The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 155: Chapter 155: Strike to Kill in One Go!_1

Boston Browning lay on the bed and picked up the phone to call Cannon Browning.

”Is it done?”

Panting, Cannon Browning said, ”Something went wrong. The man with Shirley Miller is a master. In a matter of seconds, all five of us were incapacitated, two dead, and he shot my knee to pieces. I think my leg is done for...”

Boston Browning’s lazy expression suddenly stiffened, and he sat up abruptly, ”What’s the situation now?”

”He guessed our identity, and I had no choice but to reveal myself too. He found out you were involved after he questioned us, then he left with Shirley Miller. We’re now heading to the hospital.”

Disbelief spread across Boston Browning’s face, ”Didn’t you all have guns? And you’re a Cultivator. You couldn’t handle just one man?”

Seething, Cannon Browning replied, ”Who provided the information? He’s definitely a Cultivator, and a strong one at that. He kicked me so hard I flew into a brick wall and collapsed it. Could an ordinary person do that?”

Boston Browning’s heart sank suddenly, ”Go to the hospital first. I’ll come to see you later.”

After hanging up the phone, Boston Browning’s look was uneasy.

Shirley Miller’s husband turned out to be a powerful Cultivator?

Wasn’t he said to be just a retired soldier?

Cultivators don’t just appear out of nowhere; besides one’s natural talent, there’s a need for heritage. Being so young and yet so strong, it mostly suggests that he might have a powerful Cultivator as a master or even a Sect behind him!

This is troublesome!

Boston Browning dialed the Family Head of the Browning Family, Boston’s phone.

”Big brother, there’s been an incident...”

After listening to Boston Browning, Boston said in a steady voice, ”Hasn’t he kept his background a secret? This indicates that the matter isn’t so grave; otherwise, upon recognizing a Browning, he would have simply revealed his name and settled the matter peacefully. Why would there have been a need to fight to the death?”

Boston Browning frowned, ”But it’s also possible that he comes from an extraordinary background and didn’t regard the Browning Family highly, hence he didn’t bother revealing his name and just incapacitated Cannon Browning...”

Boston laughed, ”If it were you, and you had incapacitated Cannon Browning, could it be seen as venting your anger? After cooling off, wouldn’t you then reveal your background?”

Boston Browning thought about it and realized the logic, incapacitating Cannon Browning was because he acted against them. But by doing so, he also made a deadly enemy of the Browning Family. Logically speaking, as a young man on Polgel territory, even if a strong dragon, he should give face to the local snakes, right?

Once the matter was settled, the anger released, and face maintained, why not then reveal one’s identity and sit down to talk things over? Wouldn’t that have settled the issue?

Not revealing his identity and not calling the Browning Family probably meant he either had no significant background or one that couldn’t suppress the Browning Family, so he simply chose silence.

Boston Browning asked, ”So, what should we do?”

Boston coldly laughed, ”He incapacitated Cannon Browning, and of course, we can’t let this go. This time, in dealing with the Howell Family, I asked Jamie Webb for assistance to deal with that wretched Lydia Howell and, incidentally, take care of Shirley Miller and her husband. Even if that kid has any significant background, with Jamie Webb stepping in, are we afraid we can’t handle him?”

Boston Browning asked excitedly, ”The Jamie Webb of the Qinling Webb Family?”

”That’s right. Jamie Webb loves money and women. I spent twenty million to ask him to take action. This time, I want to lay the Howell Family flat, utterly annihilate them!”

Boston Browning immediately laughed, ”Although Jamie Webb’s reputation is somewhat tarnished, his strength is indeed formidable. With him involved, Lydia Howell is certainly doomed. When are we making a move?”

Boston laughed, ”Over the years, Jamie Webb has offended many, but he’s still doing quite well, which speaks to his strength. Jamie Webb will arrive by noon tomorrow. I’ve already arranged a meeting with Julia Howell for tomorrow evening to settle the grudge against my son.”

Boston Browning’s eyes lit up, ”Big brother, are you planning a surprise attack?”

Boston nodded, ”Although the Howell Family is weakened, Lydia Howell is quite formidable. We, the Brownings, can’t suppress them, so I’m going to use this opportunity to make them think we are resolving the dispute of my son being beaten. In reality, it’s a gathering of the Browning elite to kill Lydia Howell on the spot, incapacitate the other Cultivators of the Howell Family, and cut their roots.”

Boston Browning laughed heartily, ”The Howell Family has been monopolizing the battlefield business for years, making them despised by many. As soon as the Howell Family loses their Cultivators, we won’t even need to act; others will probably strike at them, completely shattering the Howell Family so they disappear from Polgel forever!”

Boston said coldly, ”If we’re going to act, then we must go all out and not give them any chance to fight back!”

Boston Browning nodded, ”Then I won’t make a move here first. Let’s deal with the Howell Family first, then take care of Shirley Miller and that kid.”

”Right!”

Boston agreed, ”No rush. Eliminating Shirley Miller and earning the favor of the Miller Family is important, but Polgel is our base. Tomorrow night’s annihilation of the Howell Family must succeed at all costs!”
