34: Chapter 34 Scared to Pee Your Pants?_1 34: Chapter 34 Scared to Pee Your Pants?_1 Carson Flores turned his head and saw Darian Marshman using his left hand to resist the neck of a wild wolf, his dagger piercing the wolf’s neck.

Meanwhile, another wolf took the opportunity to bite Darian’s leg, and yet another slipped into their midst, soundlessly lunging straight for Darian’s throat.

Darian saw the wolf, black as lightning, pouncing towards him and his mind gave a sharp jolt.

It’s over!

The wolf opened its jaws, ready to clamp down on Darian’s neck, when a streak of white light flashed before his eyes, striking the wolf’s eye and harshly penetrating it.

The wolf’s head tilted, its gaping mouth grazing past Darian’s neck and its body collapsing heavily to the ground, twitching, unable to stand again.

Carson quickly ran over, his foot striking like lightning against the back of the wolf biting Darian’s leg, sending it flying two or three meters before it smashed to the ground, its body twisting helplessly, unable to rise again.

Carson’s kick had broken the wolf’s spine.

Darian, having narrowly escaped death, let out a breath of relief, mustered his strength, pushed the corpse of the wolf with the pierced neck off himself, and plopped down on the ground, gasping heavily.

Carson approached, stepped on the carcass of the wolf beside him, and pulled out the skewer stuck in its eye.

Only then did Darian realize, belatedly, that the flash of white light had been Carson’s thrown skewer.

Darian’s expression grew complex; he knew clearly, had Carson not acted, if the wolf’s bite had torn into his neck, severing the artery, out here in the wild, he would have been a goner.

Carson had saved his life!

Without saying much, Carson kicked the crossbow back towards him, then turned and walked towards the Wolf King again.

The remaining wolves, seemingly scared by Carson’s warrior-like slaughter, tucked their tails, watching Carson as if facing a mighty adversary, their low growls persisting, but fear was now evident in their eyes.

Carson simply walked forward, and the wolves dared not attack once more.

With every step Carson took, they retreated!

Carson quickened his pace, holding the skewer in both hands, like a top assassin wielding twin blades cutting through enemy lines!

The muscular Wolf King, without hesitation, turned and ran, almost disappearing completely into the dark jungle, when Carson flung out his right hand and the skewer, like the Flying Dagger, instantly covered the distance between them, piercing straight into the back of the Wolf King’s neck.

The Wolf King staggered and fell to the ground, struggling to stand, but before it could get up, Carson was already upon it.

The skewer flashed coldly, stabbing into the Wolf King’s eye and piercing through its skull in an instant.

The Wolf King’s body went limp, and as the surrounding wolves witnessed this scene, they fled in terror, their tails between their legs, disappearing quickly into the dark forest.

Carson pulled out the skewer, dragged the Wolf King by its tail, and brought it back, tossing it casually on the ground, his gaze sweeping over the others: “Is everyone alright?”

Carson, shirtless, was covered in blood.

His flesh, streaked with blood and scars, did not seem disheveled; on the contrary, it radiated a virile charm that women could not look away from.

Everyone stared at Carson with shock, disbelief in their eyes!

It was too shocking!

Carson, fighting the pack of wolves alone, had killed with every move, his precision with the thrown skewer making it seem like a scene from a martial arts epic.

The kind of scene only witnessed in movies was unfolding before their eyes; against the backdrop of blood and the fight for survival, the reality was even more stirring.

“Carson!”

Samantha Tate, seeing the blood-soaked Carson, suddenly felt her eyes redden.

She ran over to him, looking over his upper body with concern: “Are you hurt?”

Carson smiled: “I’m fine, don’t worry.”

Samantha widened her eyes: “These scars…”

Carson casually wiped the fresh blood from a scar, explaining: “These scars are from old wounds.

I just got scratched a couple of times just now, but I’m tough, it’s nothing.”

Old wounds?

How severe must the injuries have been to leave such large and deep scars?

Samantha was shocked but finally relaxed, knowing Carson wasn’t hurt: “I saw a wolf bite your shoulder from behind…”

Carson turned his shoulder, showing several red marks, but no broken skin or bleeding.

“See, I’m fine.

It must have bitten my clothes.

When I pulled away, it tore them.”

Samantha looked puzzled.

She was sure the wolf had bitten down on his shoulder.

How come there were only a few red marks, no injuries?

Could she have seen it wrong?

But…

it’s good that he’s alright!

In the moment, Samantha didn’t know what else to say, so she just bit her lip and gazed at Carson, her eyes full of an affection that could make any man’s heart melt.

Carson cleared his throat: “I’m going to check on Darian, he got bitten.”

The others instinctively followed Carson, then saw Darian’s bloodied lower leg, and they all felt a chilling afterthought of fear, their gratitude towards Carson growing even further.

Ruby Gross glanced back at Ethan, lying collapsed on the ground, and suddenly, her eyes widened in surprise and bewilderment: “Ethan, why are your pants wet…

did you get so scared that you wet yourself?”
