Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 337: Chapter 22 Three Goals! [Please Subscribe to the Official Version]_1

How could this not astonish and even terrify the observers?!

Over two hundred kilometers from Earth!

Although this place can still be considered within the Earth’s atmosphere, it is definitely not a place that ordinary aircraft can reach!

That is space!

Even though the Big Mosquito’s silhouette disappeared entirely at this moment, they were no longer surprised by anything it did because its actions had already astonished them beyond measure.

A giant mosquito, incredibly, had flown to the outermost layer of the atmosphere on the strength of its own physical constitution!

And judging by its demeanor, if it hadn’t suddenly disappeared, even flying directly into the vacuum of space wouldn’t have been impossible!

Such a situation left the observers dumbstruck; it felt like they were dreaming. Earth’s aircraft, intending to fly into space, required a vast amount of energy each time, and if they failed, it would be a huge blow to the economy.

Yet this Big Mosquito just casually ascended, as if it was as simple as taking a trip to the restroom!

Let’s not even talk about how it could survive in the cosmos or endure those tremendous temperature differences. The mere fact that it had swiftly flown into space completely unhindered under the attack of red beams was already beyond human comprehension!

Moreover, in the outer space more than two hundred kilometers away, it was a completely airless area. Any creature that relies on wing expansion to fly, in such a region, shouldn’t be able to fly at all. But in reality, these people didn’t understand why the Big Mosquito maintained a terrifying flight speed in a place where its wings couldn’t possibly function!

How on Earth did it do that?!

No scientist could possibly explain it!

This once again provoked a commotion!

The fact that the Big Mosquito is a ’cosmic creature’ seemed settled, but its latest feat even surpassed the impact of it being an extraterrestrial life form, causing a huge uproar!

Can it fly in amorphous cosmic space with its physical body?! Is this something that cosmic creatures can do?!

At any rate, it violates the principles of biology and even science!

Humans couldn’t understand this, but at this time, Jia Yan didn’t care about them at all; He just dove into his own aircraft!

Even him, after continuously flying for such a long time, was beginning to feel fatigued!

After all, this was a confrontation with the Earth’s gravity, from the surface to space.

This process was evidently not that simple. Jia Yan found that he had expended a great deal of his physical strength. The physical energy that he had painstakingly recuperated on the ground was almost completely used up.

He walked into the open space within the aircraft. This was where Jia Yan had always practiced his cultivation. He had spent more time inside this aircraft than anywhere else in the past.

He brought out his reserved supplies. These supplies were gotten from the cosmos, among which primarily were machines that were deemed useless in the cosmos due to the impact of the explosions during the civilization battles.

Some of these machines still had a very intact appearance.

Jia Yan arrived here, took out all of his supplies and examined them one by one.

Afterward, he sorted through these items, selecting some and setting them aside.

These things were no longer of great use to him, but seemed to have some benefit for Earth’s technology!

So Jia Yan directly took them out, perhaps, in the future, these items could be given to some kind of research institute on Earth. They might even be able to develop some powerful weapons.

If this got out, people might think Jia Yan was being too good to humanity. But at this time, Jia Yan believed that his combat power was not enough to face all the Metal Monsters!

Not to mention, there were still the so-called reconnaissance ships to deal with. If Earth people could enhance their combat power, his pressure would be slightly reduced!

After all, when he was battling the Metal Monsters on Earth, the main reason was to protect his family. For this purpose, even a certain level of cooperation with Earth people was acceptable.

”However, this is only one of the reasons for me to be here. There’s a lot more I can do here!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes glowed mysteriously. His gaze was fixed on the control panel.

What he was thinking about at this time was to explore more functions of the spacecraft, or some secrets. After all, he had been operating this machine for a while and had a good understanding of its basic functions. If there was ever a good time to probe its functions, it would be now!

Jia Yan paced towards the spacecraft’s control lever. Due to his remote control, the area had begun emitting light and the panel displayed some letters he couldn’t comprehend. They were continuously flickering.

Over the days, Jia Yan realized that these letters represented the real-time status of the spacecraft. However, he couldn’t understand a word, so it had been no help to him previously.

But now he planned to understand all the information it was displaying.

At this moment, Big Mosquito had its own thoughts. It started the spacecraft!

After the spacecraft started, it began to move slowly!

In the boundless space, the spacecraft operated by Jia Yan, first jetted a faint blue flame from the rear and then flew away from Earth.

If any Earth people saw the speed of the spacecraft at this moment, they would certainly feel that the alien spacecraft was not moving so fast and didn’t seem impressive!

However, what they didn’t know was that this speed was just the launching speed, and the spacecraft flown by Jia Yan is specifically designed for flying. If they knew the spacecraft could ultimately accelerate to a speed of over a million kilometers per hour, they would definitely drop their jaws!

Jia Yan did not think so much though. He just felt that this place was within the detection range of Earth people. Revealing too much might invite unnecessary exposure. Although he didn’t mind being known to possess a spaceship, it was better not to expose it if he didn’t have to!

Given the capabilities of his spacecraft, leaving the detection range of Earth was extremely easy!

The view of Earth in the rear was quickly receding as the spacecraft started to accelerate!

”Let’s go near the moon... I can evade human detection there while also leveraging the moon for some evasive practice!”

Jia Yan operated the spacecraft towards the moon!

Due to several months of operation, he was already a pro at flying via the control lever.

While flying towards the moon, as soon as the speed of the spacecraft began to accelerate, Jia Yan noticed that the giant celestial body in the distance was growing larger before his eyes!

They were getting closer!

It took less than an hour.

”That was really fast!” Jia Yan quickly operated the spacecraft to slow down and stop above the moon.

The spacecraft remained stably suspended above the moon.

”The first objective I had when I returned to the spacecraft was to see if I could fly from Earth to space. I’ve achieved that.”

”The second was to do what I’d previously done - dismantle and reassemble a few combat units to bring them back to Earth for research. If they could be developed into something that could fight the Metal Monsters, that would fulfill my objective.”

”The third and most important objective is to try and operate the spacecraft more proficiently! If I can unlock more functions, that would be great!”

The plan that Jia Yan was contemplating was to risk taking the spacecraft to the Earth’s surface to carry his family to safety in case they couldn’t stay on Earth.

But that was a last resort. Unless absolutely necessary, he didn’t want to take that risk.

However, training for the spacecraft operation was now pressing! He couldn’t wait any longer!

From his battles with the metal monsters on the ground, he realized that the mining machines weren’t too threatening in their combat strength. But their numbers were overwhelming, and with the frightening red light assisting them, Jia Yan wasn’t confident of protecting his family against their attacks!

Further, the threat from the reconnaissance ships in the future really gave him a headache. These threats were getting stronger by the day. If it weren’t for his family being here, he would have left Earth immediately and hidden somewhere he could live! (To be continued.
