Chapter 754, Anorexia Meets Divine Chef

As for the Devouring Dragon King, she had naturally taken refuge early in Lu Fan’s Pet Sub-Space, choosing not to reveal herself but instead conceal all of her aura.

Otherwise, once the Devouring Dragon King’s aura was exposed, the Life Dragon King’s trust in Lu Fan would likely completely vanish.

After returning to Shadow Isle, Lu Fan brought Lin Dong to meet Han Ke and the others.

This time, Lin Dong was obtained by Lu Fan from a Map in the Far North through considerable hardship, so regarding how he obtained Lin Dong, Lu Fan told everyone everything without concealing anything.

In truth, everyone had long harboured doubts about how Lu Fan had acquired so many Pet Dragons.

However, since this involved Lu Fan’s secrets, even Han Ke refused to ask about it.

Now, for the first time, Lu Fan had told everyone the origin of a Pet Dragon, and everyone speculated that perhaps the origins of his previous Pet Dragons were all similar to Lin Dong’s.

This meant Lu Fan’s rise was not purely down to luck, effort also constituted a significant portion to it.

Lin Dong’s acquisition dispelled everyone’s speculation about the origins of Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons.

This suited Lu Fan’s intentions perfectly, after all, he could not very well reveal his cheat that was the Super Treasure Map System.

The girls were quite fond of the adorable Lin Dong.

After all, Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons had basically all grown up and entered their Maturing Phase. In short, none were as small and cute as Lin Dong right now.

Moreover, Lin Dong’s entire body appeared as if constructed from ice crystals, which struck directly at the girls’ hearts. Everyone felt Lin Dong might be the most visually appealing of all the Pet Dragons.

Han Ke even prepared quite a lot of roasted meat that the other Pet Dragons loved, wanting to feed Lin Dong.

Unfortunately, Lin Dong’s anorexic tendencies seemed carved into her very bones. Even though Han Ke’s cooking was like heavenly delicacies to the other Pet Dragons, inevitably causing them to compete for it, Lin Dong merely sniffed and remained completely unmoved. In fact, only a few dishes managed to catch her reluctant attention enough for her to take a few bites.

This left Han Ke feeling rather defeated, until Lu Fan explained that this Baby Dragon was just like that. After being born, she had not even finished eating her own Dragon Egg.

Still, even after hearing this, Han Ke did not stop questioning her own culinary skills.

In the end, Lin Dong’s existence actually sparked Han Ke’s competitive spirit.

All along, her cooking had received widespread praise. She’d never suffered such a setback.

Now, a Baby Dragon had actually appeared who did not like her cooking. This made Han Ke feel she needed to continue refining her culinary arts.

Therefore, she planned to return to Dragon Capital University soon to properly attend classes with the Lifestyle Faculty teachers, to see if there were any areas where her cooking could be improved.

Lu Fan initially wanted to dissuade Han Ke, since Lin Dong’s anorexia really had nothing to do with whether her cooking was delicious or not.

But then he reconsidered. [If Auntie’s cooking skills could reach even greater heights, wouldn’t I benefit as well? If she really did research a few new dishes, I’d definitely be the first to benefit, able to taste delicious food I had never had before.]

So, Lu Fan said nothing and let Han Ke do as she wished.

Besides Han Ke, Jian Ying and the others also needed to return to Dragon Capital University.

During this period, they had been idly gaining Experience Points on Shadow Isle, and combined with bringing Ice Crystal Beasts to grind on Shadow Isle, their Levels had all risen to 60, allowing them to undergo their Third Profession Change.

Especially Jian Ying. The Experience Points on her were almost bursting her Experience Bar. She was merely waiting for Tao Xiaoman, so that she would not go for her Third Profession Change alone.

Today, Tao Xiaoman had finally reached Level 60 as well, so everyone decided to go to Dragon Capital University together for their Third Profession Change.

Seeing this, Lu Fan agreed to return together with them.

As a student of Dragon Capital University, he indeed had not returned to attend classes for quite some time.

More importantly, he wanted to give the Life Fruit to the Devouring Dragon King, and he could not do so on Shadow Isle.

On Shadow Isle, the Devouring Dragon King needed to maintain a dormant state to avoid being detected by the Life Dragon King.

But how could she take the Life Fruit from Lu Fan’s hands while maintaining a dormant state?

Therefore, Lu Fan needed to go elsewhere, then give the Life Fruit to the Devouring Dragon King, allowing her to peacefully enter deep slumber, fully integrating both the Life Fruit and the Frost Dragon King’s Bloodline Power into her body. That way, she would be able to recover her strength as soon as possible to help him hunt down the Blood Moon’s Owner.

After agreeing with everyone, Lu Fan went to find the Life Dragon King.

Regarding Lu Fan acquiring the Frost Dragon King as a Pet Dragon, the Life Dragon King was also greatly astonished.

However, she had no authority to question Lu Fan’s affairs.

Lu Fan claimed that since the Frost Dragon King had not consumed enough of her Eggshell, her Bloodline Power was somewhat lacking and requested one of the Life Dragon King’s Life Fruits.

The Life Dragon King had no objections and readily gave one to Lu Fan.

After all, both parties had previously agreed that Lu Fan could obtain one Life Fruit each year.

Now, he was merely taking what was rightfully his so how could the Life Dragon King object?

However, the Life Dragon King did remind Lu Fan that this Life Fruit need not be wasted, because the current deficiency in the Frost Dragon King’s body could be replenished simply by spending some time in her presence.

This Life Fruit could be saved for other purposes.

Lu Fan pretended to have a sudden realisation, thanked the Life Dragon King, saying he had not considered what else to use this Life Fruit for, then bid it farewell and left, taking the girls back to Dragon Capital University through a Transport Array he had left behind earlier.

Upon returning, Jian Ying and the others all went to the Profession Change Hall for their Third Profession Change.

Lu Fan summoned the Devouring Dragon King, gave her the Life Fruit, and told her to consume it before going into slumber.

When the Devouring Dragon King awakened the next time, it would be time to hunt down the Blood Moon’s Owner!

During these few days, Lu Fan planned to inform Tu Jing, then have Tu Jing arrange for some scholars to research that section of the Frozen Ancient God in his possession, to see if they could find methods to counter it.

As for himself, he would find suitable Levelling locations to quickly raise the Frost Dragon King’s Level.

…

Meanwhile, in the Far North.

This region now remained in eternal darkness, with howling winds and swirling snow, creating an environment harsh to the extreme.

At the Griffin Legion camp, everything proceeded as normal, with Griffin Legion members constantly returning from completed Missions while others collected new Missions before departing to explore the area.

No one noticed that in the distance on the horizon, two massive blood-red Moons had actually begun to move, slowly rising…
