their very first encounter, not only had he failed to harm Carson, he had fallen into the trap and injured Oscar, a merciless slap to his own face.

”Trying to act like a real master, huh? Keep it up if you can!”

These were the words Carson had previously said to Wesley, and now they just made Wesley’s face hurt.

A burning pain.

Carson did not retreat because his back was to Samantha Tate.

He had gone to great lengths to extricate Samantha from danger, how could he possibly let her fall back into the enemy’s hands?

Besides, did he need to retreat?

Wesley Roth launched a punch with all his might, thunderous in its power.

He could see that Carson didn’t dare dodge because if he did, Wesley’s punch could potentially kill Samantha Tate in the process.

Wesley might not necessarily kill Samantha, but Carson certainly wouldn’t take the gamble.

Without dodging, there was only one option left: to take it head-on!

Carson didn’t dodge either, throwing out his punch as well.

At their level of strength, every move contained tremendous destructive power, and a strike to any part of the body would cause significant damage.

Their fists collided mid-air, Inner Qi clashing, producing a faint ”pop” sound.

Carson took half a step back, but Wesley Roth stumbled three steps backward, his face instantly flushing red.

Wesley’s expression was one of shock and disbelief.

How could this be!

His full-force strike had been repelled head-on by Carson!

Carson’s strength was even greater than his!

Carson looked at Wesley Roth with an easy demeanor, ”Is that all?”

Wesley, whose face had gone from red to an even deeper shade, felt humiliated by a young man in his twenties.

”Die!”

Wesley’s eyes were bloodshot as he charged at Carson once again.

Carson didn’t evade; he met the charge head-on.

The two figures clashed together, the fight fierce and the commotion alarming.

”Bang!”

In just a few blinks of an eye, amid the dull sound, Wesley Roth was sent flying backward, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, letting out a horrified cry, ”Gang Qi shield! You’ve actually cultivated Gang Qi?”
