Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 779, I Want Revenge

Translator: Silavin

“Ancient God Shadow Guard…” Lu Fan looked down at this Ancient God Shadow Guard, feeling that it brought him an extraordinarily familiar sensation.

After contemplating for a while, Lu Fan suddenly awakened to the realisation. [Wait. Isn’t that the Monster I had encountered in the ice lake all a year ago?]

At the time, Lu Fan had just witnessed the coffin being pulled by the Blood Moon’s Owner. Before he could approach, a black shadow had emerged from within it.

Even Xiao Ye had conveyed her emotional distress, warning Lu Fan that this thing was dangerous.

Lu Fan could also sense the threat of death from the opponent’s aura, so he had desperately fled using Void Break, ultimately escaping from its pursuit.

This was also the only time Lu Fan had encountered an enemy and chosen not to fight, instead opting to leave directly.

Because at that time, Lu Fan’s Level was too low, and he only had Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui as his Pet Dragons. He was not that strong, roughly equivalent to a Fourth Profession Player at the time.

This incident remained deeply etched in Lu Fan’s memory. After all, being chased for several kilometres by an enemy was not exactly glorious. It could well be called his shameful history.

From that moment onwards, Lu Fan had kept this matter in mind, secretly vowing that he would definitely get his revenge later.

And now, upon seeing this Ancient God Shadow Guard, Lu Fan sensed that the dangerous aura emanating from it was identical to that of the black shadow that had once pursued him!

Without doubt, the Monster that had chased Lu Fan back then, even if it was not this very Ancient God Shadow Guard before him, it must certainly be one of its kind.

He had not expected it to be a Level 130 Legendary Grade Boss. [No wonder it had made me feel such immense danger at the time. With my strength back then, encountering this kind of existence would have meant certain death. Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui, who hadn’t yet grown to maturity, would never have been its match.]

However, now Lu Fan has reached Level 90.

Although he had not yet achieved his Fourth Profession Change, his Level spoke for itself. Moreover, all his Pet Dragons had entered their Adult Phase. He was a completely different person compared to his former self!

At this moment, Lu Fan might actually not fear this Ancient God Shadow Guard at all!

Lu Fan secretly compared the strength of both sides. The opponent’s Level was much higher than his, a full 130 Levels, even stronger than the original Divine Bone.

Yet Lu Fan possessed ten Dragon Kings, equivalent to ten Level 90 Mythical Grade Bosses.

Add to this, Lu Fan’s own transformation into his Golden Dragon King Form, along with various exclusive Skills. Even if his Combat Power could not rival a Level 90 Mythical Grade Boss, surely a Legendary Grade should be easy, right?

Ten Mythical Grade Bosses might well be capable of slaying a High Level Legendary Grade Boss!

Moreover, there were Skills with synergy between all the Pet Dragons, as well as between Lu Fan and his Pet Dragons.

Therefore, Lu Fan remained highly confident in his own strength.

Today would be the time to clear his name of past humiliation!

Lu Fan sneered coldly, summoning forth all his Pet Dragons.

Instantly, Transport Arrays illuminated in mid-air one after another, with Pet Dragon after Pet Dragon emerging from within.

So many Pet Dragon Kings would make even Divine Beings tremble upon witnessing them!

“Xiao Hei!” Lu Fan no longer rode Ye Sha, instead flying directly through the air using his Bone Wings, looking down at the Ancient God Shadow Guard below. “I don’t know whether you were the one who chased me back then. But whether it was you or not, I’ve decided it to be you.”

“Previously, when my Level was low, you bullied me quite thoroughly, didn’t you? As they say, ‘a gentleman’s revenge may come ten years late’. Today, I’m bringing my Dragons to settle the score with you!”

The Ancient God Shadow Guard below seemed uncertain whether it understood what Lu Fan was saying.

However, it should have been able to sense the formidable nature of the Giant Dragons overhead. At this moment, it resembled a cheetah, maintaining full alertness as it watched Lu Fan and the other Pet Dragons, completely treating Lu Fan as an enemy requiring serious attention.

Lu Fan could see that while the Ancient God Shadow Guard’s Level was high, its intelligence was relatively low. Or rather, its intelligence would not manifest in conversation with Humans, but would very likely show itself in battle.

Therefore, Lu Fan did not waste more words. After greeting this ‘old friend’, his body began to expand, transforming into his Golden Dragon King Form.

Instantly, Lu Fan’s Defence throughout his entire body soared!

Not only that, but the Little Blade Armour Dragon King also covered Lu Fan’s entire body, while Xiao Zuo and Xiao You transformed into two extremely imposing Arm Guards, attaching to Lu Fan’s left and right arms.

Now, Lu Fan was a Giant Dragon covered entirely in armour, visibly at maximum defensive capacity!

The High Attributes provided by the Little Blade Armour Dragon King and Xiao Zuo and Xiao You granted Lu Fan High Defence and Attack Power that almost none of his other Pet Dragons could grant.

He was now definitely a qualified Tank!

Since this was the case, naturally Lu Fan acted like a Tank.

“Golden Dragon King’s Judgment Wings!” Accompanied by a Dragon Roar-like shriek, Lu Fan took the initiative, flying towards the Ancient God Shadow Guard below. Simultaneously, his Dragon Wings burst forth with golden radiance, transforming into a slashing attack that struck towards the Ancient God Shadow Guard.

Instantly, a golden slash descended. Some Fallen Corpse Puppets caught in it faced Lu Fan’s insane Attributes, immediately fragmenting to death!

When this slash struck the Ancient God Shadow Guard, the opponent actually raised its forelimbs, which seemed neither like a hand nor a claw. It physically grasped Lu Fan’s Judgment Wings!

Lu Fan could sense that his Skill had indeed landed upon the opponent, but the opponent’s Defence was terrifyingly powerful. It could actually withstand this strike head-on without showing any signs of injury!

One must understand that Lu Fan’s Attributes now numbered in the tens of millions. Could its Attributes also be so terrifying!?

As this strike landed, although the Ancient God Shadow Guard caught the blow, the tremendous force still caused its body to get pushed back, crashing to form a deep crater in the ground.

Nevertheless, it steadily caught this strike, then actually grasped Lu Fan’s Dragon Wings and hurled him violently to the ground.

An attack of this magnitude naturally could not injure Lu Fan.

Lu Fan rolled over and stood up again, simultaneously breathing Dragon Breath from his mouth, enveloping the Ancient God Shadow Guard within it.

The opponent, bathed in Lu Fan’s Dragon Breath, appeared as though it had suffered no Damage whatsoever, remaining completely calm and unhurried.

This made Lu Fan furrow his brow, thinking to himself that it truly deserved to be a Level 130 Legendary Grade Boss. [It’s Defence is Heaven Defying!]
