Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1126: Chapter 7: True Body and Avatar Jointly! [1 update]

He finally obtained an avatar!

At this moment, Jia Yan felt extremely peculiar. Although he was still engaged in battle with the Smoke Monster, his avatar below, slowly walking and perceiving the world, felt very similar to himself before his rebirth.

Of course, the strength of this avatar was nothing like that of an ordinary young Earth person before his rebirth. Jia Yan felt the similarities were merely metaphorical.

Moreover, the similarities weren’t limited to human feelings. The deliberate use of Bella clan’s flesh and bone by the research institute personnel made them profoundly similar to Earth people, or rather, except for having a true body and far surpassing the strength of Earth people, this avatar of Jia Yan was almost indistinguishable from a typical Earth person.

Jia Yan raised his fist and fiercely struck the air in front of him!

Boom!!!!

Everything before his eyes seemed as if heaven and earth were collapsing, the ground beneath reacted like an unseen giant cannon had ripped and destroyed everything before his fist.

”Hmm?”

The Smoke Powerhouse above sensed the disturbance below. Since he had been engaging Jia Yan for a while, he noticed that the Giant Mosquito Monster in front of him showed no sign of retreating, even though it was clearly weaker. At this moment, he started to get anxious.

Yet feeling the disturbance below, the monster glanced downward and his eyes lit up.

It was a figure resembling a Bella clan male, whose appearance was entirely different from Jia Yan’s, but he could tell in a glance that this was Jia Yan’s avatar, since a strong being’s energy could not be concealed from another strong being’s eyes.

”Hmph, you place so much importance on this avatar, I will kill it directly!”

The Smoke Monster didn’t understand how Jia Yan could be so strong, but he did understand the principle that destroying something his opponent valued could have an unexpected effect.

At this moment, the monster forcefully broke away from Jia Yan’s hold and lunged fiercely toward Jia Yan’s avatar below!

Just then, the expression on the Jia Yan below, who looked like an Earth person, became grave.

He was actually one person with two consciousnesses. The moment his true body above failed to entangle the opponent, his avatar below realized that the powerful being from above was about to arrive!

”Old man, you mentioned that this avatar’s strength is about half of my true body’s, right?” he asked indifferently.

”Yes... but the strength of this avatar will only decrease further and cannot be regained through cultivation,” the white-haired elder who had just gotten up from the ground replied somewhat blankly, not understanding the meaning behind Jia Yan’s question.

”That’s good. Otherwise, it would really be troublesome.”

As soon as the human ’Jia Yan’ finished his cryptic words,

he suddenly moved his feet!

He shot into the sky!

Boom!!!

Beneath the ground, a terrifying shockwave suddenly shook heaven and earth, and within this shockwave, the tiny figure fiercely soared into the sky, almost invisible except to the mightiest beings who could faintly catch a glimpse of him.

And right above him in the sky, the thunderous Smoke Powerhouse, with his gigantic two-hundred-meter body, vastly larger than the one-meter-seventy avatar, also arrived!

The pursuing Giant Mosquito’s True Body was unable to catch up and fell behind by about a hundred meters.

”Seeking death!” The Smoke Monster, seeing Jia Yan’s newly condensed avatar daring to charge directly at him, felt a surge of fury. Knowing that an avatar’s strength was generally not as strong as the true body’s, and Jia Yan’s true body couldn’t even defeat him, what more this avatar charging at him? Wasn’t this seeking death?!

Was Jia Yan seeking death?

Not at all!

Although he knew using the avatar to attack was risky, there was no other option at this moment—without fighting, there was only death!

The one-meter-seventy stature was very unsuited for Jia Yan, and the fast-approaching two-hundred-meter monster, in the eyes of the avatar, seemed like a giant building harshly slamming down on him.

”Open for me!”

As the power of Jia Yan’s avatar spread throughout his body, a faint bluish color shimmered through. His fists even faintly took on an unbelievably bluish hue!

The avatar indeed had the Bluish Defense characteristic of Jia Yan’s true body!

This was actually to be expected, as the energy infused into it came from Jia Yan himself. Moreover, an avatar was essentially material created by infusing a strong being’s powerful energy. Without the infusion of a strong being’s energy, a powerful avatar couldn’t simply appear; otherwise, the Country of Taia would not be confined to a corner of the Northern Star Domain, but a much stronger nation.

Jia Yan’s avatar could maintain its form and attain its current strength precisely because of the energy storage from his true body. The technology and energy science involved was not something that could be explained in just a few words. In any case, the avatar now also possessed a hint of the true body’s powerful characteristics, and no more explanation was needed.

It was this Bluish Defense that gave Jia Yan the confidence to use this avatar to battle the Smoke Powerhouse!

Boom!!!

The large and small bodies collided fiercely.

The Smoke Monster felt a considerable force the moment it collided, transmitted through what appeared to be an ant-sized avatar and directly to the foot it had extended. The monster was immediately shocked.

”Impossible! His avatar is so strong?!”

Fortunately, although the avatar initially felt strong, it was still not the real body. After the initial shock wore off, the monster realized that due to its small size and lack of energy, it couldn’t possibly withstand his strength. It was blown away by his power in just about 0.02 seconds!

Puh!

Jia Yan’s avatar even spat out a mouthful of hot blood mid-air.

”Don’t think of pursuing!”

Just then, Jia Yan’s real body also took advantage of the delay caused by the avatar and reached behind the Smoke Monster, launching an attack!

Two massive beings clashed again in the air!

”Hmph! Did you underestimate this avatar?”

The thrashed avatar of Jia Yan wobbled; wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, a trace of human blood was removed. Even in the midst of battle, this small detail touched him—it was a reminder that he still had human blood in him. He then moved into action again.

The tiny figure went below ground where armor was already laid out.

It turned out that when Jia Yan and his team considered using an avatar, they had thought about its combat abilities and had customized a special armor for it. The avatar’s small stature made the armor simple to craft, and the materials used were of excellent quality—this was the armor laid out here now.

The armor was retrieved by an old man with white hair, who retrieved it from a laboratory underground—since it had no energy shield of a strong character, it couldn’t resist the residual impacts of the combatants’ power by itself.

”Thank you.” Jia Yan’s avatar approached the armor, and with a gentle press at a specific spot on the armor, it seemingly came to life and directly attached to his body.

The old man also held an extremely long weapon, about thirty meters long, similar to Jia Yan’s foreleg. He now laid it on the ground.

Jia Yan’s avatar quickly stepped forward, picked up the lengthy weapon, and awkwardly lifted it.

With this spear-like foreleg weapon, his combat power was enhanced.

To be honest, Jia Yan was still not very familiar with controlling his avatar, but as it was, there was no other choice—the major battle was right in front of them. The avatar’s combat abilities were somewhat comparable to a top-level high-ranked expert, and it was solely under Jia Yan’s control, proving a significant advantage. With no other option available, he had to proceed.

Boom!

The avatar charged directly towards the centerpoint of the battle between the two mighty monsters!

”Hmph! You dare to send this avatar to its death? Then let it die!” the Smoke Monster coldly snorted in anger from above.

He couldn’t believe that a seemingly easy battle had turned this way. Although at this moment, both Jia Yan’s real body and his avatar were being heavily suppressed by him, he still couldn’t finish off his opponent!

Boom Boom!

Taking advantage of the moment when the Big Mosquito clashed with the Smoke Monster, the human-like avatar moved like a small bug hiding at the side!

Lifting the massive spear in its hand, it thrust forward, imitating the motion of the forelegs of its real body.

The Smoke Monster was about to react, but suddenly found the Giant Mosquito gripping its body for a moment.

Puh!

The spear, imbued with the avatar’s brainwave power, directly pierced the back of the Smoke Monster, leaving a slight wound.

Though it was only a superficial wound, the monster felt its body shake in an instant!

”Poison!?”

A sharp panic struck its heart, followed by a powerful sense of crisis, compelling it to exert unprecedented strength and move instantly!

Although the poison from the Light Shadow Monster was fearsome, given that the opponent was a strong secondary powerhouse, the Smoke Monster only felt its body wobble instantly. If Jia Yan had been of the same rank, or even a Lord Level being, he might have seized the opportunity. However, Jia Yan wasn’t yet a Dignitary, and even though his combat abilities had surpassed those of a typical Dignitary, he still wasn’t one and thus fell short of seizing the exact moment in combat.

Just as Jia Yan’s real body was about to launch an attack, he saw a whiff of smoke dash past.

The Smoke Monster suddenly moved, disappearing from Jia Yan’s sight.

Its smoke seemed to possess a space-like mobility ability, though not as strong as Jia Yan’s shuttle combat skills learned from the Light Shadow Monster—this time it only moved about a thousand meters before reappearing.

After reappearing, the Smoke Monster gave a cold glance at Jia Yan and the human avatar, then hesitated for a moment before turning into smoke again...

Several times morphing into smoke, it came beside its battleship, and with a swift motion, it boarded.

Then, without any hesitation, the battleship flashed and soared into the sky.

The Smoke Monster chose not to display any signs of defeat and directly fled!
