Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3939  Locating Them

To the west of the Great Desolate Plains was the Magical Beast Wildlands. From there, one can head southwest and get out of the Magical Beast Wildlands. A short distance away was the Metenoa Family territory, so the messaging talisman Davis robbed from Autarch Metenoa and shared with Captain Praezen connected.

”Praezen, is everything alright?”

”Legion Master! I have heard about your feats. It is indeed good to hear your voice!”

Davis could hear Captain Praezenʼs overzealous tone, which caused him to smile. To be honest, even he couldnʼt believe that he got rid of over forty Empyreans and Autarchs and managed to enslave two of them. Right now, he was keeping them within his life ring.

He cast a karmic veil on them already. His skill in casting a karmic veil wasnʼt great, but since the two Death Puppets were dead, they lacked a solid karmic connection. It was slowly fading away from the world, so it was difficult to locate. At the same time, divining their location was dangerous since they were directly enslaved by him.

They would lose a lot of Mystic Diviners again if they were to try, as it is basically the same as divining his location and might still fail to accurately pinpoint.

Thatʼs why he guessed he still wasnʼt found. The fact that there was no one in the Great Desolate Plains also told him Clara hadnʼt revealed the exact location even if she revealed he could be in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, so he wasnʼt worried too much.

”Yes, yes.” Captain Praezen was absolutely hyped, ”Everything is alright. Reporting to Legion Master, Autarch Metenoa has not taken any actions that would go against us.”

”Thatʼs enough. Iʼll hear the rest from you directly.”

Davis chuckled.

It was possible that their transmission line could be spied on as this was a long-range talisman, so not many words needed to be said.

”Understood. Iʼll be faithfully awaiting your arrival.”

The messaging talisman lost its light, and Davis looked into the distance.

”Letʼs go.”

He said, and their party rode a flying boat of the Low-Level Empyrean Grade, again, one of many he stole from the kills he made in the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm.

Quickly, Davisʼs group arrived at the Metenoa Family territory, and they were taken covertly by Captain Praezen.

In a palace, Davis sat on a throne, and in front of him was Autarch Metenoa, maintaining a submissive posture as he kept his head lowered, not daring to look at him.

By now, Autarch Metenoa fully understood who this man was.

The Divine Emperor of Death. The entirety of Heavenʼs Warriors chased him, but he managed to kill over forty of them and lived to tell the tale, sitting right before him. He would be afraid if it was forty Heavenʼs Warriors who were Immortal Emperors and Sovereigns, much less Empyreans and Autarchs.

This was absolutely ridiculous to him, not knowing how he got caught by such a Realm Class Calamity and became a slave.

”Metenoa, are you done creating the hidden intelligence network I told you to make?”

Davis inquired in a cold tone.

”Yes, master.”

Autarch Metenoa nodded, his voice slightly hoarse, ”I have created an intelligence network under a fake identity and managed to buy a lot of slaves to house the network. They will faithfully gather any information you need, master.”

”Good.” Davis nodded, ”Mingzhi, you can take over.”

Mingzhi nodded. Fortunately, she had a lot of experience setting up an intelligence network and hiring people, as she had created Black Claymore, so taking over would not be very difficult.

She stepped forward and waved her hand, listing a few things that needed to be done in order to cover their tracks. At the same time, she ordered to collect information on a lone Fire Phoenix and Ice Phoenix or even twins. Similarly, she also ordered to search for the auction house for the rabbit, but that information seemed to have already been obtained by Captain Praezen since it concerned the Divine Emperor of Death.

”Opulent Shell Company Auction… southwest…”

Davis saw the map and noted that it was on the way. However, the auction wouldnʼt start until twenty-four days later, so he didnʼt think going now would be of any help. Besides, if the Lunar Blackclaw Rabbit was taken away, it would surely cause a stir.

Everyone would know he was in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, so he planned to rescue her later and leave this realm, going back to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary.

Soon, the information that Mingzhi asked about Flamerose and Frostrose also came up, as other intelligence organizations seemed to have already collected it. Apparently, an Ice Phoenix and Fire Phoenix were spotted in the Earth Dragon Border Town right here in this Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, causing Davis to blink.

ʼNo way… they also came looking for me here?ʼ

He was delighted that Flamerose and Frostrose managed to reunite somehow. However, one must understand that the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm is a hot zone right now. Perhaps Clara revealed the information that he mightʼve had a hideout here, causing the Heavenʼs Warriors to frantically search this realm. There was also the fact that their combined divinations made this realm quite the central part of their perimeter.

Most expected him to appear here and not in the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm.

This was also what managed to stop Autarch Elluro Coldwing from quickly intervening, as he probably stayed here before using some crazy method to reach the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm swiftly. Of course, there was also the fact that two Divergents delayed Autarch Elluro Coldwing, but Davis had no idea of that, so he assumed the distance saved him.

Nevertheless, if Flamerose and Frostrose were here, things would become easier for him.

He didnʼt need to traverse so many realms as the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm was as much as three realms away from here. He was glad he made Autarch Metenoa put up an intelligence network, sparing him so much work.

Shirley was also overjoyed.

She looked at Davis, unable to conceal her smile as she couldnʼt wait to be reunited with her inheritance masters. They also had their memories back, and they werenʼt in a competitive zone like the Candidacy, so she couldnʼt wait to pay her respects to them.

”Where were they last spotted exactly?” Shirley asked, her tone eager.

Captain Praezen replied, ”Three towns to the north of the Earth Dragon Border Town. This information was just collected yesterday, so itʼs possible they mightʼve already crossed a lot of distance if they arenʼt staying there. However, we also got information saying that the Eternal Twilight Lower Realmʼs realm officials are onto them as they have been recognized as inheritors of the First Haven World.”

”Theyʼre being chased?” Shirleyʼs gaze flickered as she turned to look at Davis, ”Darling, letʼs go save them right now.”

”As you wish, my love.”

Davis stood up from the throne and walked past Autarch Metenoa as the others followed him.

Autarch Metenoa trembled, not knowing what was about to ensue. It couldnʼt be that another forty Empyreans and Autarchs were going to die, right?
