Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3930  Introducing The Boys

After spending time with Bylai and Zestria and cleaning up, Davis exited the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace and went to see his friends.

Using the Reaper Soul Legion, he called them outside from their temporary mansions or palaces. At the same time, he also called Drake Blackburn, Alexi Ethren, Agis Stirlander, Founder Zenflame and Founder Rocksunder, and introduced them all to Fenren Jadelight, Soaren Goldsun, and Andiron Blackryst.

With the eight of them present, he decided to have a small banquet and asked for Esveleʼs help, who then hired Jaisi Alstreim, as he had done before whenever there was a type of festival or party.

Therefore, the boys were seated on a table above a mountain peak underneath the starry skies, some having drinks in their hands and a few others ripping apart delicious meat with their mouths.

”Extremely delicious…!” Drake roared.

He gulped the piece of meat and went for the next.

”Thatʼs mine!”

Alexi reached out for the same piece of meat, their eyes turning sharp as they fought for it with a restrained amount of strength.

”Haha, what a feast. I couldnʼt ask for more after being locked up for so long…” Andiron burped.

However, he didnʼt stop and continued to extend his hands, picking one meat after another. If he couldnʼt, then they would use soul force to bring it near.

The table was laden with a feast fit for immortals, roasted to perfection, glistening with juices, and seasoned with spices unknown to the mortal tongue. Plates overflowed with fruits of radiant colors; each one seemed to contain mesmerizing taste, while chalices brimming with a variety of wines were plenty.

The others were also eating and drinking.

”Iʼm honored my humble delicacies fit all your tastes.” Jaisi Alstreim bowed.

She wore a full-body fur coat that seemed to be made from fox fur over her humble yet tantalizing crimson robes that hugged her figure and accentuated her features. Her beauty was nearly as breathtaking as ever, with how she made herself look elegant yet also sexy.

”Thanks for cooking for me once again. Appropriate contribution points will be awarded.”

Davis turned to look back at her and nodded.

”Understood. Iʼll take my leave then~”

Jaisi Alstreim cupped her hands and bowed in a dignified manner. She then left without looking back.

Suddenly, Davis turned to look at Drake, who was nudging as he hit his waist.

”I think I have seen that beauty before during one of your marriages. She was also the one who oversaw the dining, right?” Drake asked.

”Yup.”

Davis returned his gaze to the fresh juice and halfheartedly answered, his mind thinking about research and other things he had to do.

”Damn. She survived your vile hands? But itʼs obvious she has the hots for you with the way she tried to stay here for a while and get your attention.”

”…”

Davis blinked. He shot a look back at Drake, his expression one of suffering.

”I know a lot of women who have a huge crush on me. Even as a teenager, palace maids were smitten with me and are probably still are, even if they have married by now. I canʼt choose everyone. If I start to pick them one after another, my wivesʼ count will have long reached a hundred.”

Drake looked at Davis who was suffering from success raised his hands in surrender, ”Fair enough.”

”I do feel pity though.” Davis took a drink and sighed, ”Jaisi has been of help for a long time when it comes to food. She has also started a big restaurant that takes care of the populous. She just hasnʼt managed to pierce through my defenses, as sheʼs too reserved and is probably playing the long game. A cultivator can live for a long time, much less an immortal.”

”True. I also had a few women I was interested in back in the dual cultivation sects, but they all had some tangled pasts that I did not want to get involved with. You know— my women started demanding that I donʼt accept non-virgins.”

”…” Davis blinked. It was the same case for him.

The harem council really was overbearing, but he didnʼt have a problem with this decision. He made a bed, and he needed to sleep in it. After all, his women, who were prim and proper, wouldnʼt accept a lot of women in the first place, much less take in those who had already slept with another man.

In fact, he could already imagine them looking at such a person with disgust in their eyes.

”But speaking of reserved— are you sure that youʼre not having illicit relations with the maid?”

Drake asked in a hushed voice and looked into the distance where the maid was standing. She appeared professional and wouldnʼt disturb them unless called.

However, he could see how hot she was, especially her big bosoms that were overflowing and her dress having a hard time holding them. He could practically feel vague amounts of Emperor-Tier aura from her. And she was a maid?

Drake could only gulp and eat the meat with his mouth closed. What kind of household was this to have an Emperor-Tier beauty as a maid?

”Haha.” Davis laughed, ”Esvele is kind of special. She has gone through a complicated past and is probably trying to make up for it by forgetting that she even exists. We told her to leave and start a family or cultivate, but she volunteered to stay and become the head maid, so I gave her appropriate status and wealth to take care of the household. Frankly, I like her attitude, but not enough for me to pursue her.”

”I see…” Drake nodded lightly but shot a wry look at him.

”But Western maid clothes? Really?”

”…”

Davis went speechless for a moment, ”I swear it was Mingzhi.”

”Yeah, right.” Drake sneered.

”…”

Davis inwardly cried. He really was telling the truth.

From palace maid robe to western maid dress, it wasnʼt his idea! He swore! Mingzhi had created a variety of fashions from the old world. He couldnʼt be any more grateful to her as he could see his beauties in a new suit or dress and drop his jaws all over again.

However, looking at Esvele in such a uniform filled him with strange thoughts, which he promptly got rid of like he was slashing evil with a sword.

The conversation ended there, and Davis looked at his friends and getting to know each other. He didnʼt think spending time with fellow men would be this fun as he lacked perspective on this even back in the old world as Tian Long since he didnʼt make friends at all.

All he knew were acquaintances.

However, he noticed his buddy Soaren was only drinking and not eating much or talking.

He seemed to be getting drunk slowly.
