Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1116: Chapter 47 Declaration of War! [First Release]

For Big Mosquito’s strength, Kama could be considered to have a say, as she had watched the other increase from mid-tier to high-tier, and that had only taken a little more than a year. Generally speaking, ordinary creatures that want to advance to Lord Level at least need several decades or even a century of accumulation.

But Jia Yan was about to advance?

”No, it should not be an advancement, but it must be a huge breakthrough!” Kama thought somewhat confidently.

Jia Yan indeed was not advancing; at this moment, he disregarded everything around him, and he had no mind to care about the vibrations of the entire fleet.

At this moment, his understanding of life had seemingly led him to see through certain things, about himself, about the whole fleet, and about the definition of the Strong Ones.

”This kid, to be able to achieve a breakthrough in this way, though not breaking through to the level of a Lord, it’s still a big step forward, isn’t it?” The Light Shadow Monster inside Jia Yan felt the power of his breakthrough and was immensely gratified.

Not long after, the fluctuation on Jia Yan’s body came to a halt.

”What just happened to me?” Jia Yan felt his body and then sensed a trace of astonishment.

”You broke through, and what’s more, it’s a breakthrough into a new understanding of True Energy. True Energy, to put it simply, is a deeper understanding of Brainwave Power, and to break through the confines of Brainwave Power means an even deeper change. You’ve already begun to comprehend the prelude to this transformation,” the Light Shadow Monster said to Jia Yan, emanating Brainwave Power.

”Hmm? This is the breakthrough for the further transformation of True Energy!” Jia Yan rejoiced in his heart. As a disciple under the tutelage of the Light Shadow Monster, he had long known that to advance to Lord Level, one must break through even deeper barriers of Brainwave Power. Eventually, Brainwave Power is not just brainwave force but an understanding and insight into the universe itself, otherwise, it would be impossible to reach Lord Level. And now, his understanding of Brainwave Power was much deeper, meaning he was not far from Lord Level!

”I also feel that I’m only a thin barrier away from Lord Level, possibly breaking through at any moment! When that happens, my combat power will see a huge increase. It’s well-known that the power of Lord Level and high-tier star-level is worlds apart.”

Jia Yan felt both surprised and justified by this breakthrough. After all, he had previously felt on the verge of a breakthrough, and for an entity as fast-advancing as himself, the fact that it took so long for another breakthrough seemed slow.

Of course, if other Strong Ones saw his growth trajectory, they’d all be astounded; his breakthrough speed after reaching star level would drop jaws among the so-called Strong Ones and geniuses.

”Alright, although my strength has not reached Lord, it is still greatly enhanced. With this, I also have some methods to deal with that Lord following behind us!”

Jia Yan slowly stood up.

The whole fleet thought that Jia Yan was simply letting Kama and the others figure out the details of the battle, but what they didn’t know was that Jia Yan was also calculating another possibly bigger crisis lurking behind them.

That secondary powerhouse had been following the Giant Mosquito Fleet from the early stages, and although the detection system hadn’t found him, Jia Yan understood that the other was tailing them.

Perhaps the Giant Mosquito Fleet itself couldn’t have much of an impact on this powerhouse, but knowing Jia Yan’s strength, he wouldn’t show up to capture Jia Yan without certainty, otherwise, it would just let Jia Yan escape again like before.

After reaching the strength of a Strong One, the way of thinking changes. This powerhouse was not thinking of exterminating Jia Yan’s forces but rather letting the Giant Mosquito Fleet exist to hold Jia Yan down. Otherwise, if Jia Yan were to flee alone, it would be even harder to catch him in the vast Northern Star Domain.

In the starry sky area behind the Giant Mosquito Fleet, a warship enveloped in wisps of smoke was slowly pursuing.

”Large fluctuations ahead? Is there something wrong with the warship detection system? Or could it be that the Giant Mosquito Fleet is in a drill?”

The Smoke Monster doubted the alarm on the detector, but at the moment, he had no further ideas, for the strength of a Strong One was absolute in the universe. His power was an insurmountable threshold for the entire Giant Mosquito Fleet. Even if he knew the fleet had the Overwhelming Tactics, he didn’t think that a group strategy could pose any threat to him.

He hadn’t at all considered that this was Jia Yan advancing. He had collected Jia Yan’s data and knew that Jia Yan’s power had only advanced not long ago, so it was impossible for another advancement to take place. He even thought that Jia Yan’s advanced power not being stable yet was normal.

”It seems this Jia Yan’s fleet really intends to attack the Country of Taia. However, this doesn’t concern me. I can support Taia covertly. As long as I make Jia Yan personally battle and exhaust his strength, then I will have the chance to capture him!”

”The secret of Advancement to Eternal Star Rank must be mine!”

...

The Monster chasing from behind had no idea that Jia Yan, ahead of them, had already become aware of its pursuit. It simply followed the Giant Mosquito Fleet at a distance.

The fluctuations of the fleet were somehow passed off to the soldiers as something else, while Jia Yan merely explained the situation to Kama and the other high-ranking officials. Upon learning of Jia Yan’s breakthrough in strength, the members were both surprised and shocked. They had already known that Jia Yan possessed exceptional talent, but they had not expected his talent to be so heaven-defying. However, as the strongest in the fleet, his increase in power was nothing but beneficial for the Giant Mosquito Fleet. It might even play a decisive role in the imminent war!

Soon, three days had passed.

”Lord, a fleet recently purchased by the Taia Nation from external forces will soon pass through this starry sky area. Although the battleships are fully manned, the weapons and equipment are new to them, so their combat power is likely not strong. We’ve decided to attack them while simultaneously declaring war on Taia Nation!”

Findley was having this conversation with Jia Yan aboard the Camp-Level Spaceship.

”Alright, proceed as you see fit. However, I won’t be too involved in this battle, as I need to be on guard against another presence. I hope you can win,” replied Jia Yan with a nod.

”Another presence?” Findley looked at Jia Yan with some surprise. Seeing that he didn’t say anything more, she simply nodded. ”Initially, we didn’t plan to involve you in this battle, after all. You’re our last resort.”

When the communication ended, Jia Yan just slowly crept along the metallic floor of the Camp-Level Spaceship. The breakthrough was immense, yet his body hadn’t grown significantly, so the floor space was still sufficient for his use.

He continued to sense the presence behind him. Jia Yan didn’t know if his talent for heat perception had mutated with the increase in his strength, but at that moment, he could faintly feel something beyond the reach of the warship’s detection system.

Two million kilometers behind the fleet, at the outer edge of the Warship Detection System’s range, a battleship silently lurking there also emitted faint traces of a strong sense, tracking the fleet.

”The strength of this Secondary Powerhouse is truly unfathomable. I don’t know if I can contend with him now,” Jia Yan felt a heaviness as he sensed this powerful individual.

”Jia Yan, never underestimate his strength. Each Lord and Secondary Powerhouse is not to be taken lightly. Their talents may not match yours, but they are also geniuses born with extraordinary gifts. Some Strong Ones exhibit immense power under specific conditions, while others become formidable in certain terrains. If you underestimate these Strong Ones, you will suffer. Take this fellow, for example, I knew he was not to be trifled with when I encountered him before. His strength is probably of the smoke variety. See those traces of smoke around the fleet? That’s likely his tracking ability.”

”This kind of power can seem fantastical to ordinary Strong Ones, and the same is true for you. Most of your previous battles have been against common foes. You’ve had few encounters with such abstract abilities as this one’s. Be very cautious when fighting him. Escape if you can. Often, such powerful individuals can be extremely dangerous.”

The Light Shadow Monster offered Jia Yan further guidance.

”I will,” Jia Yan responded, nodding while keeping an eye on the rear.

Jia Yan wasn’t particularly invested in the imminent combat facing the fleet. With his power greatly enhanced, he felt that the fleet no longer posed much of a threat to him. Whether you called him practical or overconfident, Jia Yan didn’t particularly care for things that weren’t of much help to him. Moreover, from the beginning, he never really cared about the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

What mattered to him was his power! If not for the fact that Taia Nation possessed potentially valuable assets, he wouldn’t bother helping Kama regain the throne.

On the other side, Kama and the other fleet leaders had a different attitude altogether. It was an extremely tense time for everyone in the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

Having the stabilizing presence of Jia Yan aboard, akin to a ’Sea-Calming Needle,’ kept the morale of the entire fleet steady.

Before long, a fleet of about two hundred battleships appeared on the radar.

”They’ve appeared!”

Kama watched the approaching fleet, taking a deep breath.

Simultaneously, Kama’s face went live on the media channels that had been contacted.

”Dear viewers, hello! I am Bella Kama, a legitimate royal member of the Taia Nation!”

”I will take a moment of your time, and I believe you all are aware of the tragic history of My Taia Nation. The violent reign of the Tian Wu clan has reached my ears during my exile. Today, after careful consideration, the Giant Mosquito Fleet has decided to raise the banner to help the people!”

”I, Bella Kama, hereby declare—from this moment on, the Giant Mosquito Fleet is at war with the current regime of Taia Nation!”

Kama’s eyes shone like stars as she declared this earth-shattering news to the cameras of the media.
