Chapter 1967: Chapter 1968: The Reason for the Opening

”I do have this intention, but the final decision is still up to you.” Sanders looked at Angel: ”What about you? What are your thoughts on this?”

Angel: ”Mentor, do you want to open the Wilderness of Dreams during the Tea Party?”

”That’s right, it’s a very good opportunity.” Sanders did not deny it.

Angel frowned tightly: ”I agree to open the Wilderness of Dreams because it’s been in the plan, so that’s not a problem. But opening the Wilderness of Dreams directly at the Tea Party, isn’t that step a bit too big?”

”What is your idea then?” Sanders did not respond directly but asked how Angel planned to proceed first.

Angel: ”If we really want to open the Wilderness of Dreams, I think we can do a small-scale test first. As for the participants, limit it to people we are familiar with, such as Wizards from the Barbarian Cave and some close friends. After the test is confirmed to be correct, proceed to gradually open up.”

Sanders nodded: ”I agree with your idea. However, what I mean by opening the Wilderness of Dreams at the Tea Party is not as comprehensively open as you imagine.”

”Just like how Lianna hopes the Tree Spirit will open up internal space, if the Tree Spirit really opens up space inside the Eternal Tree, do you think all the Witches attending the Tea Party can enter?”

Angel contemplated Sanders’ words. The internal space opened by the Tree Spirit would surely connect to the Life Pool inside the Eternal Tree. The Life Pool holds core significance; the rich life aura that has extended for tens of thousands of years can wash away chronic ailments in ordinary people without them doing anything inside for just a few minutes. For Extraordinary Life, the Life Pool is even more important; even the aura emanating from the Life Pool can be collected and used as demonic materials.

Therefore, such a crucial place cannot possibly be open to all Witches participating in the Tea Party.

Angel replied: ”No, only a portion of the Witches should be able to enter.”

Sanders nodded: ”That’s right, if the Tree Spirit really opens up internal space, only a portion of Witches with status and power would qualify to enter.”

This is like Greya’s Barbie Restaurant, the difference between Gold Card, Silver Card, and Bronze Card. Although class divisions are prominent, the World of Wizards does not advocate for equality for all; you must have the strength to match such treatment.

This is also why Rhein agreed with Lianna’s proposal, preferring to go against the Tree Spirit’s idea, hoping he would open up internal space.

Because a space that symbolizes personal status doesn’t necessarily need to be populated, but it must exist.

Such a place must be unique, private, unseen in other places, prestigious, and the most surprising.

The space inside the Eternal Tree seems to be the most qualified and largest place for Barbarian Cave to demonstrate a similar effect, deemed by Rhein as a unique place.

Sanders: ”Just like the internal space of the Eternal Tree, even if the Wilderness of Dreams is opened to the Tea Party, only a portion of Witches will be allowed to enter. And these people are inevitably a minority, which actually aligns with your idea of a small-scale test.”

Angel thought for a moment. If it’s not a comprehensive opening, but only a select few Witches have the qualification to enter, there indeed is room for maneuver. However, Angel still had some concerns.

”To us, most of these Witches are strangers. Their temperaments are hard to gauge, whether good or bad. Allowing them to enter, might there be some hidden risks?” Angel hesitated.

Sanders seemed indifferent: ”You don’t need to fathom their characters. Witches who stand at the peak rarely have the kind of goodness you might expect. However, in my view, it doesn’t matter. In the Wilderness of Dreams, they can’t stir up much trouble; even if they discover the secrets of the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain, it doesn’t matter. You already control the core authority of the Wilderness of Dreams, who can really undermine it?”

”Moreover, we are merely opening a space for them, not telling them where this is. None of these Witches are strong Dream Sorcerers and won’t immediately guess the truth about the Wilderness of Dreams.”

Angel frowned: ”If we tell them nothing, what’s the point of letting them in?”

”The point is to let them know that our Barbarian Cave has such a place.” Sanders paused, continuing: ”I mentioned before that the Tea Party is an excellent opportunity. Why is it an excellent opportunity? Because it gathers the most influential Witches from the Southern Domain in one place.”

”For a Witch to qualify to enter the Wilderness of Dreams, their identity must possess profound influence and combined strength and status in the Southern Domain, as I see it.”

”Letting these Witches know there is a world like the Wilderness of Dreams itself holds great significance.”

”After experiencing the convenience of the Wilderness of Dreams, they will naturally have suspicions, even different interpretations. These interpretations will spark intense discussions at their private Tea Party.”

”Regardless of their eventual thoughts, when the Wilderness of Dreams truly opens fully in the future, starting from the top down is always more convenient than from the bottom up.”

By the time Sanders got here, Angel already roughly understood his meaning.

Indeed, letting this group of Witches have a preliminary impression of the mysterious world of the Wilderness of Dreams in advance. That way, whether the eventual opening of the Wilderness of Dreams goes smoothly or encounters obstacles midway, there will be a rehearsal in the Tea Party’s debates, paving a path for the future.

Sanders: ”Furthermore, aside from future visions, merely from the perspective of the Tea Party itself, hosting it in the Wilderness of Dreams offers benefits far greater than the concerns you worry about.”

In Angel’s puzzled gaze, Sanders said: ”Do you know why the Tea Party has become an event of great significance in the Southern Domain? Why did Rhein agree to let the Tea Party be held at the Barbarian Cave?”

Sanders was asking, but he did not wait for Angel’s answer, directly providing the answer: ”Because of the exchange of information.”

Perhaps due to the difference between genders, women naturally have a higher sensitivity to information, or gossip, compared to men. The Tea Party, which gathers Witches together, becomes a melting pot of various intertwining information.

In fact, compared to the Star Gazing Day, the information at the Tea Party is more abundant, extensive, and secretive. The only thing that needs discernment is the truth and the usefulness of the news.

Even though much of it is gossip, even gossip can have significant value. For example, if Witches gossip about a Wizard’s unusual movements, it could lead to uncovering a hidden story through their discussions. Many secret relics have been unearthed this way.

This is why Rhein is willing to host the Tea Party; as long as it’s held at the Barbarian Cave, at their home ground, the opportunity to gather information is greater.

”Among various information, the most valuable is certainly the kind revealed by these Witches at the top of the Pyramid. And this is the information that major Witcher Organizations go to great lengths to obtain, yet it’s the hardest to acquire.” Sanders paused, his eyes narrowing slightly: ”Think about it, if the Wilderness of Dreams becomes their private venue for Tea Party exchange...”

”The information they exchange will be at your fingertips.”
