Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2653 Creating A Way

As Davis and the others walked into the hive again, he couldnʼt help but clench his teeth as he looked at the aftermath of the destruction caused by the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend.

So many of the Unfettered Ice Fiends he had killed were sliced and diced into pieces by the explosion caused by the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend. The moment the icy surface fissured and caused the vent to expand, everything was either sucked into the tunnels leading to the abyss or blown into meat paste. That was an immense loss of contribution points, causing him to feel pain inwardly.

During the battle, they couldnʼt be focused on retrieving the carcasses.

Fortunately, he had already swallowed the medicine for that pain as Tanya had defeated the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend. This would surely bring them an exorbitant amount of contribution points. Furthermore, there were still carcasses on the edges. Depending on the type of injury they had suffered, the carcasses would belong to the owner of that injury.

”Whereʼs that Level Four Immortal King Unfettered Ice Fiend? Did it also die?”

Nonetheless, as Davis panned his gaze, he remembered that they hadnʼt confirmed the death of the Level Four Immortal King Unfettered Ice Fiend.

”Level Four? There was still one alive?” Tanya blinked.

Her words caused Davis and Myria to stop and turn to look at her.

Tanyaʼs brows twitched, ”I havenʼt searched for it as I was busy suppressing the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend and searching for you with the inheritance core. ”

”I know. Weʼre not blaming you.” Davis shook his head before he gestured, ”You can check now if itʼs still out there somewhere.”

Tanyaʼs expression relaxed as she smilingly nodded. The inheritance core was bound to her in her soul sea. She activated it, causing its essence to flood into her, which directly made her feel like she was a part of this place, allowing her senses to encompass the Mercurial Blitz Ice Valley entirely.

Before, she was half-focused on fighting the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend whose prowess had reached Level Seven Immortal King Stage, and the other focus was truly concentrated on finding Davis. As soon as she found him, she was about to finish off the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend and retrieve him, but there appeared an anomaly right between them.

Stella Voidfield stepped out of the spatial vortex, and the very first words she said was, ʼWhereʼs big brother Davis?ʼ before realizing that she had unwittingly stepped into a battle between two monsters. Her expression changed, wanting to escape but finding herself locked within space. Arriving in a locked space was easier than leaving. It was only after Tanya had saved her and demanded that she go save Davis was Stella Voidfield able to leave the battlefield in one peace.

After all, Tanya already knew who Stella Voidfield was, as Davis had told them stories about her and her mother. They knew about the Guardians as well. She trusted Stella Voidfield to save him, especially when she was foolish enough to jump into a battlefield while following his remnant aura.

Now, as she checked the region, she abruptly found a bunch of Unfettered Ice Fiends gathering in a northwest tunnel underneath them.

”Indeed.” Tanya opened her eyes, ”The Level Four Unfettered Ice Fiend is still alive, gathering its forces. However, it seems like it doesnʼt have the guts to attack us at the moment.”

”Thatʼs alright. Thereʼs little need to be worried then.”

Myria turned around and continued to near the vent. The others followed her before finally arriving before the wall of wind.

”Stella Voidfield, was it? Just follow my actions and create a spatial disturbance with me.”

Myria raised both her hands. Spatial energy reverberated from her palms. However, it didnʼt quickly manifest before her but appeared at a point in the distance.

Inside the icy cyclone, a black point suddenly manifested. It tried to grow in size, but the violent winds and the condensed blades were leaving it unable to expand. It kept getting shredded, but the next moment, it grew to a few more meters exponentially, making that particular area create a disturbance that suddenly left the wind blades to avoid it.

*Whizz!~*

But as a result, wind blades even shot out of the cyclone, heading toward Davis and the others before rushing past them.

The wind blades that were approaching them were directly frozen and stopped in mid-air.

Davis couldnʼt help but turn to look at Tanya. She had one of her hands raised, appearing all-powerful and invincible as ice energy undulated from her, stopping the dangerous wind blades in its tracks. In his eyes, she was truly a different being from before.

There was the Immortal King aura that made her appear as a superior being, but more than that, there was this strange confidence of a true expert emanating from her, one that probably came from receiving personal tutelage from the Frostcloud Sword Empress, not to mention that there was this untouchable aura surrounding her that made him more prideful.

At least to his eyes, she seemed infallible at the moment.

”Keep the disturbance active...” Myria pursed her lips while Stella Voidfield nodded.

She was the one who expanded the spatial disturbance that Myria created. However, the wind blades approaching her made her react defensively, causing the spatial disturbance they created together to become unstable as she had momentarily let go of it.

Stella Voidfield took a deep breath, focusing on the task she was given. Within a few seconds, she stabilized the spatial disturbance.

The next moment, Myria moved her hand, creating another black point in the treacherous winds. It was not near the first spatial disturbance, nor was it too far.

”Expand that...”

”...” Stella Voidfield blinked. However, she moved her hand like Myria did and expanded the second spatial disturbance reverberating within the cyclone. It took her a few more seconds than last time but as soon as she expanded the disturbance and stabilized it, she possessed a grin as she turned to look at Davis, seemingly challenging him.

Davis shrugged. What did this have to do with him? He was not an expert in Space Laws. For Stella Voidfield to be provoking him with this, he still felt that he was a child, causing him to smile. At least she hadnʼt changed after so many years of separation from her perspective.

Just as Stella Voidfield returned her gaze to the cyclone, she saw third and fourth black points appear in the cyclone.

”Expand them too...”

Hearing Myriaʼs indifferent tone, Stella Voidfield became dumbfounded.
