Chapter 203: Chapter 203: My Dad is Called Huang Quan

The Yalai man was Malik, the very same one Ye Xiu had beaten at the elevator entrance of the Moon Luan Hotel the day before. However, since Ye Xiu was wearing a baseball cap and a mask, and had disguised his voice, Malik didn’t recognize him.

”Don’t get all the questions right. A perfect score will arouse suspicion, so just score 50 points,” Malik reminded him.

”Why?” Ye Xiu asked.

”Are you a pig? Can’t you understand such simple logic?” Malik said with disdain. ”I’m not a Xuanse native. If my score is too high, it will raise doubts. Huang Quan said the passing mark is 60 points, and for every point below that, there’s a fine of 10,000. I have to get fined a bit so Huang Quan won’t suspect I hired a Gunner.”

Ye Xiu was stunned. I only told the Eight Great National Protector War Gods to sell the test papers to the tens of thousands of Martial Artists for 100 Xuanse Currency each. How did they end up altering my imperial edict? Still, this is a great way to get rich!

Failing the exam meant a fine of 10,000 for every point below passing. Ninety-nine percent of the tens of thousands of foreign Martial Artists didn’t understand the Xuanse language; getting even ten or twenty points just by guessing would be the height of luck. Assuming each person was fined 400,000 per day, with tens of thousands of people, in a single day that would be...

HISS!

Ye Xiu sucked in a cold breath. This isn’t just about getting rich; this is a direct path to becoming a tycoon!

”No problem. I guarantee no one will suspect you hired a Gunner,” Ye Xiu promised. With that, he began to answer the questions rapidly, making sure every answer was wrong.

Scoring a perfect score was difficult, but Ye Xiu was completely confident he could score a zero.

Malik thought with disdain. Quite cooperative. These Xuanse Martial Artists are such a timid bunch, so obedient after just a little intimidation.

Although Ye Xiu and Malik’s conversation was quiet, it was still heard by the nearby members of the Xuan Ming Sect. They didn’t say anything, as Malik was one of their own. However, they all gathered around, copying each question as Ye Xiu finished it.

Ye Xiu sneered inwardly. A bunch of blockheads.

Less than twenty minutes later, Ye Xiu handed the test paper and pen to Malik. ”Alright, I’m done!”

”Not bad, not bad!” Malik patted Ye Xiu’s shoulder with satisfaction and asked, ”What’s your name?”

Ye Xiu pondered for two seconds. ”My name is Emperor Father!”

”Emperor Father, from now on, you’re to come here every morning and do my homework. Understood?” Malik threatened, his eyes glinting fiercely. ”If you dare not show up, I won’t just kill you—I’ll kill your entire family. Do you hear me?”

”Heh heh...” Ye Xiu chuckled.

I’d actually love to come and do their homework every day. There are 15 members of the Xuan Ming Sect in Jin Ye City. If they all scored zero every day, that would be a daily fine of 600,000 per person, totaling 9,000,000 for the group. The problem is, once the papers are collected and graded, Malik will realize I answered randomly. Even if I wanted to help again, these people from the Xuan Ming Sect would never agree.

”What are you ’heh heh’-ing about?” Malik glared and scolded. ”So, do you agree or not?”

Before Ye Xiu could answer, a resonant voice suddenly boomed!

”Time to check the homework!”

The Eight Great National Protector War Gods arrived with a large entourage. Ye Xiu glanced over and saw that the people they brought were a mix of men and women, old and young, with most of them wearing glasses. No need to guess—this group is full of teachers. The Eight Great National Protector War Gods have probably summoned every teacher in Jin Ye City to grade these papers.

Seeing the Eight Great National Protector War Gods arrive to check the homework, many Martial Artists in the audience grew anxious. They hadn’t finished yet, especially the poorer ones who were terrified of being fined.

”Go into the audience seats, grade the tests on the spot, and take down the names of everyone who didn’t pass,” Qing Luan told the teachers.

The teachers immediately rushed off to grade the papers, extremely enthusiastic about helping the Eight Great National Protector War Gods. Moreover, they had been promised a daily payment of 1,000 Xuanse Currency for their work.

The tens of thousands of Martial Artists in the audience weren’t seated randomly. The area had been divided into sections, with clear markings indicating where each country’s families, sects, and Loose Cultivators were to sit. The teachers also had designated areas to cover, rather than checking homework at random.

”Hand over your test papers!” a female teacher in her twenties said as she approached the Xuan Ming Sect’s section.

”No problem!” Malik eagerly took charge, collecting all the papers from his group and handing them over to the teacher.

The female teacher took out a red pen and began grading the tests on the spot. As she worked, her expression turned to one of shock. This student, Malik, had written beautiful Xuanse characters, yet he hadn’t answered a single question correctly. It wasn’t unusual for someone to get questions wrong—especially a foreigner—so the teacher wasn’t too surprised by that. The issue was that every single question was wrong in a uniquely creative way.

This was especially true for the final essay question. The topic was ”My Father.”

Malik had written: ”My dad’s name is Huang Quan. He is wise and mighty, handsome and suave, elegant as a willow, dashing and debonair...” The flattery was simply breathtaking.

However, when the teacher finished grading Malik’s paper and moved on to the others, she was completely dumbfounded.

”Who copied from whom?” she couldn’t help but ask.

”We didn’t copy. We all wrote them ourselves,” Malik said with a smile.

”Impossible. You all scored zero, and every question is wrong in the exact same way. How can all the essays be identical?” the teacher challenged.

The fifteen members of the Xuan Ming Sect were stunned. In unison, they all turned to look at Ye Xiu.

”You all seem busy. I’ll be going now!” Ye Xiu got up and walked away.

The fifteen members wanted to stop him, but what would be the point? To publicly admit that Malik’s test was done by ’Emperor Father’ and that everyone else had copied from him?

It was only then that Malik realized he had been tricked by ’Emperor Father’!

”Malik, I’ll pay the fine for you. You should go to the restroom,” Jim said tactfully, a thinly veiled suggestion for Malik to chase after Ye Xiu.

”Okay!” Malik nodded, hurriedly getting up to give chase. Just as he exited the stadium, he saw Ye Xiu getting into a taxi.

He quickly hailed another one and tailed it, watching as Ye Xiu’s taxi stopped in front of Kangtai Hospital. Ye Xiu got out and entered the building.

Malik almost exploded with anger. So, he’s from the Tiansha Association! He didn’t get out of the taxi to follow, afraid of being ganged up on by the Sang Jing Ninja Warriors. Instead, he told the driver, ”Back to the stadium!”

Upon returning to the stadium, Malik told the other Xuan Ming Sect members about how he had followed Ye Xiu and seen him enter Kangtai Hospital.

”This is outrageous!” Jim roared. ”Yesterday, people from the Tiansha Association attacked Malik at the Moon Luan Hotel for no reason. Today, they sent someone to set us up, costing us a fine of 9,000,000 Xuanse Currency. Do the Nine Great Serpent Heads truly think our Xuan Ming Sect is afraid of the Tiansha Association?”

”Sect Hierarch, we must teach the Tiansha Association a lesson! Otherwise, Martial Artists across the globe will laugh at us for being afraid of them,” Malik said furiously. The others were also seething, their faces pale with rage.

”Galava, while all the War Gods from the Tiansha Association are here in the stadium, go to Kangtai Hospital and kill all their members there,” Jim ordered with chilling killing intent. ”Also, inform Headquarters to immediately dispatch all Eighth Grade Grandmasters and Great Grandmasters to Sang Jing. We will annihilate the Tiansha Association.”
