Chapter 1968: Chapter 1969: Preparations in Advance

If Angel wishes, he can monitor everything happening in the Wilderness of Dreams from a God’s View.

Therefore, once that group of Witches standing at the pinnacle of the Pyramid decides to hold their intimate tea party in the Wilderness of Dreams, Angel can easily obtain the information they discuss.

It’s known that in normal tea parties, men can still transform into a witch using Shapeshifting Technique to infiltrate and gather some information. Someone does this at every tea party, which is not uncommon.

But such high-level tea parties are inherently a very small circle where everyone knows each other. Even if you become someone among them, they can easily see through you and you can’t sneak in. Obtaining the information these Witches discuss becomes much harder.

Thinking of this, Angel felt a bit tempted.

Angel kept weighing the options internally, and finally, he looked up and nodded slowly to Sanders: ”Let’s do it this way then.”

Angel himself was already inclined towards openness, just the pace of openness he hoped to advance gradually from familiar small circles to the large circle of the Wizards’ Realm. In contrast, Sanders’ approach is to start with top Wizards and penetrate from above.

In a sense, their ideas were still quite similar. Both move from small circles to large circles, just with different selected objects.

After all, Angel still leaned towards openness, and before he had also considered the pros and cons of the tea party’s openness, though not as thoroughly as Sanders thought. The conclusion he reached himself was that it was actually possible to try opening up at the tea party.

Combining Sanders’ words, he ultimately chose to agree and conduct a trial openness first at the tea party.

After all, he firmly holds the Authority of the ”Gate of Dreams” and the ”Gatekeeper,” and outsiders, even if they can break the Wilderness of Dreams, cannot bypass him to invade it.

And the Log-in Device he provides for the tea party this time will certainly have a limit on the number of times it can be used. He temporarily uses the tea party as a starting point to conduct a small scale experimental openness, ensuring there are no problems before gradually expanding further.

Sanders was not surprised to hear Angel agree, as it was a beneficial thing after all.

After nodding, Sanders immediately brought up another topic: ”Since you’ve decided to conduct openness at the tea party, then some things need to be prepared in advance.”

Firstly, it’s necessary to decide where in the Wilderness of Dreams the tea party will be held. For these Witches, the tea party must guarantee at least two characteristics: privacy and uniqueness.

With these two bases, other factors such as the settings, atmosphere, environment, and supplies will become bonus points, and of course, the better, the better.

Therefore, you absolutely can’t just pick a random wilderness for it, it’s not a picnic.

In this regard, the Wilderness of Dreams itself has a great advantage because it already possesses privacy and uniqueness, so they only need to prepare the other aspects. And, as for the settings, atmosphere, and the most important tea for the tea party, Angel can provide the finest through the Dream Conch. With the Dream Conch, there’s no actual consumption, so go as high-level as possible.

However, the most important will still be the venue and environment, which need to be discussed in the future.

Besides the venue, what’s also needed in advance preparation is defining the quota for entering the Wilderness of Dreams. This quota is not just for the Witches attending the tea party but also includes some slots from within the Barbarian Cave.

Because ultimately this matter is closely related to the Barbarian Cave and concerns the organization’s reputation, Angel cannot issue the Log-in Devices temporarily to some Witches but must first discuss and persuade Rhein and the Tree Spirit to host the tea party in the Wilderness of Dreams.

The Tree Spirit is easy to persuade, and Angel might even earn the gratitude of the Tree Spirit.

But to persuade Rhein, concrete evidence must be provided.

In other words, the first step toward openness is not to let those Witches enter first, but to let Rhein and others enter the Wilderness of Dreams to get a prior impression.

Angel had no objection about this. According to his envisioned openness plan, it starts from the familiar small circles, which actually include the high-levels of the Barbarian Cave. So, selectively informing Rhein about the Wilderness of Dreams is unquestionably the right choice.

Moreover, if a location for the tea party must be built, Rhein’s help is indeed needed.

And any future New City construction would definitely require Rhein’s approval, and personnel would need to be allocated from the Barbarian Cave.

Choosing the spot and defining quotas are the two most crucial preparations needed in advance. Besides these, some risk assessment preparations are necessary. Even if their current discussions conclude that letting the Witches hold a tea party here won’t cause major trouble, the no major trouble referred here means not shaking the foundation of the Wilderness of Dreams, but many small unforeseeable troubles could still occur.

For example, what if the Witches, upon entering the Wilderness of Dreams, instead of focusing on the tea party, go exploring it? What is the crisis management plan?

Additionally, how to explain if the Witches develop doubts about the Energy System of the Wilderness of Dreams?

As long as there are humans, there will be disputes. If a dispute arises at the tea party because of a word and even a fight breaks out, how to resolve it?

These are the reasons for risk assessments and crisis management plans. Listing many possibilities in advance makes handling them more calmly when they indeed happen.

Angel agrees with the three points Sanders raised for pre-preparation. In terms of order of priority, Angel currently should first define the quotas; risk assessments can be conducted together with Sanders, Frode, and Rhein; as for the tea party-related matters, Angel’s focus won’t be too much, as women understanding women better, hence allowing the Witches to express themselves freely might be a better option.

After making definite plans, instead of rushing to define the quotas, Angel asked Sanders about Jon’s physical state.

In Angel’s view, the worst outcome of opening the Wilderness of Dreams is its eventual collapse. Of course, this possibility is extremely slight, but if it indeed occurs, Angel does not care about others; Jon is his utmost concern.

Sanders: ”Jon’s physical form, the Tri-State Equilibrium is still stable currently, it won’t regress into a decay phase in the short term. But I have told you the pros and cons of the Tri-State Equilibrium, and solving it is not easy.”

Solving the Tri-State Equilibrium, Angel knows, is not easy. But he’s actively seeking solutions now, so this can be set aside for a moment.

The most important is confirming Jon’s current physical state. Once verified, Angel breathed a little easier. As long as the physical state is fine, even if problems arise in the Wilderness of Dreams, Jon’s consciousness should still be able to temporarily return to his physical form, avoiding the risk of perishing.
