Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2650 Skewed

Myria still stared at Nyx Godwin, absolutely unmoved. However, there was one sentence that couldnʼt help but cause her to blink ever so lightly at him.

”Iʼm not his woman.”

”Thatʼs...” Nyx Godwinʼs eyes flickered before his lips curled, ”... even more perfect. I want you and would do anything for you as you are worthy of being my first wife. Fairy Myria, it is better for you to think carefully and give me an answer. Iʼll protect you from the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend and treat you like an empress.”

”...” Myria turned to look away, her brows frowning, ”Fate thought that this was the best it could do against me?”

”What are you going on about? Yes or no. Give me an answer.”

”Child, it is not good for you to play games with your elder.”

In the end, Myria lightly sighed and shook her head. She stepped to the side and walked past Nyx Godwin. However, just as she crossed him, a hand grabbed her left wrist, causing her to stop, her eyes turning frigid as she turned to look at him, killing intent seeping out.

However, Nyx Godwin didnʼt seem intimidated at all. Instead, a wild and explosive aura erupted from him, surging around him as it tried to suppress Myria.

”Since you donʼt appreciate my kindne-”

Nyx Godwin suddenly became stumped as Myria grabbed his forehead. For a moment, he couldnʼt tell how her hand slithered out of his grasp as he was suppressing her using spatial energy, but with her hand grabbing his forehead, he realized that she was bold enough to counterattack.

”Wrong move.” However, Nyx Godwin grinned as his hand quickly grabbed her wrist again, ”My soul is protected by- by...”

Suddenly, his pupils dilated as a sense of danger filled his very core. A strange energy rushed into his soul sea. It was iridescent black and white in color, filled with a murkiness that he couldnʼt unravel. It slipped through his defenses like a slithering snake, undetected and unbound, before transforming into an otherworldly, glimmering sword and stabbing his soul essence in an instant.

”...”

Squeaking sounds came from Nyx Godwin tried to say something and even activate the defensive soul treasure of his own volition, but his eyes went dull the next second.

Myria glared at him coldly before returning her gaze to the front. She lifted him off the surface with a single hand and threw him to the side like a trash bag.

*Bang!~*

Nyx Godwin crashed into the icy wall and slid over. However, instead of standing up, he lay there lifelessly, not even making a single movement, much less a twitch of a finger.

Myria was about to walk away when she stopped, turning to look at Nyx Godwinʼs corpse. A wisp emerged from his soul, slowly manifesting into a bald-headed man with long white eyebrows.

”My grandson!”

His expression appeared to be full of shock as he witnessed the dead body of his grandson, appearing to be unable to comprehend his death. His eyes teared, turning bloodshot as he clenched his fists.

In reality, Nyx Godwin possessed numerous defensive treasures on him that even a Late Immortal King would find the task of killing him extremely difficult. So for someone to kill him, they must be an Immortal Emperor!

”...!”

He instantly turned to look around, spotting a white-robed woman close by. Their gazes matched, and he was just about to move his gaze, thinking that she couldnʼt have possibly killed him as she only had Level Eight Immortal Soul Stage Cultivation. However, a sliver of doubt emerged in his soul as he knew that the defensive treasures werenʼt all powerful and always had their weaknesses, causing him to open his mouth.

”You! Why did you murder my grandson?”

”The immortal sense of an Immortal Emperor. No wonder itʼs able to manifest here...” Myria nodded slightly.

These days, many immortal senses appeared as many true disciples died. However, seeing that their disciples or sons or daughters died to Unfettered Ice Fiends, they didnʼt reveal themselves, nor could they reveal themselves, as this was a restricted zone. Instead, they watched what happened in their wisp form and simply dispersed but even then, what they could see was merely a few meters as their sight was also restricted.

It was extremely difficult to manifest and survey entire regions as they could do outside.

Shaking her head, Myria turned around, appearing to leave as she saw that this immortal sense posed no threat. It couldnʼt even mark her.

”Speak!”

However, the old man appeared in front of her, blocking her path as his voice trembled, seemingly suppressing a stomach full of hatred.

Myria furrowed her brows. Although this immortal sense was suppressed by this restrictive zone, it was still able to suppress her a bit. Her lips curled as she couldnʼt help but feel amused.

”Your grandson tried to violate me.”

”Hmph! Who do you think you are?”

The old man with long eyebrows exploded, pointing at her face, ”I donʼt care if youʼre the Young Mistress of the Tyriel Family or anyone else. You shouldʼve just spread your legs open and bore a child for my grandson, but now, you have invited a calamity for yourself and anyone related to you. Just wash your neck and await your execution- no, before you even think of dying, your womanhood you tried to defend from my grandson will be ruthlessly violated, and you will die as a slut!”

”Are these the words of an Immortal Emperor?” Myriaʼs smile faded as she shook her head, ”How laughable.”

”Ahahaha!”

Her voice seemed disappointed, but the old man burst out laughing, seemingly crazy.

”I just lost my filial grandson and the most powerful heir my Godwin Family has ever seen, and you expect me to be gentle and polite!? You completely offended my Godwin Family, so just wait. Iʼll personally head to the Aurora Cloud Gate to bring you back with me and enjoy your body for countless nights with my brothers before slicing your head off publicly.”

As he continued to laugh, his eyes gleaming with full of lust and hatred for Myria, his immortal sense dispersed, unable to maintain its form under the suppressive restriction anymore.

”...”

Myria stared at the empty space for a while, thinking before her lips curled.

”Is this fateʼs way of cornering me?”

She silently scoffed, reaching out her hand to take Nyx Godwinʼs treasures, which she didnʼt before as she didnʼt want an immortal sense to notice her, but now, it was of no use as an Immortal Emperor already noticed her.

Even if she disguised herself, the other party would surely be able to recognize her aura.

*Whoosh!~*

At this moment, the sound of a movement fell on her ears, causing her eyes to flicker before she turned to look toward the newcomer.

”Myria...”

Davisʼs eyes were frigid, and his expression was grim as his gaze moved between Nyx Godwinʼs corpse and Myria, causing him to clench one of his fists while he held Myriaʼs severed hand on the other. He didnʼt know what Myria said, but an old manʼs furious voice echoed across the tunnels, allowing him to understand what couldʼve occurred here somewhat that he was beyond furious.
