Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 343: Chapter 28 - You Want to Fight, Then Fight! [Outbreak 2/3]_1

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

I wonder if they had some sense of detection in them, those buildings!

Right when Jia Yan had flown a short distance out of Shanghai City!

Two massive red rays tore through the distant sky, shooting towards his location!

At this moment, Jia Yan was flying more than a thousand meters off the ground.

His speed now, too, was hovering around the speed of sound.

The moment those two red rays appeared, Jia Yan’s sensory organs monstrously retaliated, warning him of incoming danger!

His body had a natural reaction at this moment!

Call it instinct, but it was something Jia Yan could control. The moment he thought of evading to the left, his body instantly moved there with such breathtaking speed that even he could barely keep up!

This dodge was made by using his wings and brainwave power to achieve maximum speed. Jia Yan discovered this method of moving after cautious trial and error, and with repeated use, it had become instinctual. This instinctual evasion was vastly superior compared to his desperate dodge of the two red rays a few days ago on the ground!

It was a leap, an absolute leap in quality!

In fact, at this moment, Jia Yan moved almost horizontally, violating the laws of physics as he evaded to one side!

And at this very moment!

Whoosh, whoosh!

The two rays passed him by, nearly brushing against his body as they shot off to one side!

These two rays were so quiet that if he hadn’t been paying attention, Jia Yan might have been hit straight on and possibly even hurt!

But, Jia Yan managed to evade them!

Soon, red rays burst and illuminated the sky from multiple directions!

”Well done! Could it be that these guys knew I was about to attack their base, which is why they’re going mad all of a sudden!”

In Jia Yan’s compound eyes, there pulsed a strong excitement!

If these metal monsters were really so wary of him, then it would mean his threat level in their eyes was no less than that of Daphne’s!

Daphne had indeed been directly driven away!

And Jia Yan?!

In his recent battles, he had finally realized that he might not be as far behind Daphne as he had originally thought.

”Daphne was driven off by you guys, but I won’t be dismissed that easily!”

”Now I finally understand why these metal monsters rank my threat level as equivalent to Daphne. It’s because my combat power now is definitely stronger than hers! Hell, if she doesn’t resort to using her robust equipment, I might even be able to kill her!”

Jia Yan had truly understood these matters.

He recognized he was a powerful creature!

Before, he had thought Daphne didn’t take his power into consideration, but in reality, he had underestimated himself. Had Daphne not valued his strength, she wouldn’t have used her power to bring Jia Yan to Neptune to assist her in the battle.

Furthermore, he had evolved yet again, granting him an even more powerful brainwave ability! His combat power was enhanced more than once or twice, it was an understatement!

Now that the metal monsters valued him so highly, Jia Yan naturally wouldn’t let them down!

”You want battle, then battle it is!”

An energy surged inside him. He had just arrived from the universe, not even having had a chance to see the small village, and yet this was how they welcomed him. How could he not repay their enthusiasm with a wild battle?!

At this time, Jia Yan directly felt that there was an inexplicable power within his body, a power that had been suppressed, and of course he had some grievances. Now he would retaliate!

”Good! Your attacks, although intense, have also revealed your locations!”

Jia Yan’s body sidestepped, last time he had found that using Brainwave Power to aid in dodging increased the flexibility of his body—there had definitely been a significant improvement!

As he sidestepped, a red beam of light more than half a meter in diameter suddenly passed by his body, shooting toward the sky!

The eyes of the Big Mosquito lit up even brighter!

He saw that about a hundred kilometers away from Shanghai City, there was a red light firing at him. Obviously, there should be a building of the Metal Monster!

The body of the Giant Mosquito moved!

Just like a shooting star, it began to fly rapidly toward that location under its own dazzling light!

After being attacked by the red beam of light several times, even a clay figurine would become angry, let alone Jia Yan!

He wanted revenge!

And it was an attack on the Metal Monster’s building!

Anyway, the plan he thought of in space was to attack the Metal Monster’s building once. Now that he had just come down from the universe with great effort, although both Brainwave Power and physical strength had been consumed to some extent, he believed that he was still capable of a fight!

The important thing was, he had been driven to this point, there was no reason not to fight!

”It has pushed me too far, now I have no choice but to fight!”

In the compound eyes of Jia Yan, a dazzling light flickered. His greatest reliance was the flight mode that used Brainwave Power to dodge attacks. This mode consumed a lot of Brainwave Power, but it was still manageable to perform in the short term!

”Report! As soon as the Big Mosquito emerged from Shanghai City, it was attacked by the Red Light of the metal monsters!”

”How could this be! What’s the situation in the battle? Was the Giant Mosquito injured?!”

”No, the combat power of the Giant Mosquito is too amazing. It completely dodged those red beams of light, and at this moment, it is flying toward a stronghold of the Metal Monsters in Suzhou. We think it wants to attack one of the bases that emit red light! We would like to ask, what should we do?”

”This...what can we do?! No! You quickly order ten fighter jets to take off and assist the Giant Mosquito in battle. Listen! Do not attack head-on. If the battle turns unfavorable, retreat immediately. Understand?”

”Understood!”

As Jia Yan flew toward a building of the Metal Monsters that was emitting red light, the above conversation was taking place in the Huaxia military camp he had just left.

After all, Jia Yan had just handed over five things that could be of great use to humans. Now that the Giant mosquito monster was suddenly in danger, as the human side, who although had not made a verbal promise but had practically formed an alliance, it would be unsporting to not take some action!

And the military higher-ups were not fools. They all knew that the Giant Mosquito was incredibly powerful and definitely not a fool. If he didn’t have a certain degree of assurance, why would he go to attack the lair of the Metal Monsters?

So, not long after, ten fully-armed ’Fighter 7s’, led by a ’Fighter 20’, flew toward Suzhou where the Giant Mosquito was headed.

The pilots of these jets had all participated in numerous actual battles in this war, but under these circumstances, they all looked somewhat troubled.

That was a Red Light Building of the Metal Monsters!

They had suffered from similar situations before. There were human fighter jets that had attacked the lairs of the Metal Monsters, but they often ended up failing or even dying under the precise red light of the Red Light Building, unable to even retreat!

Compared to the red light that the Metal Monsters fired, the red light from those buildings was not only more precise, but its power was also much greater!

One fighter jet only needed to be hit by one red beam. If they were alone, wiping them out would be easy!

”Everyone, perk up! Didn’t the commander just say that we are only going there as a show of force? If the Big Mosquito fails, we retreat, if he wins, we help out. Everyone, be flexible, okay?”

The veteran pilot leading the jets on the Fighter 20, transmitted loudly to his subordinates! (To be continued. If you like this work, please vote for it on qidian.com, your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please read on m.qidian.com.)
