Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1122: Chapter 3 My Avatar! [1 Update]

”That’s good, then only the Space Research Institute is left, right...”

Jia Yan nodded and looked back at the Space Research Institute they had just left.

In a trance, his gaze seemed to no longer be fixed on that place, but through the giant ”Device” made there, he saw his avatar returning to the haunting Blue Planet...

Time passed swiftly, and the creation of the avatar and the construction of the spatial device had reached the final stage of completion.

At this moment, Jia Yan had become familiar with a large group of scientific researchers and slowly came to realize that the Bella species seemed to truly be descendants of Earth’s Lost People.

Through a few precious pieces of documentation, Jia Yan learned that the Bella clan and the Kuditang clan were originally of the same extraterrestrial Species. Initially, there was hardly any difference between them. But in this thriving Starfield, the Kuditang chose Technology and ventured further into the Starry Sky; over time, the differences between the two clans grew bigger. The Bella clan, though their journey combining Technology and the Path of the Strong Ones was difficult, steadily secured a position in the Northern Star Domain. In contrast, the Kuditang, after their heyday, had now almost completely vanished.

Jia Yan looked at the documentation of both Species in his hands with a bit of emotion. In his view, the difference between the two Species was truly not significant—the only difference being that the Bella clan practiced Cultivation while the Kuditang did not. If they underwent the same education for one or two generations, perhaps there would be no distinction at all.

”Lord, the avatar is ready.”

A voice communicated with Jia Yan through the communicator.

”Alright, I’ll come right over.”

Jia Yan nodded slightly and then closed the communication.

This was already the fiftieth day since arriving on the Burning Star, and the entire civil war of the Country of Taia had reached an exceedingly heated stage.

The challenge with the Giant Mosquito Fleet lied in the first step of gaining a foothold. But with Jia Yan’s Combat Power ensuring their safety, combined with Kama and Findley’s command capabilities, even if some crises emerged, Jia Yan’s Combat Power served as the ultimate trump card to turn the tables. After several such instances, leveraging both of their reputations, in the span of fifty days, the Giant Mosquito Fleet had finally occupied about one-fifth of the Star Space in the Taiya Star Domain, severing a vast expanse of the Starry Path in the North.

The Country of Taia had begun to fall into disarray. After all, a usurped national treasure could nearly shake its foundations when in turmoil.

In fact, the progression of a small country’s war can lead to quick victory or quick defeat. Of course, the current Taia Royal Family had many tricks up their sleeve—it was said that they were urgently reaching out to certain forces, seemingly ready to trade some benefits for their aid.

Jia Yan didn’t have much time to concern himself with the progress of the war; he was close to achieving his goal and was even willing to wash his hands of future matters!

His sole purpose was to return to that cerulean homeland, to see his family once again...

Hearing that the avatar was ready, Jia Yan’s form floated upward, his body imbued with High-tier star-level Energy, and he gently flew towards the heavens without a hint of mundanity.

The longer his strength grew, the more Jia Yan’s physique evolved from its formerly imposing dominance to a light and breezy presence. It seemed as if the old him unconsciously used his might to intimidate enemies, while the current him possessed an indifferent state of mind—such was the demeanor of a High-level Expert.

Jia Yan’s Power might not yet be at the Lord Level, but over fifty days of growth had allowed him to slowly digest his previous strength. The Light Shadow Monster had said more than once that he was a true Genius, asserting that even his Master’s resurrection couldn’t rival his abilities.

Jia Yan continued to fly, and now, by merely emitting a faint projection of his Brainwave Power, surrounding Strong Ones found it very hard to detect his presence. Even the Big Mosquito’s massive body flying overhead would almost certainly fail to notice.

His Power had not just grown slightly, but had seen an immense surge of growth!

”Lord!”

After a period of flight, Jia Yan arrived at a newly refurbished research facility.

As the Giant Mosquito Fleet occupied an increasingly vast range of the Starfield and had access to more and more resources, the state of the research facilities on the Burning Star improved accordingly. It was not only the Space Research Institute Jia Yan cared for, but other research facilities benefited from more resources as well. After all, the elements of scientific research can’t be resolved by just one or two institutes—some achievements require the support of an entire industry.

Fortunately, the Burning Star was already a developed science and research star, and now, supported by the highly influential Jia Yan, its scientific industrial development was unprecedented. In just a few years’ time, it’s conceivable that it could become a super-large-scale research star rivalling Taia Star.

But present thoughts were the furthest thing from Jia Yan’s mind.

He flew down, where an elder with graying hair waited on the ground. Seeing Jia Yan descending, the elder promptly approached with respectful deference.

As a scientific scholar, he wasn’t ordinarily so focused on power, but Jia Yan had provided not just past status but also extended all conveniences to the researcher, making his reverence for Jia Yan all the greater.

”You’re saying the avatar has already been successfully created, right? Let’s go take a look.” Jia Yan didn’t bother with pleasantries since the other was just talking big anyway, and would fiercely argue with Jia Yan if they really encountered a problem in scientific research.

Both of them moved forward together, with the scientific researchers along the way showing utmost respect to Jia Yan.

Arriving at a place that seemed to have been re-equipped with some machinery, the elderly man with graying hair pressed an identity verification button, and afterwards, a heavy iron door slowly opened.

The gate was extremely tall, allowing even Jia Yan to enter with ease.

And behind the iron gate, beams of radiance shone down on the ground, as if this light had life of its own, nurturing everything under its glow.

Jia Yan and the Einstein-like elder entered the gate, the iron door behind them closing. They went straight into this place of research.

Inside, several researchers hurried back and forth, showing no surprise at Jia Yan’s arrival, as this Great Mosquito visited almost every other day; if he didn’t, that would actually be strange.

In fact, the researchers here had come to understand Jia Yan’s request; it seemed that the leader and strong one soon to take control of the Country of Taia wanted to create an avatar of himself, but the size of this avatar was beyond their expectations. Instead of demanding a powerful form, he insisted on limiting the avatar’s size to fit within a container that seemed quite small to them.

Now, this very body lay at the center of the hall.

He was a young man with the appearance of the Hu Clan, his body now naked, his dark hair floating strand by strand.

His entire body was submerged in the container, enshrouded by layers of strange liquid, with odd devices currently weaving through his form, as if to pierce it with countless holes.

Jia Yan looked at this body, his steps seemingly hesitant. Facing countless battleships, facing invincible strong ones, his footsteps never wavered, yet now they seemed difficult to move, taking seven or eight steps before he reached the front of the container and looked inside. To him, this human body was merely the size of a compound eye.

”Is this... my avatar?”

Jia Yan gazed reflectively at the human body within the container. The face resembled his own from before rebirth, but since he had been reborn for so long, Jia Yan had forgotten much of his former appearance. Therefore, the face of this body was about seventy to eighty percent similar to his old self, with the remaining two to three parts somewhat unfamiliar.

Not particularly handsome, but there was a sense of the same dignity he had while being a Big Mosquito—calm and imposing.

”Lord, this avatar was made according to your specifications... are you not satisfied?” The elder next to him looked somewhat uneasy. They had expended countless efforts for this avatar, and if Jia Yan casually expressed dissatisfaction and asked them to start over, he might just lose his temper.

”Dissatisfied? No, no, I’m very satisfied, couldn’t be more satisfied!” Jia Yan was taken aback by the question, but hastily shook his head.

To be honest, even though this body wasn’t exactly like his pre-rebirth self, one could make out that it was the same person, only with a more imposing presence and an inexplicable sense of maturity. Jia Yan couldn’t be dissatisfied.

”Good, Lord. So, do you wish to activate it right away? Forgive my frankness, the activation of a typical avatar would greatly reduce an expert’s strength, and since this body is custom-made by you, the difficulty of activation is even more formidable. I suspect that with your strength, after activation, you will fall into a weakness that could last half a month,” explained the gray-haired elder.

”Jia Yan, don’t worry. His calculations are based on general high-level experts. Your stamina and strength are far beyond his predictions. I’ve examined the blueprint of this avatar here, and although it is quite primitive, it won’t greatly affect your power.”

”Of course, there will be some weakness, but it will merely reduce your strength to what it was two months ago, at most. I estimate that you could fully recover in about half a day!”

The Light Shadow Monster within Jia Yan’s body spoke directly to him.

”Half a day, huh? Heh, if I am weak, that being will probably seize the opportunity to appear, right? Just right, it’s time to settle this period’s grudges!”

After thinking it over, Jia Yan stated this with conviction!

”Let’s activate the avatar now!”

Upon hearing Jia Yan’s words, the gray-haired elder nodded without any surprise, having already anticipated Jia Yan’s expectations for the avatar. Jia Yan’s eagerness to activate it was completely within his expectations.

”Well then, Lord, please familiarize yourself with the rules for activating the avatar first. This avatar is about to serve as a vessel for a strand of your Brainwave Power. Shortly, you will need to use a large amount of your Brainwave Power to activate this body.”

”This body has been equipped with our ultra-long-distance quantum entanglement communication technology, which allows you to control him even from extremely far distances. Of course, this involves some metaphysics, some of it old technology passed down from the Northern Star Domain, which even we have been unable to decipher. You just need to understand the basic principle, Lord.”

”Thank you to ’6-minute Enthusiasm’ reader for the 2000 Starty Coin reward!”
