All the adults present immediately grasped Carson Flores’s meaning.

Ethan, so young, and already not up to par?

Samantha Tate’s beautiful eyes suddenly widened, the Bagua (Trigram) of gossip burning brightly within them, her expression one of eagerness to witness the drama unfold.

This was too explosive, wasn’t it?

Haven’t Carson Flores taken Ethan’s pulse?

Just by looking, he could tell Ethan was not up to par?

Really or just bluffing?

Ethan too understood, his face instantly turning red, his eyes flashing with an irrepressible panic, “Nonsense!”

Carson Flores smirked slightly, “There’s a faint scar on your chin, shaped like a plum blossom, though not very obvious, but upon close inspection, it’s noticeable.

This is one of the symptoms of venereal disease, which is transmitted through sexual contact, as everyone surely knows…”

Venereal disease!

Everyone’s gaze focused on Ethan’s chin, and upon careful observation, they indeed saw a light plum blossom-shaped scar.

Emma White’s smile faded a bit, her eyes upon Ethan now carrying a hint of displeasure, Adan Gilliam furrowed his brow in silence, while Samantha Tate pursed her lips, her eyes filled with obvious scorn.

They weren’t doctors, but they knew that the chances of a normal person contracting venereal disease were extremely low; those who did usually contracted it through promiscuous sexual relations.

Ethan, his eyes filled with panic, scrambled to explain, “This is from a past allergic reaction on my skin.

I scratched it open, and it healed into this.

Uncle Adan, Aunt White, don’t listen to his ramblings!”

Carson Flores, calm and composed, continued, “Judging by the healing of your scar, you must have contracted the disease about two months ago.

This disease can suppress the production of male hormones.

In fact, it isn’t difficult to treat, but one is required to abstain from alcohol and sex during treatment.

Clearly, you haven’t done either.”

“Your eyelids are tinged with blue, and there’s a slight redness at the back of your eyes, both signs of your recent indulgence in drink and carnal pleasures.

Normally, doctors would advise a two-month abstinence.

By the looks of it, you barely managed a month before you relapsed.

Your indulgence has diminished the treatment’s efficacy and exacerbated the suppression of male hormones.

Have you found yourself increasingly unable to perform lately?”

Ethan vehemently denied, “That’s absurd!

I’ve just been staying up late recently, resulting in blue eyelids and bloodshot eyes.

It’s not what you’re suggesting.

Don’t spread rumors, or I’ll sue you for slander!”

Despite Ethan’s denials, the uncontrollable panic in his eyes indirectly confirmed the truth of Carson Flores’s words.

Samantha Tate curled her lip in disgust, disdain in her eyes.

Adan Gilliam spoke with a frown, “Young people, although vigorous, must pay attention to rest.

Don’t always go to nightclubs and stay up late.

Your health is the most important.”

Ethan let out a breath of relief and promptly adopted a humble attitude, “You’re right, Uncle Adan.

I will take care in the future.”

Adan Gilliam raised his glass, “Come on, everyone, let’s make a toast and drink to it.”

Adan Gilliam was clearly giving Ethan an out, smoothing over the incident.

Otherwise, the more Carson Flores explained with clarity and evidence, the more embarrassing it would be for Ethan, the harder it would be for him to save face.

Carson Flores simply smiled and said no more.

He had no real feud with Ethan, it was just a counterattack on Ethan’s targeting of him.

Now there was no one doubting his medical skills anymore, right?

No one could say he couldn’t earn money with his medical skills now, right?

Ethan stared resentfully at Ethan, annoyed by his blunder which also reflected poorly on himself.

But what could he do?

After all, Ethan was his own son.

He still had to lend support.

Ethan changed the subject, “Ethan, didn’t you organize an outdoor camping trip?”

Ethan regained his composure and eagerly responded, “Right, I almost forgot.

Samantha, we’re planning to camp on Mingyue Mountain.

We can have a barbecue and stuff.

Why don’t you join us?

That’s the purpose of my visit today, to invite you.”

Before Samantha could answer, Adan Gilliam chimed in, “Tomorrow’s the weekend, Samantha.

You’ll have nothing to do at home anyway, why not go have some fun?”

Samantha Tate hesitated, “But Carson and I have plans to watch a movie and shop tomorrow.”

Adan Gilliam laughed, “Why not go together then?

You’re all young.

It’s fun to hang out together.

You can always watch a movie or shop some other time.”

Ethan’s eyes sparkled, and he extended a warm invitation, “Carson, come with us.

A buddy of mine who’s also served in the military is going.

You’ll definitely have a lot to talk about.”

Carson was just about to refuse when Samantha Tate suddenly spoke up, “Are you inviting us both?

Then let’s go, and make it an outdoor date.”

Ethan grinned, “Exactly, let’s all go together.

It’s more fun with more people.”

Carson looked at Samantha Tate with a troubled expression and said, “I have some things to take care of tomorrow, things I already mentioned to you…”

Samantha Tate cut him off, “It’s the weekend.

Whatever it is, it can wait until next week.

You said you’d keep me company, right?

Camping is no different.”

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Carson naturally couldn’t refuse to give Samantha face, especially after boasting about taking good care of her, about making her happy.

“Then, I’ll make a call to see if it can be rescheduled.”

Disregarding Carson’s attempt to get out of it, Samantha Tate made the decision, “That’s settled then, we’ll go together.

By the way, do we need to prepare any tents?”
