Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1108: Chapter 39: Jia Yan, Arrives! [First Update]

A reporter, taking advantage of the high-altitude position at this moment, stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows at the conference venue, reporting on the scene below. It was obvious that this reporter harbored an extreme hatred towards the Bella clan.

”In light of their uprising, I suggest that we in the Northern Star Domain enact legislation to completely reclassify the Bella clan as an inferior species.”

Racial rhetoric at this moment seemed to have no concealment at all, as numerous reporters and hosts relentlessly denigrated the Bella clan. Starting tomorrow, although the Bella clan would still be one of the many species in the Northern Star Domain, they would no longer have a noble among them. The exiled Princess Kama had given up her status and identity. Once the peace treaty was signed, the entire Bella clan would be without status, equivalent to slaves.

Hearing these reporters’ words, some angry fugitive soldiers furiously attacked them. Though the reporters generally had powerful guard squads and while some were indeed attacked, the majority managed to escape disaster.

The whole scene became even more chaotic.

Jia Yan, watching the events outside, had no intention to act at this moment, as it wasn’t time for him to step out yet. Although these fugitive soldiers might become his subordinates in the future, he couldn’t concern himself with their lives now. Jia Yan needed a complete understanding of the external situation before he could strike fully and effectively.

”No rush. The full strength of this planet is not something I can deal with at present. I can only make my move under the right circumstances, which would be most fitting,” Jia Yan thought as he used his Brainwave Power and heat detection ability to continuously scout his surroundings.

”Kill!”

”Wipe out this group of Bella clan.”

The whole fight turned into a chaotic fray; even the ordinary members of the Bella clan who were observing became targets for wanton killing.

”Damn it, you’re killing commoners too, this is a racial massacre!”

A wave of piteous screams and frantic cries echoed around the building. If nothing unexpected happened, this battle could likely lead to a massive loss of life for the Bella clan on Dragon Bell Star.

At this moment, Jia Yan felt an unusual fluctuation. His Compound Eyes flickered slightly as he shifted his focus to the skies.

That was where beings of the Star-level Existence were waging their slaughter.

But at this time, a frightening entity burst out from a building below. It was a High-Level Star-Space Strongman, with raging intent, launching a strike at a Bella clan’s Low-Tier Starry Sky soldier in the sky.

”This is Star-Space Level...” Jia Yan’s eyes flickered. A subordinate of the Starry Sky level was truly hard to find; each loss was significant to him, and he barely restrained the urge to intervene for the rescue.

Without his rescue, the Bella soldier targeted by the High-Level Star-Space Strongman couldn’t possibly escape the calamity.

Then, at this moment, a Middle Level Star-Space Existence flew in from a distant place.

”Stop!” This being surprisingly emitted a female voice. She held a weapon resembling a firearm and aimed it at the High-Level Star-Space Existence, firing a shot.

That High-Level Star-Space Existence certainly didn’t expect that someone capable of opposing him would appear from the ranks of the fugitive soldiers. Caught off-guard, he was shot directly and smashed into the middle part of the conference building, causing a thunderous resonance.

Fortunately, the material of the building was exceptional, and this strike did not cause it to collapse.

The appearance of this Middle Level Star-Space Existence sent shockwaves throughout the battlefield.

On one hand, no one expected that among the fugitive soldiers would exist a Star-Space Intermediate Level being. Notably, in the Country of Taia, there might not be many individuals at this level throughout the entire nation, and as for High-Space Level beings, Taia had perhaps only three in total.

Now, a Middle Level being had appeared, and using Taia’s advanced weaponry, she overwhelmed the higher-tier opponent, causing great astonishment across the battlefield.

Jia Yan was also somewhat startled. The female being of the Starry Sky level who had just appeared was the Bella clan woman he had encountered the previous night. He had thought she had no connection with Taia, but now it seemed she was another fugitive soldier of Taia.

”Duchess! She is the Duchess!” an exiled soldier exclaimed with joy.

Upon hearing this, Jia Yan understood. This woman was a relative of Kama.

Kama had told him that during her last battle, the true commander of her troops was the wife of Kama’s uncle. She had entrusted the fleet’s command to Kama, who had just graduated from the academy back then, resulting in a crushing defeat, and the Duchess had vanished without a trace.

It must have taken great efforts for her and her daughter to hide on this planet. Unexpectedly, she had still made an appearance.

”Hmph, a mere Middle Level Star-Space person!”

The High-level Expert who was struck into the building by the female Starry Sky Strong roared as he burst forth.

Being a High-level Expert, he had merely been startled by her sudden appearance and had not been seriously injured. Now he roared as he shot out from the breach in the building, zipping toward the woman.

As for the Middle Level female expert, she had no intention of fighting the adversary. Her expression grave, she quickly retreated. Now that she had the enhancement of the technological weapon, she could muster some resistance against an average High-Level Expert, a far cry from the helplessness she exhibited in front of Jia Yan. She narrowly evaded the High-level Expert’s strike and then looked around the ground on both sides.

Her expression seemed to be searching for something.

Yet she didn’t find what she was looking for, and the High-level Star Space Existence from behind launched another attack.

”Mister Jia Yan!”

She narrowly dodged the adversary’s attack once more, letting out a cry that shocked the people around her.

What was she yelling?

She was actually calling for Jia Yan!

One by one, creatures who were clueless about the situation shifted their gaze to the azure creature in the live broadcast.

Those who were privy to some insider information, however, suddenly had their expressions change drastically!

Those who were unaware might think this female Bella clan member was calling out to the being who was in the process of signing a contract, but those who understood the truth, or at least had some inkling, now felt a chilling sensation deep in their hearts!

Could it really be that the legendary figure, clad in deep blue, unmatched in bravery, even capable of slaying Lord Level beings, had actually come here?

And that not a single person was aware of his arrival?

At this moment, the monster strongmen each shrank their heads a bit.

A person’s reputation could cast a long shadow, and regardless of whether Jia Yan’s strength truly matched that of Lord Level combatants, he had killed a Lord Level enemy live on media, witnessed by countless people. His incredibly mysterious combat abilities, together with his terrifying aura, made none of the present beings feel confident they could withstand an attack from Jia Yan!

Could Jia Yan truly have come here in person?

Thinking about it, it did seem possible. His fleet was currently barred from entering the defensive perimeter of Dragon Bell Star, but why couldn’t he himself come alone?

However, this was an audacious move. Dragon Bell Star might not be described as a dragon den or tiger’s den, but it surely was a place of immense danger for any High-ranking Star Space Existence, Jia Yan included!

”What are you ranting about? Distracting me won’t extend your life!”

The high-tier monster assaulting the female strongman was startled as well. After realizing his lapse, his expression chilled, and he snorted coldly before launching a direct attack at the female Bella warrior.

”That Jia Yan, to say nothing of his unlikely appearance, even if he does show up, I will make him regret it. Does he think he is invincible among high-tier combatants just because he outwitted a Lord?”

The monster growled viciously, but the deformation in his attack betrayed the panic within him. Jia Yan’s strength was solidly proven in media, and although the monster did not believe an opponent could overcome a higher tier, he clearly understood that Jia Yan’s power could easily dominate him, doubting he could last even thirty moves against him.

His current ferocity reflected the state of his mind, and the female fighter managed to dodge two consecutive attacks.

”Lord Jia Yan!” she continued to shout, addressing the ’Jia Yan’ whose presence was uncertain, ”I have sent people to deploy a Signal Disruptor and a Brainwave Power Blocker nearby. Your appearance here will remain undetected by that Lord Level strongman, and you won’t be harmed by any advanced technological weaponry. Please, show yourself!”

”Still spouting nonsense, even if you’ve blocked the signals, someone who won’t appear will stay absent. Die!”

The high-tier monster seemed to sneer as he launched an even more violent attack on the female fighter.

Even his strike hit the Armor she wore, shattering a large portion of its scales and causing the female fighter to spurt blood.

”Impossible to appear?”

The female fighter’s eyes showed a trace of mockery. Though her face was stained with blood, she was utterly convinced.

For she had seen this legendary being with her own eyes just the day before.

And had felt the true terror of his presence!

She knew that his strength was perhaps even more frightening than the rumors suggested, which was why the Duchess, who had wished to live out her days quietly with her daughter, was now present here.

She could not die – her daughter was waiting for her to return.

”Lord Jia Yan! I am a relative of Princess Kama, and I hope you can lend us your aid!” she cried out loud.

Then, another attack landed on her body, the Armor, made of unknown material, saving her once again, but this attack extinguished the glowing light it bore completely. The strong sense of defense that was once there vanished in an instant!

”Humph, no more turtle shell, is it? Die!”

Seeing the female fighter’s defensive power greatly reduced, the high-tier monster had a flash of murderous intent.

”Respected lady, as you wish...”

”Jia Yan, come forth!”

Just then, a voice carrying the sound of the wind, slowly arose, lightly echoing beside the high-tier monster.
