The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Please Identify, Mr. Flores_1

Vincent Ward suddenly turned his head, his gaze filled with disbelief.

This young man had actually recognized at a glance that he was using the Seven Star Needle technique, and he even noticed that it was a simplified version!

Vincent Ward’s words unconsciously took on a tone of seeking advice, ”Even if it’s a simplified version, my acupuncture was meant to regulate his breathing and ease his asthma, so why did he react like this?”

Carson Flores replied offhandedly, ”It’s better to dredge than to block, you chose the wrong acupoints. The few needles you inserted didn’t expel the qi; it was instead trapped inside. Once you removed the Silver Needles, it would burst out even more violently.”

”This is like a gourd in a water tank, you can press it down to the bottom with your hand, but once you let go, it will rise up from the water. It’s the same principle.”

Vincent Ward’s face was filled with disbelief, ”My acupoint selection was wrong?”

Carson Flores glanced at Dariel Gilliam, who seemed barely able to breathe and was close to dying. Without any pretentious delay, he stepped up to the bedside, picked up the Silver Needles from the tray beside him, and immediately gave the answer, ”The first needle should not be in the Danzhong point, but in the Shenfeng point...”

As Carson Flores spoke, he swiftly inserted the Silver Needle, steadily piercing the Shenfeng point, three points deep and precisely on target.

Vincent Ward’s eyes suddenly widened with shock.

The Silver Needles were very flexible, yet Carson Flores managed to insert them smoothly in one go!

This skill was beyond what Vincent Ward could achieve!

”The second needle, Buling point.”

As Carson Flores spoke, his hands continued to move without pause, dropping needles like the wind, swiftly lining up a row of Silver Needles on Dariel Gilliam’s body.

Vincent Ward did not interfere. He even blocked other people like Adan Gilliam, who wanted to stop Carson Flores from proceeding. Vincent Ward’s gaze was fixed on Carson as he administered the needles, his eyes growing brighter and brighter.

”Resuscitation Technique!”

After watching Carson Flores’s needling technique for a while, Vincent Ward suddenly exclaimed, his eyes wide and face full of disbelief.

The Resuscitation Technique ranked third in the world’s list of extraordinary acupuncture methods and was one of the secrets of the acupuncture field. This young man was so young, yet he knew the Resuscitation Technique!

Carson Flores withdrew his hand, pressing two acupoints on Dariel Gilliam’s body. Dariel’s tense body immediately relaxed, he took a long breath and his face, darkening to purple, quickly turned a lighter shade of red.

He had recovered!

Carson Flores let go, helping Dariel Gilliam to lie back down on the bed. Turning his head to Vincent Ward, he gave a slight smile, ”Not bad at recognizing, I did indeed use the Resuscitation Technique.”

Everyone in the room wore strange expressions.

That attitude...

If it were Vincent Ward speaking to Carson Flores, it would seem without a problem, but with Carson Flores speaking to Vincent Ward, why did it feel so odd?

Adan Gilliam and the others did not understand the medical terms, nor did they know what the Seven Star Needle or Resuscitation Technique were, but they all could see that the elder, who had appeared on the verge of passing away just moments before, was now breathing smoothly and his complexion was returning to normal.

Seeing Vincent Ward, one of the four renowned doctors, with a shocked expression as if he had seen a ghost also spoke volumes.

Vincent Ward actually made a diagnostic error, and this mistake was corrected by Carson Flores, who also straightforwardly gave Vincent Ward a lesson?

Adan Gilliam looked shocked, his emotions a mix of worry and joy.

He was happy that his daughter’s suddenly introduced boyfriend showed such incredible medical expertise, even saving the elder. The worry was that, after today’s incident, trying to push him away from his daughter would likely not be supported by the elder.

Samantha Tate was speechless, her face a picture of disbelief.

The man she had casually picked up from the street was this amazing?

This fifty thousand was well spent!

Vincent Ward looked toward Carson Flores with eyes full of undisguised fervor.

With a respectful gesture, Vincent Ward asked, ”May I know how to address this gentleman?”

”Carson Flores.”

Vincent Ward inquired further, ”May I ask who your mentor is?”

Carson Flores responded, ”All I know is that my master’s surname is Xue.”

Vincent Ward thought for a moment, but couldn’t recall any renowned doctor with the surname Xue. Deciding not to dwell on it, he expressed his gratitude, ”I am extremely thankful to Mr. Flores for being here today, preventing me from making a grave mistake. I’m deeply grateful.”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”No need for thanks.”

Vincent Ward sought advice once again, ”Acupuncture can alleviate the patient’s symptoms, but it cannot completely eradicate the problem. Does Mr. Flores have a solution?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”With acupuncture in addition to taking medicine, and diligent care, recovery is possible.”

Vincent Ward’s eyes lit up. After thinking for a moment, he had Nathan Scott bring paper and pen, and took the initiative to write down the prescription he had in mind. He then respectfully handed the prescription to Carson Flores with both hands.

”This is the prescription I have written, please provide your guidance, Mr. Flores.”
