Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 340: Chapter 25 The Big Mosquito Descending from the Sky?! [Requesting Official Subscription]_1

Jia Yan, having thought of this, now had a better understanding of whether or not he would be attacked by the red light during his descent.

”Go!”

Using his brainwave powers, he controlled the five machines, commanding them to follow him closely and fly downward!

Heat!

The temperature began to rise.

The warm layer itself was quite hot, and as Jia Yan gradually sped up, he began to experience friction with the atmosphere, his body seemed to have become a heat-release device with an incredibly high temperature!

He began to use his brainwave power to continuously slow down the falling speed of his body!

However, controlling his own body while also managing five metal machines that were almost as heavy as he was, proved extremely taxing on his brainwave powers!

The surrounding temperature started to rise rapidly!

The warm layer was quickly broken through!

Boom boom boom boom!!!!

The air was capable of producing sound, and the surrounding area was engulfed in flames. Jia Yan’s entire field of vision was dominated by fire.

He was rapidly descending.

The machines also began to emit flames. If they were not alien combat machines with extremely robust construction and defense, they might have been destroyed in this friction.

Jia Yan’s body also began to feel an intense burning sensation!

He almost felt like he was turning into charcoal!

However, having already experienced this once, he was not as panicked as before!

He trusted his exoskeleton defense, which could prevent most of the combat damage, he was sure these frictional flames couldn’t harm him in the slightest!

However, Jia planned to struggle a little at this time, not because his heat resistance had reached its limit, but because controlling those five machines with his brainwave power, while trying to keep them near him, was becoming increasingly difficult, so his brainwave power was strained!

The five machines were violently shaking at this point because their angles of friction with the Earth’s atmosphere varied, so the direction in which they wanted to scatter due to resistance was also different. It was clearly more difficult for Jia Yan to force them to stay together!

Boom boom boom boom boom boom!!!!!

If people on the ground looked up at the sky, they would see a massive ball of fire descending rapidly towards the earth!

It was burning extremely and keen observers would notice that its descent was noticeably slower than most meteorites!

Moreover, in the sky, the direction of the fall was subtly adjusting, as if someone was controlling it!

That’s right! The Big Mosquito in the fire, even amidst the raging flames, was using his brainwave power to make slight adjustments to its falling direction!

Although the speed was still very fast, after Jia Yan experienced an initial period of discomfort, he finally found a way to adjust the angle of his falling body to the optimal position!

Boom boom boom boom boom!!!!!-

The sound of burning flames constantly echoed in his ears, but Jia Yan this time had no worries, his compound eyes were sparkling during the fall!

He was like a sovereign overlooking his realm, probing the world during his descent!

What a comfortable feeling this sense of exhilaration was!

The ground was getting closer and closer, and at this time, Jia Yan saw the cities on the ground getting closer and closer, and more and more humans!

Each of these humans was looking in awe at this ’meteorite’, but they didn’t know that the Extraterrestrial visitor they were intently watching, was actually the Giant Mosquito Monster that had penetrated the sky and space a few days ago!

Jia Yan’s body quickly flew past a huge building in the sky!

”The building of the Metal Monster! It’s indeed extremely large, each building is three or four hundred meters tall, right? How terrifying! In such a short time, so many huge buildings were built. But no matter how powerful they are, I’ll come over and attempt an attack later!”

Jia Yan quickly passed over a super-tall building on the ground. Because his speed was too fast, or this building really did not have any defenses against outer space visitors, there was no reaction from the other party when Jia Yan flew over their heads!

Jia Yan continued forward.

In a short amount of time, he had pierced through hundreds of meters of atmosphere and approached the ground!

On the ground, a vast city appeared before Jia Yan!

This city had suffered heavily from the war, and many refugees and destitute people who were still staying here, were all looking for refuge in what was touted as the safest place in the world.

Some people relied on government relief to survive, while others managed to secure jobs within the remnants of government institutions, managing to revive the semblance of ordinary life that was once prevalent, yet now is extremely rare to come by.

Among these people, there was one who might have left an impression on Jia Yan.

Zhang Shiming was tidying his clothes, as a newcomer who had only worked in a government unit for just over two months, the biggest reason he was able to stay in the entity was his previous research on the system of that Big Mosquito.

Now, he no longer boasted. Even though there was only one Giant Mosquito, deep down, he still had extreme confidence in this prospect.

”I’m leaving for work, stay safe at home, the outside world has been a bit unstable recently.” He prepared himself, picked up the documents he had prepared the night before, and was ready to leave.

At this time, a woman was in the simplicity of his home. She was a beautiful girl. With her soft, long hair, delicate, exquisite face and graceful features; she was inherently beautiful.

Even among former movie stars, she could be regarded as a beautiful woman!

Jia Yan wouldn’t find this girl unfamiliar, or rather, she was an existence even more familiar to Jia Yan!

She was Ye Tongyu!

”I understand. You too, pay attention to your safety while you’re at work!”

The girl smiled and nodded to Zhang Shiming.

Zhang Shiming also smiled faintly, then left.

So, they ended up together?

The answer is wrong!

Both of them seemed oblivious, even amidst such a disaster, they were still confused about emotional matters. They’ve relied on each other during difficult times in these past six months. Their relationship far exceeded that of an ordinary man and woman. They’ve endured even some terrifying experiences together, ones a married couple would hardly go through. Yet, they have always been together, helping each other.

However, there was still one final challenge they had yet to cross.

Watching Zhang Shiming’s departure, Ye Tongyu smiled! Maybe they both understood, some things are better left to unfold naturally!

They encountered each other by chance, and afterward, due to the Giant Mosquito, they became intertwined. What proceeded, was a war, seemingly the end of times, where they’ve fought together. Their relationship has exceeded that of ordinary friends!

Now they still live together!

Just as Ye Tongyu was about to take the clothes to the balcony for washing!

It seemed like there was suddenly an additional sun in the sky!

A massive fireball, seething with a burning surge, was rapidly hurtling toward the city!

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!!!!!! ——

A meteoric object was racing, its speed terrifyingly fast and its momentum horrifying. Nobody doubted that if a building were to be hit by this meteor, it would instantaneously crumble down into rubble!

This meteor seemed to be directly targeted at the house inhabited by Ye Tongyu and Zhang Shiming!

The fiery light grew closer, it was even revealing the object it was enveloping gradually!

Seeing the rapidly approaching object, Ye Tongyu’s heart was filled with terror!

She was even scared to the point of dropping the clothes in her hands. Her fingertips, slightly frostbitten from washing the clothes, looked exceedingly pale in the moment!

But the fiery light showed no mercy. It directed itself towards her house!

”Ah!”

Ye Tongyu let out a scream, watching the scene before her eyes in horror.

Then, she encountered a scene which she would probably never forget for her entire life!

The fiery light, a moment before reaching the house!

Suddenly saw a drastic deceleration in its threatening speed!

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!!!!!! ——

A few objects which were revealed from the fireball due to a sudden decrease in speed then materialized their true form!

A giant... mosquito?!

This sight made the terrified girl’s eyes grow wide!

The Giant Mosquito appeared to emerge from the meteor-like flames, appearing like an otherworldly heavenly soldier descending from the sky. Its massive form even overshadowed the building below!
