Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3912  Autarch Elluroʼs Sweep

Autarch Elluro Coldwingʼs gaze was cold.

He indifferently said, ”Two powerful Divergents blocked me, and instead of fighting me, they used dishonest means to trap me in darkness perpetually. It had no power to harm me but was an extremely confusing maze. It was obvious their intentions were to delay me, so they were most likely from the Heavenly Blight Hall. What about the other Divergents you spoke about?”

”Are they from the Heavenly Blight Hall too?” He asked, narrowing his eyes as this was too alarming.

There were too many Divergents suddenly popping out of nowhere. Even if they did, it wouldnʼt be the case of friendly interaction between them, much less teaming up together. The world would suffer with each strike they unleash, bringing calamity after calamity that would end a realm easily.

For them to be teaming up was no joke. He imagined that they had to investigate more into this from top to bottom.

”No, that didnʼt seem to be the case.” Empyrean Miller Skyrend weakly shook his head, ”Their methods were entirely different as they kept their powers to a minimum and didnʼt reveal too much of their techniques. Their intentions were to solely rescue the prisoners, and once they did, they left. Despite the damage they caused, the casualties were minor in number. However, we have a new powerful Anarchic Divergent. His power is even more ridiculous as it could counter your Mandate Laws.”

”I heard.”

Autarch Elluro Coldwing looked solemn.

It seemed like they could no longer focus their search on the Divine Emperor of Death but extend their search perimeter to other characters in various realms.

”Can you prepare more Mystic Diviners to locate their general region?”

”Haha…” Empyrean Miller Skyrend weakly laughed, ”Over sixty Mystic Diviners gave their life to track down the general area of the Divine Emperor of Death. I donʼt know how I can answer to their families with this failure, but you want me to get more of them on the death row?”

”If thatʼs what it takes to end evil.”

”…”

Autarch Elluro Coldwing and Autarch Empyrean Miller Skyrend looked at each other, their values clashing. The latter sighed, thinking the other party was a heaven-bestowed ruler alright. He wished that little girl who was still young wouldnʼt become heartless like that, but such was the fate of those who were said to be born with that physique.

”Letʼs not get ahead of ourselves.” He scoffed, coughing some minor particles of blood and looking away, ”I heard that the Divine Emperor of Death went through the Heavenly Water Tribulation. Does it even make sense? How is he evil and gets that?”

”Isnʼt that obvious? He has a physique or a treasure similar to the Karmic Seizer Physique that plunders karmic nature. The death-attributed treasure he used also seemed to be different than a normal treasure that I suspect it is a…”

Autarch Elluro Coldwing sealed everyoneʼs ears with his power and moved his lips, ”… a Primeval Law Treasure.”

”What!?”

Empyrean Miller Skyrend practically jumped out of his bed and landed on the ground. He groaned in pain as his body ached. Still, he quickly got up and looked at Autarch Elluro Coldwing with wide, dead eyes.

”You do realize if he had such a treasure, then we all wouldnʼt even be alive.”

Autarch Elluro Coldwing shook his head, ”Of course, Iʼm not saying that he has a Primeval Law Treasure but just a fragment of it. It is possible to use a fragment to unleash its power one time, as there were many cases of treasures without limits in the past. These are some secrets that I only know because I have access to the records of my organization in the Upper Realm. In this day and age, those treasures are practically impossible to find, but since he could use them repeatedly, I suspect that it is a treasure forged from it.”

”Still, donʼt you realize such a treasure would instantly use up an Immortal Kingʼs energy and leave them with nothing but a husk that will blow away into ashes under the weakest breeze?”

”Thatʼs what Iʼm unsure of. It makes no sense he was able to use such a treasure. Perhaps, it is due to his ridiculous anarchic soul physique that he is able to endure the backlash.”

”Could be but to cross two stages and fight peak Empyreans and Autarchs? That would be frightening…”

Empyrean Miller Skyrend shuddered.

He still couldnʼt forget being encased in all death. He had never feared his odds or feared death, but today, he was finally shown the true meaning of death. It was as though the death energy rejected the very reality of his existence, trying to erase it from the inside out.

They discussed further, but they didnʼt know what kind of Primeval Law Treasures there were other than their existence vaguely, as it was something heavily burdened by karma. Only Empyrean-level existences would be able to remember their names after learning about them a long time ago, but even then, they were unaware of the treasures.

”Indeed. If he survived his tribulation, then he wouldʼve defeated the Supreme One as well. Thatʼs far more terrifying… now I finally understand why the Celestial Transcendent personally named him...” Autarch Elluro Coldwing displayed a hint of disappointment, as though he was extremely disappointed in himself for being unable to fulfill that personʼs request.

”…!”

Empyrean Miller Skyrend looked at Autarch Elluro Coldwing in shock as he received a grim soul transmission.

The Divine Emperor of Death faced the Celestial Transcendent?

No mortal could even see his descent. He heard almost all beings except Divergents and Heavenʼs Warriors would collapse under his supreme presence in an anarchic tribulation! However, his presence meant that the Divine Emperor of Death surpassed the twelve Paragon Magical Beasts. It would be extremely difficult for him to survive the Celestial Transcendentʼs onslaught, but he completed it quickly and even escaped?

His expression sank, and the fear of that death energy imprinted on him returned like a dark monster, causing him to fall to his butt with invisible explosions in his mind refusing to let him think.

”Chances are that we may not be able to defeat him ourselves, but if the Supreme One is on his way, we might have a chance. Our forces are still searching without any success. The realm officials are also conducting a realm-wide search, but thereʼs a possibility they would not, as they would want to save their realm from further calamity. If we miss this chance, we may miss him for the next few millenniums or more entirely, so stand up. We still need your knowledge and influence even if youʼre crippled.”

”…”

Hearing Autarch Elluro Coldwingʼs words imbued with charisma and undeniable authority, Empyrean Miller Skyrend was able to reclaim himself.

”Yes, Your Highness.” He cupped his hands and strode out of the room.

Their discussion ended without anything being decided on. They commanded the realm officials to help search using all their resources. However, they went to look for Clara as she had finally woken up.

She was their only clue about the Divine Emperor of Deathʼs whereabouts! She was also the only one they could rely on right now as there was little possibility for a heaven-bestowed ruler to betray them!
