[Subscription Requested] _1 The metal monsters moved!

Abandoning Fan Haofei, who was already surrounded, likened to a hero facing twilight, fully prepared to go down with the metal monsters!

Afterwards, those metal monsters, their gun barrels glowed with a strange red light, marched in orderly steps, hurriedly charging in the direction where the Giant Mosquito had vanished!

Ka-chak!

Ka-chak!

Ka-chak!!——

Ka-chak!

Ka-chak!

Ka-chak!

Ka-chak!!——

At the same time, similar sounds could be heard uniformly across all the battlefields of this ruined city!

All the metal monsters had started to move!

They gave up their impending victory!

Tens of thousands of metal monsters, as if under a unified command or sharing a mutual understanding, they knew their most formidable enemy and their top priority had appeared in front of them!

One after another, in uniform strides, they charged in the direction where the blaze had vanished, looking like creatures facing a mighty adversary, charging in the direction where the Giant Mosquito flew!

Not only on the battlefield of Shanghai City!

In the outskirts of Shanghai City, the metal monsters attacking small villages and human gathering spots, all changed targets with the appearance of this super-giant creature in the sky, streaking across the horizon, reminding one of a shooting star in the night!

They all gave up their initial targets!

They charged in the direction where the creature was flying!

For a moment, countless lives were saved as a result.

In Shanghai city, Fan Haofei, still holding his smoked cigarette, stared blankly at the departing metal monsters.

This young man, couldn’t possibly know that the super creature flying in the sky once lived along with him, even sharing several nights!

There are the people at the command center.

Even more are the soldiers on the ground and the masses of people!

All these people were saved due to this event!

In one of the gathering spots, a figure of an extremely beautiful woman was among them, watching the Giant Mosquito fly, a tear appeared at the corner of her eye…

As the metal monsters that had surrounded and were about to launch red beams towards these people instead turned their attention towards the Giant Mosquito and charged in its direction immediately upon its appearance in the sky!

This stunningly beautiful woman, watching the metal monsters retreat, broke into a rare smile.

If the Giant Mosquito were to see her, perhaps it might be struck by her beauty too.

Ding Li Meng.

So many lives, those he did or did not know, all were saved because of the appearance of the Giant Mosquito!

However, none of those involved knew of this!

The only thing he cared about was the safety of his own family!

Dronn!!————————

The Giant Mosquito was flying proudly in the sky!

“It still feels best to fly in the air!”

The Giant Mosquito looked down at everything below.

The familiar ground.

Breathing the familiar air, and using his own wings to fly in the sky.

All these made him feel physically and mentally blissful!

Yes!

This super-giant mosquito coming from the sky was indeed Jia Yan!

After a day of travelling, the spacecraft passed the orbit of the moon an hour earlier!

The spacecraft then triggered an unprecedentedly loud alarm!

Jia Yan finally began to decelerate, but still, he nearly crashed headlong into the Earth’s atmosphere due to failing to control the spacecraft’s inertia!

After all, apart from the control stick, he had no idea how to use other things like auxiliary brakes, so this danger was within expectation!

Fortunately, he hit the brakes hard and managed to stop the spacecraft at a distance of over two hundred kilometers from Earth!

To be precise, there was already within the range of Earth’s gravitational force and the ‘outer layer’ of the atmosphere, very close to Earth!

Moreover, the location he stopped at was right above Huaxia!

Jia Yan quickly left the spacecraft alone.

He had no intent of piloting the spacecraft to the ground!

If he were to get too close, even Daphne’s ship would be forced to depart from the Earth due to the red beams emitted by the Metal Monsters.

His dilapidated spacecraft could only meet the fate of being reduced to rubble.

Had he ventured out himself, one could easily imagine the scene that would have unfolded!

Jia Yan mastered control over his body, traversing through the Universe, and then through the isothermal layer approximately fifty kilometers above the Earth’s surface.

Despite being in the isothermal layer, he did not halt his course even slightly, instead maintaining the momentum which allowed him to swift through the atmosphere.

His whole body seemed like a huge fireball, transforming into a meteor rocketing into the Earth!

Therefore, practically everyone witnessed the arrogant entry of this Giant Mosquito!

Incredibly domineering, incredibly breathtaking!

It seemed as if he was proclaiming that as the Giant Mosquito, he had returned to Earth!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!!!

Jia Yan was flapping his wings, seemingly unaffected by air resistance!

The ambient sound was filled with the swishing of air triggered by his flapping— it seemed as though for him, the entire Earth had lost all gravitational force!

He even unknowingly tapped into his Brainwave Powers.

At times, he noticed he could fly in the air without needing to flap his wings!

“Does this really feel like Earth?

Have I become so powerful that at this moment, I can’t even feel the constraints of gravity?”

Jia Yan flew at a high speed towards a small hillside village over a hundred kilometers from Shanghai City!

His speed wasn’t as simple as before!

He was just ‘slowly’ flying for now, as in the meantime.

He still needed to gradually adapt to his flying method.

After all, he hadn’t experienced aerial flight for quite a few months.

Along with his experience of mutation in the Universe, coming back to Earth, he still needed a period of time to adjust.

Yet his speed, unaware of his own efforts, had already broken past limits previously deemed impossible to breach!

It was like he was bringing the inertia of descending from the sky, breaking over eight times the speed of sound!

A sound so loud, it seemed like it was roaring through the atmosphere!

A distance of over a hundred kilometers was covered almost instantaneously by the Giant Mosquito!

His body hovered around two hundred kilometers above the ground, looking at the devastated scenery below!

The village was still located in the same place, but compared to the village he remembered, numerous houses had been added!

However, even more critical was the scene of Metal Monsters carrying out destructions relentlessly in the houses!

Human corpses were scattered all over the ground.

Some people were hiding in nearby bushes, setting traps for the Metal Monsters and battling over there!

Jia Yan had the ability to see infrared!

Hence, he had a clear sight of the distribution of humans below!

However, he couldn’t spot his parents anywhere in the village!

What was below was a battlefield where humans were fighting against small groups of Metal Monsters!

The massive battlefield here was only caused by over a hundred Metal Monsters.

Their ferocity had almost turned the entire village into ruins!

Red lights persistently attacked!

The ground was a total mess!

Wooden houses were continually burning, some were even swaying and collapsing.

Faced with the assault of Metal Monsters, these simple houses couldn’t even withstand a single beam of red light.

“Mommy!

I need to pee!”

In the basement of a house, the six-year-old son of the house owner was pulling his mother’s arm, sobbing.

They had been hiding in the basement for nearly a day!

Earlier, the house owner had taken his weapon.

After several exchanges of fire with the Metal Monsters, he died in the basement passageway, with his body effectively protecting his family.

The Metal Monsters had not disturbed his corpse, and the mother and son had gotten a layer of protection from it too.

The son, still young and unaware of the severity of the situation, had spoken even after being warned not to!

A Metal Monster looking for survivors in the ruins had heard the child’s voice.

Like a cat that smelt blood, it suddenly turned towards his direction and stopped.

“Don’t speak, darling.” The woman immediately covered her son’s mouth, looking at her dead husband up there.

Her tears kept falling, but she remembered the promise she made to her husband before his death – to raise their young son.

So she held back her tears from making a sound.
