Carson Flores laughed, his gaze not wavering, as he watched Samantha Tate with a smile: “Can I?

Well, bring it on, I’m ready.”

Samantha Tate’s hand clutching at the neckline suddenly froze.

According to Samantha Tate’s thinking, the moment she pretended to undo her clothes, Carson Flores would definitely back away in embarrassment, and she could use that as a reason to keep him around.

But Carson’s reaction had completely exceeded Samantha Tate’s expectations.

He’s not playing by the rules!

His eyes are so wide open, he really dares to look!

Samantha Tate’s face flushed crimson, and she snorted: “Pervert!”

Carson spread his hands, his face the picture of innocence, and smiled: “Didn’t you say it was okay?

How am I a pervert?

Ha ha, trying to bluff me, woman, don’t compete with a man in this regard, you are the one who ends up at a loss.

Okay now, no need for pretenses, put down your hands.”

Carson’s smile, in Samantha Tate’s eyes, seemed like an undisguised mockery, and the last sentence made her blood boil.

Pretenses?

Is he mocking me for not daring to open my clothes, for making empty gestures!

I’ll do it today and see what you have to say!

Anyway, it’s not like you haven’t seen it before, what does one more time matter!

With her mind overheating, Samantha Tate’s hands suddenly pulled, ripping open her front.

The smile on Carson’s face abruptly froze.

Now it was his turn to be stunned.

Has this woman gone mad?

She really did it!

Carson wasn’t inexperienced with women, but in that instant, he too was captivated by the beautiful view.

Truly beautiful!

The next second, Samantha Tate swiftly pulled her clothes back, covering up all the splendor.

Carson came back to his senses, his expression quite awkward: “You were serious, huh?”

Samantha Tate’s face was as red as a fiery cloud, her cheeks hot, and her heart filled with regret.

What was I thinking just now, to actually open my clothes in front of this stinky man?

I must be crazy!

Oh my god!

Who knows what he’s thinking about me now?

Samantha Tate, gnashing her teeth, looked at Carson Flores, and seeing his face filled with embarrassment and awkwardness, her tense and agitated heart inexplicably relaxed a bit.

Looks like I shocked him?

Embarrassed?

Okay then, as long as I’m not embarrassed, he’s the one who should be embarrassed!

After all, he’s seen it once before, so what’s one more look?

I’ll just play the girlfriend, fool my family, and then I’ll never see him again.

Others in a relationship even get intimate in bed, this is nothing compared to that.

With her mind quickly adjusted, Samantha Tate steadied herself and feigned composure as she snorted: “Did you like what you saw?”

Carson was speechless.

Attractive?

Not attractive?

Impossible to answer!

Samantha Tate pressed her advantage: “Last time you saved me and helped me once, count that as a favor returned.

But this time you didn’t save me, right?

You took advantage of me, didn’t you?”

Carson could only offer a wry smile of resignation: “Are you always this competitive?”

“Of course not!”

Samantha Tate reflexively retorted, then quickly calmed down and steered the conversation back: “Stay for dinner and help me get rid of that guy, okay?”

Carson sighed: “Fine, I’ll help you, but don’t do this kind of thing in the future, my heart can’t take it.”

Can’t handle the excitement?

A strange thought crossed Samantha Tate’s mind—Was it because of how good it looked?

“Okay, then let’s go downstairs.”

Carson didn’t budge, pointing to Samantha Tate’s face: “Your face is as red as a piece of red cloth, even your neck is red, maybe wait a bit before heading down.”

Samantha Tate bit her lip, then suddenly reached out and took Carson’s hand: “Let’s just go down like this, let them think what they will—it’ll have a better effect!”

Carson thought about it and realized she might have a point.

Hand in hand with Carson, Samantha Tate descended the stairwell, her footsteps alerting everyone in the living room, all heads turning to look.

Samantha Tate’s cheeks were flushed with pink yet to fade, looking shy and demure with Carson’s hand in hers.

Witnessing this, several people in the room grew solemn, especially Ethan, whose eyes seemed aflame, his fists clenched tight.

Adan Gilliam had just been advising Ethan on stepping up his game to win Samantha Tate’s heart and chase away the poor boy who returned from the military service, and Ethan was excited about it.

But the moment he turned around and saw this scene, it was like a thunderbolt out of the blue.

Samantha Tate, of course, saw everyone’s reactions and felt a secret thrill—her concerted effort wasn’t wasted!

Thinking back on the recent events, a shy look inadvertently crept into Samantha Tate’s eyes, making her appear even more like a little woman intoxicated with love, her face full of happiness and bashfulness.

Adan Gilliam felt quite awkward inside, having just given Ethan a pep talk, and here his daughter staged such a scene—wasn’t this like a slap in the face?

Hurriedly shifting the subject, Adan Gilliam asked: “How is the old man doing?”

Carson walked confidently into the living room and replied: “He’s much better now, just needs to keep taking his medicine.”

Adan Gilliam sighed with relief, for though he did not like Carson, he was earnestly concerned about his father’s health.

With a cheerful smile, Samantha Tate said: “Everyone’s hungry, can we start dinner now?”

Adan Gilliam glanced at Carson and noticed that he didn’t seem to be planning to leave.

Annoyed, he thought, this kid really has thick skin.

Not leaving, huh?

Very well, it’s a good chance to humiliate you, to show you how unfit you are to be here…
