Warlock Apprentice

Chapter 2000: Chapter 2001: His Identity

The teleportation chamber to the side of the Spirit Tree Hall.

”Aren’t you going back to pack your luggage?” Angel looked at Baruba.

Baruba shook his head, ”No need, I don’t have much to pack.”

Angel: ”Are you sure you can just leave the alchemist shop like that?”

Baruba looked up in confusion, puzzled as to why the red-haired wizard knew he worked at the alchemist shop. Could he have already investigated his background in such a short time?

He couldn’t question it, so he could only be honest, ”Master Promy is currently in seclusion making an artifact, and he hasn’t shown up for a month. A few days ago, he sent me a message saying the shop is temporarily closed until he comes out of seclusion.”

”He didn’t say when he’d come out, but from the tone of his message, it seems like it will take a long time.”

That’s why Baruba found the time to take on the tea party construction task.

”Is Promy in seclusion?” Angel whispered softly. He originally thought of including Promy in the initial open test list, as he is a well-established Alchemist who would be very useful in both the construction of the new city and setting up the tea party venue.

The most important thing is that Angel is very familiar with Promy’s character.

However, since Promy hasn’t come out of seclusion, it can only be set aside for now.

Once it was confirmed that Baruba didn’t need to pack, Angel directly took them to the teleportation point.

Moments later, they left the chasm and stepped onto the ground of the Pamiji Plateau. Although it was now the Month of Repose, it was still bitterly cold on the Pamiji Plateau.

The two little ones shivered as soon as they stepped out, quickly pulling thick clothes from their bags to wear.

Baruba was wearing the least among them, not a stitch on his upper body, and barefoot. Yet he stood on the frozen ground as if he felt nothing, his expression unchanged.

”Big guy, aren’t you cold?” Kudodo asked curiously, looking at Baruba.

Baruba: ”No, with bloodline enhancement, I can maintain a stable body temperature unless it’s extreme climate.”

”Bloodline enhancement? So, like Babaya, you’re on the bloodline side?” Kudodo’s eyes lit up, ”I didn’t expect you to have already fused with your bloodline! Can Babaya and I discuss bloodline matters with you in the future?”

Babaya glared at Kudodo, although she didn’t like being included in Kudodo’s conversation, she didn’t stop him. In her heart, she also wanted to communicate with Baruba, who is also on the bloodline side.

Talking about bloodline matters? Baruba’s expression was slightly dazed, a self-deprecating smile involuntarily curling at his lips.

Baruba wanted to tell Kudodo that his bloodline is that of a Parachute Fungus Insect, called a disposable bloodline, and there’s not much to discuss.

But looking at Kudodo’s face full of anticipation, he didn’t know how to say it.

”Baruba’s bloodline is quite special, on the fundamental issue of bloodlines, it’s hard to give you constructive opinions.” At this moment, Angel spoke up, intervening in their conversation, ”Moreover, Babaya leans towards a plant-type bloodline, which is also a special branch on the bloodline side. Instead of seeking help from Baruba, you could try going to the Cloudtop Library to acquire the ’Newly Compiled Natural Bloodline Atlas’.”

Angel casually shifted the topic’s attention away from Baruba.

Baruba looked at the red-haired wizard ahead: Is he helping me out?

A sense of gratitude rose in Baruba’s heart. This might be the first official wizard in the Barbarian Cave to show him goodwill. But, along with gratitude, he had a large doubt in his heart, who exactly was this red-haired wizard, and why did it feel like he knew him well?

Angel looked at Babaya, ”Moreover, your body is very weak right now. I think what you need most now is to first learn the Blood Technique, to stabilize your own blood energy. Then you can consider what bloodline to integrate.”

A trace of gloom flickered in Babaya’s eyes. She knew she should learn the Blood Technique first, but if not for taking on Lord Pat’s task, she didn’t know how long it would take to acquire the Blood Technique.

Angel: ”When you return, I can give you the Blood Technique first, but I need you to record your daily cultivation progress.”

After speaking to Babaya, Angel looked at Kudodo, ”You too, list the tricks you want to practice and record your progress.”

Babaya and Kudodo were stunned for a moment. They understood what was implied but didn’t know why they had to do it. Babaya had a feeling that Lord Pat seemed to care a lot about their cultivation progress?

Seeing the two little ones filled with doubt, Angel didn’t explain much, as they would understand once they entered the Wilderness of Dreams.

This time, he brought them into the Wilderness of Dreams, not only to let them assist Jon but also to record how they progress practicing tricks in the Wilderness of Dreams.

After all, the current virtual magic in the Wilderness of Dreams is just right for their level. They can use virtual magic to construct trick models without worrying about the model collapsing, giving them more opportunities and faster speed to find trick models that suit their Mind Space.

This can also be considered a small project surrounding the larger environment of the Wilderness of Dreams.

”It’s time to go.” Since he was bringing three apprentices this time, Angel didn’t fly directly to the ruins but took out the gondola.

Babaya and Kudodo had little reaction to the gondola’s appearance, obediently hopping onto it. Baruba, on the other hand, looked at this dreamy flying boat with a dazed expression.

Although he had never ridden this flying boat, such a conspicuous flying vehicle could not be unfamiliar to him.

Currently, only one person has a gondola.

Baruba looked at the red-haired wizard not far away, his throat moved... Could he be Angel?

If it really is Angel, then everything that happened today seems to make sense.

In the entire Barbarian Cave, the only one who had genuinely helped him, pulling him out of the dark clutches, was Angel.

All because back when Angel had not yet stepped into the Transcendent Door officially, Baruba had saved Angel from an assassin.

At that time, Baruba had only acted casually, but since then, Angel had repaid him countless times.

He anonymously provided him with the Guiding Method; when he was about to be made into a Substitute Puppet, Angel had saved him; later, his practice of ”Elementary Trick Revision” was also given by Angel.

Baruba even knew that being kept at Promy’s shop as an employee was actually seeing Angel’s favor.

If the red-haired wizard really is Angel, then it makes complete sense why he knows about him, and why he feels the goodwill. In the entire Barbarian Cave, the only wizard who would show him goodwill is probably Angel.
