Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The view of space in front of Jia Yan, although to ordinary creatures looked the same as anywhere else, felt uniquely different to him, not just visually, but even his heart felt a peculiar comfort.

The energy sense around him wasn’t as intense as that in the Sagittarius arm, yet it was very familiar and comforting.

Because this was the feeling of home!

The space cabin’s journey, indeed, hadn’t strayed too far. After a voyage of only tens of thousands of light-years, it managed to arrive at the Orion Arm with astonishing precision, despite a few changes in paths. During the voyage through the voids between spiral arms, Jia Yan had doubted whether he had entered a region devoid of matter, but he was relieved to have finally arrived.

”It’s a pity that the true body cannot be here, but an avatar should suffice,” he mused.

Jia Yan’s body, of average human size, floated in the vacuum, greedily taking in the sights before him.

Then, he looked with some surprise at a spot not too far away.

His keen senses detected that thousands of kilometers away, there were some small spacecraft covertly collecting minerals.

”Earth people, hm? They can even mine here. It seems the situation is better than I expected,” Jia Yan said lightly, a faint smile on his lips after sensing these few ships.

Not long after, a vessel far more advanced and faster than those few ships, glided slowly toward them.

It was frightening that none of these spacecraft noticed the arrival of such a vessel!

At this moment, several thousand Earth people were on board these ships. Although they appeared quite miserable, they were, in fact, the elite among Earthlings, because, although more and more people from Earth were venturing into outer space, high-level talent was still needed for operations on the edge of the galaxy.

Jia Yan approached the vicinity of these ships. He had not deliberately activated his brainwave power, yet making his presence undetectable was simplistic, even aboard a Taian space cabin equipped with an advanced cloaking system that was far beyond the simple detection capabilities of the Earthlings’ spacecraft.

Having just arrived, he intercepted some news about Earth and the war through his brainwave power.

But he didn’t listen for long, as the situation was very much as he had expected. Fortunately, it was much better than his prediction that the Earthlings had lost the Earth.

The Earthlings had managed to defeat a minor vanguard attack by the Ru Lan Empire with their current equipment!

”Although the spacecraft haven’t advanced much since I left, their quality and quantity have increased quite a bit. It seems that, in these ten years, the Earth people haven’t been idle. Not bad.”

After hearing this news, Jia Yan’s avatar started up his space cabin and slowly drifted away.

He wasn’t worried about matters here. Previously, although he had only glimpsed it in passing, he vaguely remembered seeing a massive battleship not far from the Solar System. However, ”not far” by Jia Yan’s standards still took at least half a month for such a large battleship to arrive. He wasn’t concerned about them arriving early; if their technology was that advanced, Earth would have already been defeated.

Riding the space cabin, he continued toward Earth.

He was currently located in the belt of Écubier, on the edge of the Solar System. The place was rich in fragmented interstellar matter and an important resource gathering site for Earth people. The journey back to Earth would typically take several Earth crafts months or even a year or two, but for Jia Yan, despite his space cabin not being intended for passenger travel, its speed was such that even most of the ships from the Northern Star Domain couldn’t match it over such short distances.

However, Jia Yan didn’t directly hurry back to Earth but instead traveled slowly, revisiting the sceneries he had once seen...

The remnants of battle still existed on Neptune. Clearly, Earthlings had yet to reach this place; he lingered for a moment at the site in space where he had once fought.

An Earth person’s silhouette lingered above Neptune, gazing at the locations where the star space material was, observing scene after scene left behind from battles, then he gently flew, attempting once more to traverse the interstellar distances that he had once struggled to fly across, and then he shook his head.

What were once life-and-death distances for Jia Yan of the past were now distances his avatar could cross with a mere thought.

After that, he hesitated no more and set sail again.

Outside Jupiter, the shadow of Earth people became more prevalent, with several large base structures there, all rather rudimentary, but to Jia Yan, they were all refreshingly novel.

On Ganymede, the battle site had not been heavily damaged. The half-battleship that Jia Yan had struggled to destroy was still there.

However, Jia Yan realized as he flew closer alone that many scientists were conducting research on it, including an alien scientist from the Earth power that he had brought to Earth years ago.

And some astronauts were divided into groups, dismantling this half-battleship of the Auster Empire. A large number of small spacecraft were queuing up to load the materials disassembled from the battleship, transporting them to Ganymede. Yet their efficiency wasn’t high, and it would undoubtedly take a considerable amount of time to fully dismantle it.

Jia Yan watched the scene somewhat emotionally, especially the location of the damaged Earth battleships, and then shook his head and returned to the nearby space cabin.

Throughout these actions, not a single Earth person or alien scientist noticed his presence, even though Jia Yan had spent time near them, listening to their conversations for quite a while, and no one detected the arrival of his avatar!

This is the inherent gap in the essence of life, leaving Jia Yan somewhat uncertain what to feel. In the Sagittarius arm, although he was far from home, there were at least some beings with similar or even superior life levels. But coming to Earth, to this Orion Arm, it seems not so easy to find existences of the same level as his.

Perhaps this was what the powerful being who went to the Sagittarius arm thought back then. In the Orion Arm, there really was no chance for anyone strong.

Jia Yan didn’t think much about these matters. He simply looked back nostalgically at the places where he had once fought and at what Daphne called the communication base. These were the places he returned to observe.

And having done all this, it had taken less than a day. It showed just how fast the space cabin Jia Yan was riding in could travel.

Of course, this speed was mostly due to the effects of space distortion. Jia Yan’s vessel was the latest scientific achievement from the Northern Star Domain’s Taia, known for its technology. Its speed might well have been the top of the line in all of Taia.

Having looked at these places, Jia Yan finally turned his gaze to the place he would return to, Earth...

In the Universe Starry Sky, a tiny human figure slowly flew, followed by a small flying craft.

Before this figure was a massive blue celestial body, its blue color strikingly vivid. Even though he had seen many Life Stars, the sight of this celestial body still made him feel it was the most beautiful.

There is no place more beautiful than home.

”So beautiful,” Jia Yan’s avatar exclaimed nearly clapping with admiration at the scene before him, it truly was beautiful.

It wasn’t just the visual beauty. This beautiful sight almost cleansed Jia Yan’s soul. The bloodthirsty intent from fighting in Outer Star regions, in the Outer Realm, seemed to fade away in front of this beautiful scenery.

He slowly approached this beautiful planet, then the following space cabin automatically halted about a thousand kilometers from the celestial body.

Jia Yan did not want this high-tech item from an Outer Star to pollute the soil of Earth.

With a reverent heart, he flew towards the ground with his flesh and blood body.

Earth, this planet threatened by war, now had one existence returning in a changed state!

In the starry sky, a streak of meteor swept past.

No one noticed anything unusual about this meteor.

On the ground, the entire Earth was caught in a state of extreme tension at this moment.

The look of Earth, different from when Jia Yan had last mobilized, had changed over ten years. No longer the monotonous aftermath of metallic warfare, it had regained diversity, and in some areas, various industries had emerged.

This resplendent civilization seemed to have a resurgence of vigorous development after a few years of interruption.

And it was more civilized and rational than before.

Shops stood everywhere, the people were prosperous and at peace.

But the broadcast channels of war mobilization and the recruiting ads everywhere disrupted the calm of the entire planet.

Because the ten-year deadline was nearing, and following the previous vanguard troops’ assault, the humans on Earth once again felt the war’s approach, and this time, it was still a crisis of species extinction!

In a certain city on Earth, there was even more tension, for this city had a target the enemy would surely not overlook easily and might be the first to be attacked!

That was the Jia family, which the general Earth people were somewhat aware of.

In truth, many Earth people knew of Jia’s family’s existence, but very few understood their true identity and could recognize them.

Maybe because of some unpleasant past experiences, the people from Jia’s family, like ordinary civilians in the wilderness, hid themselves within the city.

This day, a group of eleven or twelve-year-old girls were walking along the path.

”Hehe, Jia Qi, your surname is Jia. Has anyone ever thought you were a member of the greatest family, Jia’s family?”

Walking along, one girl held another girl’s hand and asked curiously.

And the girl who was asked, though only eleven or twelve years old, had a delicate and exquisitely beautiful face. A faint baby fat graced her cheeks, making her already adorable look even more endearing.
