Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3937  Void Dust Treeʼs Realm Teleportation

Davis arrived before the Void Dust Tree.

He saw Stella wave at him before he saw the other ladies gaze at him disapprovingly.

It seems like the cat was out of the bag that he dual cultivated with Stella. Otherwise, they definitely wouldnʼt be giving him those looks.

”When were you going to say that Stella officially became our sister?” Mingzhi raised her brows.

Davis spread his hands, ”I was going to, but you were all pretty pissed that I spent more than half a day with someone else, even going as far as to….”

”…” Mingzhi blinked, ”My fault. You got me.”

”What happened?” Stella innocently asked.

”Aha~” Mingzhi wryly laughed, ”Elder Sis was just frustrated and tried to do something crazy. Thereʼs no need to worry because Iʼve been cured.”

”I see.” Stella didnʼt understand, but she nodded.

Davis panned his gaze and caught sight of Shirley, Lea, and Calypsea.

He nodded at them, causing them to nod back. Even Calypsea was more mature in her thoughts despite her small frame. She no longer troubled anyone, not even him, and kept her apocalyptic flames suppressed to the lid, not leaking a single iota of Divergent aura, according to Tia.

Honestly, he was surprised by Calypseaʼs rapid growth. Of course, she was pretty much stuck to Lea as they seemed to have bonded a lot during this period of time. He felt thankful to Lea for taking care of her in his stead.

ʼI guess Calypsea no longer needs me…ʼ

Davis shook his head lightly.

Calypsea was her own person, and eventually, she would grow to be with Lea or leave them. At least, he owed her that much for creating her, but he would like her to stay with them as he wanted to protect her.

Calypsea also wanted to be with them as she didnʼt want to be abandoned by him, but looking at her now, it was like she didnʼt even know him.

”Calypsea, have you been a good girl?” He asked fondly.

”Iʼve been a good girl, master~” Calypsea took out the lollipop from her mouth and giggled.

”…”

Davis couldnʼt believe she actually remembered the promise they made. He felt moved, understanding that she was holding back and not causing anyone trouble, even him, because of the promise they exchanged.

He walked towards her and spread his hands, ”Come here.”

A lollipop was suddenly airborne when Lea saw that Calypsea was no longer on her shoulder, seated like a spoiled child. Calypsea instantly rushed towards Davis and embraced him, looking so happy as she held onto his shoulders.

”Calypsea, my little destructive menace… I canʼt believe you still remember your master.”

”Always!~”

Calypsea giggled as she looked up at him.

Davis held her and caressed her head as his fingers ran through her wild purple hair. He closely looked at her crimson gold eyes, wondering how strong she was as she was now at the Peak-Level Immortal Emperor Stage.

”Master~”

Suddenly, a flash of black-silver lightning erupted beside him as a woman clad in silver robes appeared and whimpered.

It was Eldia.

Davis went stiff on seeing her in her new sexy silver attire, revealing a bit of cleavage. She already had a voluptuous body, so it could be said they were bouncing crazily and threatening to pour out, causing him to want to hug them before she embarrassed herself.

Fortunately, the silver robe seemed to be of the correct size as it held on like a tied rope.

”Oh, nice seeing you here… where have you been without seeing your master?”

”Heh?” Eldia blinked. She was about to complain as she saw Calypsea holding Davis, but hearing his question, she looked away.

”I was with Iesha and Zephya in the treasury, learning the secrets of life.”

”Ah, I see.” Davis nodded.

He bet she had been stealing some lightning-attributed treasures from the treasury like she was stealing candies, but he had already told the people in charge to overlook it. The problem was the one who made this attire for her. Clearly, it wasnʼt conjured by energy, and it was practically embroidered to seduce.

He couldnʼt tell who.

Either way, he let go of Calypsea before Eldia could get enraged again.

Eldia dashed towards him, turning into a ray of light before she jumped into his soul sea.

Davis didnʼt know what to say other than that she was lightning incarnate.

”Master, I know you have some snacks. I saved them for the last. Give me later, okay?”

She asked from within, causing Davis to cry inwardly.

His Eldia sure was a glutton.

”Sure, I will give you some later.”

”Yay!~”

He agreed, causing Eldia to rejoice. She kept quiet afterward, looking at the world with her senses.

She saw Calypsea glare at her, causing her to sneer. Their gazes locked, even with Davis acting as a wall between them.

Davis patted Calypsea and walked past her, standing in front of Lea.

”Lea, Iʼm sorry.” He reached out and grabbed her hands, ”I have decided to give the Vast Nebula Orchid to Stella since her realm creation arts are more important for our survival. I hope you can understand.”

”I understand.” Leaʼs lips curled behind her veil.

Her voice didnʼt contain a single iota of anger, making Davis purse his lips.

”Youʼve been so patient with me. I gave you a daunting task, such as disciplining Calypsea, and havenʼt rewarded you yet, much less married you when you wanted it so much. Do you… resent me…?”

He asked with some hesitation, causing Lea to blink.

”Truth is… I had so much fun with Calypsea. Of course, I feel a bit of grievance that you didnʼt come to see me, but as I said before, I know what itʼs like to run a sect. Running a family should be a similar daunting endeavor, and I have lived a long time, so I have the patience to wait for you until you finally have some free time for yourself. Thereʼs no need to worry over me, my dear~”

”…”

Davis couldnʼt say anything other than give a firm nod.

Those words were alone enough for a battered herd that had gone through some rough beasts the past two weeks.

He pulled her into an embrace and hugged her plenty, intending to give her lots of love when he got the chance.

After letting her go, he looked at Stella.

”Teleport us to the First Void Dust Sanctuary.”

”Yes, my human~”

Stella cupped her hands. She blinked before her lips curled, ”I mean, my husband~”

Strange undulations began radiating from the world- no, the realm as the Void Dust Tree resonated. They were spatial undulations, encompassing the entire world as though she had full control over who to send and from where. As the resonation centered all the way to Davis, causing spatial distortion to occur, they were suddenly sent catapulting through spacetime, appearing in the same place but in another realm.

”….”

Davis blinked, not sure if he had made it to the First Void Dust Sanctuary from the Second Void Dust Sanctuary as the Void Dust Tree was still here. But after checking it for a while, he saw that it was nothing more than a vestige that remained to prop the mini realm.

”Boo!~”

Abruptly, Stella screamed, causing Calypsea to jump and Shirley and Lea to shudder. On the other hand, Mingzhi and Davis knew Stella was already here through Heart Intent.

Indeed, Stellaʼs consciousness had occupied this vestige.

She manifested outside, descending before them in her human form. At the same time, the vestige also began to proliferate, becoming a true body.

By virtue of flesh, Stella can switch her true body anytime as long as a vestige remains in one of her mini-realms. The special thing was that they couldnʼt be karmically targeted across mini-realms because they were inactive until taken over and, hence, were called a vestige offshoot.

To make these vestiges her true body, Stella also had to send her true self here. In other words, all the realms she created were connected at the roots until they werenʼt as a vast space was present between them, and the moment she was karmically attacked, the roots also retreated, minimizing the damage so much that it practically made her appear as though she wasnʼt attacked.

At least, that was how Stella explained her powers to Mingzhi and the others.
