Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3935  Readying For Departure

Soaren nodded and pumped his fist into the air in response.

”Of course. We told you back then we are willing to become the same as you, a Divergent. That doesnʼt change now or ever. It could be said weʼre trading strength to losing the right to live under the clear sky, but since even my own clan wants me dead and treats you, a good brother who cares about people, like an evil plague, Iʼll gladly oblige to become a Divergent again and again. Hahaha!”

Soaren laughed out loud, appearing fully delighted.

”Youʼre an Anarchic Divergent right now. Just donʼt go berserk as you will cause too much damage to your surroundings.” Davis chuckled, ”Now that you are a variant Infernal Sunfire Crow with annihilative heavenly yang added to your flames, what kind of name are you going to come up with?”

”Oh? A name…”

Soaren lowered his head and thought with his hand on his chin. However, he was silent for a long time before spreading his hands.

”Well, I canʼt think of a good one. Since youʼre the one who created this variant, why donʼt you name it?”

”I donʼt want to.” Davis shook his head.

”No, you should.”

”Fine. How about Goldturd Infernal Crow?”

”Pfft!~” Stella incessantly giggled by the side.

”Fine, Iʼll name the variance myself.”

Soaren looked away, not understanding why he even bothered to ask, as he saw Davis suppress a burst of laughter after making a joke. It seemed like his brother didnʼt want to name it to avoid some kind of karmic burden— at least, that was what he thought.

Indeed, Davis wanted to avoid racial karmic burden. If Nadiaʼs race can be suppressed, so can the other races. Even if not now, he didnʼt want to implicate any of his brothers or their new races. Other than creating them, he wanted no credit since taking credit would also mean taking responsibility.

”Stella, since youʼre here, I assume the mini-realm is ready for teleportation?” Davis turned to look at Stella and asked.

”Indeed.” Stella nodded, ”The mini-realm is complete. All thatʼs left is for it to recalibrate with the spatial coordinates with the other mini realm, and the teleportation will be ready in two or three hours.”

Davis smiled, thinking that was fast. His yang essence really did aid her a lot, making him feel good about himself before he turned to look back at Soaren.

”Sit tight. Iʼll make your bloodline reach King Tier.”

”You can do that too?” Soaren raised his brows, ”Uh, I guess you can…”

He remembered all the beauties around Davis and saw even the maid was Emperor-Tier, so he guessed Davis must have a method to increase the tier. He didnʼt ask much and trusted his brother to do what was needed. He sat down and closed his eyes.

”Itʼs going to be comfortable initially, so donʼt moan, but as the process goes on, itʼs going to be excruciatingly painful.”

Davis warned.

”I wonʼt release a single sound.” Soaren calmly declared.

Just like that, Soaren didnʼt release a single groan. He endured the whole process of refining his heart from the inside out.

Davis could see that his brotherʼs Will was also tempered by the refinement he went through. He was starting to think that he should also have his sons undergo similar treatments in the future to temper their Wills, although he was afraid it might break them instead.

As for his daughters, instead of them screaming and overcoming or collapsing, Davis knew he wouldnʼt be able to endure their screams and end up canceling the refinement. He couldnʼt bear to see his daughters undergo such an excruciating process unless it was absolutely needed.

After he made Soaren a King-Tier Variant of Infernal Sunfire Crow, he sent him off and went to see his family, announcing his departure.

Naturally, many were pissed beyond compare.

Sophie and Niera were particularly teary-eyed since they were determined to be the next few to warm his bed by the harem. Davis was honestly scared that his harem had found a way to have meetings without him in the place. He didnʼt know how they were doing it, but they definitely were not telling.

The others also did not approve of his scarcity as they waited for a long time while letting others get ahead, although Evelynn, Isabella, and Shirley were fully supportive of him because they invested in Flamerose and Frostrose as mentors.

They glared at him with teary eyes, but after he said it was to rescue Shirleyʼs benefactors, they understood and nodded with determination. These were tough times, and they needed to endure his absence for the sake of prosperity.

They canʼt blind him with their bosoms. Otherwise, they would be sinning.

However, it wasnʼt all like they needed him near them. They just didnʼt want him to go out into the cruel world, afraid that they might lose him forever since it was possible that the Celestial Transcendent might return.

Nonetheless, Davis also knew that he couldnʼt ignore their needs, especially after lecturing Drake about it, so he gave his word to them to return and give them plenty of time. With those few words alone, their determined expressions turned wry and red.

Davis needed to go to the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm in order to find Frostrose.

The Ice Phoenix Lower Realm was three realms away from the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm. There were two ways he could get there— either go to the Earth Dragon Lower Realm and follow in Flameroseʼs footsteps, heading north to the Silverwing Haven Lower Realm and further head northeast to the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm, or he could head to the Three-Headed Hydra Lower Realm and head south to the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm and head southeast to the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm.

It mattered which way he went since he could possibly miss Flamerose and Frostrose on the way, so he decided to follow Flameroseʼs footsteps and head to the Earth Dragon Lower Realm, the same path he once went through to get all the way here.

”Iʼm also coming.” Shirley stood her ground.

”Count us in.” Lea strode forward. Little Calypsea also sat on her shoulder, giggling as she relished the lollipop in her mouth.

”Youʼre not leaving without me. You already promised.” Mingzhi poked his chest and pointed at his face with an angry pout.

”…”

Davis blinked. He wanted to go alone since he didnʼt want to endanger his people. He could always send his avatar to find Flamerose and Frostrose, too, but if he was too late to help them after he found them, everything would be for naught.

”Mingzhi, then we can only obtain what you want during the return journey.”

”Thatʼs fine with me.” Mingzhi shrugged.

”Alright then. Get ready.”

Davis told them and went to find his naughty children. He couldnʼt leave without getting a significant boost to his mood from their smiles.
