Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2620 Meeting Her Guardian

”Thatʼs a given.” Davis revealed a confident smile, ”But this means that thereʼs no female Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend. Isnʼt that right?”

”That would be the case.” Ellia nodded.

If such a being existed, then all the Unfettered Ice Fiends might be at Level Four or even Level Five Immortal Stage. Since that didnʼt happen, then it could only be said that the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend has split into ten thousand beings all by itself.

Mystic Diviner Hailac also couldnʼt help but heave a sigh of relief, ”Still, the Level Three Immortal King Stage ones have already killed plenty of true disciples that the Aurora Cloud Gate is angered at this point, causing them to hand out rewards to eradicate them. This is a good opportunity for us, who could easily kill these creatures with karmic attacks. Wait… itʼs been a day already. Where are your other women and, most importantly, your little aunt Tia?”

Mystic Diviner Hailac couldnʼt help but squint her eyes. It couldnʼt be that they died, did they?

”Them?” Davisʼs lips curved, ”Youʼll see them soon.”

His mysterious smile left Mystic Diviner Hailac feeling curious, but she saw them leave and followed them.

Davis let Ellia lead the way since she was the one who knew the way to his destination. After crossing many tunnels, they saw no Unfettered Ice Fiend, but they saw disciples who told them that all the Unfettered Ice Fiends had formed a defense line over the core, leaving them unable to enter.

At this rate, they were worried that it was going to implode and cause a huge calamity for the region.

Nonetheless, Davis wasnʼt worried and had Ellia continue to lead the way before they appeared before a white-robed, white-haired woman who hid in an inconspicuous corner neatly.

Ellia approached the white-robed woman and fell to her knees. However, she didnʼt say anything but simply lowered her head, waiting for the other party to respond.

It was a few seconds before a melodious, yet indifferent voice echoed out.

”Why are you kneeling? Get up.”

Ellia raised her head to look at Myria, ”Elder sister, if I made you angry, then please forgive me.”

Myria opened her eyes and turned to look. Her sharp gaze first fell on Davis before she lowered her gaze and focused on Ellia.

”Have you become pregnant?”

”…” Ellia became slightly embarrassed, but she shook her head.

”So Iʼm not a grandmother yet.” Myria nodded as she turned her head away.

”You mean aunt.”

”Ridiculous. Iʼm your mother who gave a virgin birth through the soul. If youʼre going to apologize, at least get the honorifics right.”

Myria turned and glared, causing Ellia to lower her head again.

”I understand… elder sis~”

”…”

Myria simply stared at Ellia before she heaved a gentle sigh, ”Indeed. I was angry, but I was not angry at you but at him.”

ʼI thought so…ʼ Ellia pursed her lips, ”Thatʼs why Iʼm giving an apology.”

”Why? Thereʼs nothing for you two to apologize for. I got angry by myself and directed it at him when it was my fault for relying on him in the first place.”

”…”

Davis pursed his lips, making him think that she was back to her old self again. Sighing inwardly, he gestured with his hand, ”Myria, you might think that I was reeling in debauchery, but in truth, that is indeed the case.”

”…” Elliaʼs smile froze, but quickly, Davis continued after the slight pause.ƒ𝒓𝗲𝐞we𝚋𝚗ｏ𝚟𝚎l.co𝒎

”However, my intent to reward my beauties for their efforts and make love with them is also true. In reality, my cultivation has also improved due to dual cultivating with Ellia, so it couldnʼt be said that I was slacking off.”

ʼOf course!ʼ

Myria inwardly screamed as Ellia was her offspring. How could she not be fruitful in many ways?

However, for him to say such things so boldly, she was speechless, not knowing what to say. She turned her head away, shaking ever so lightly.

”Stay away from me. Itʼs not good for youngsters to get caught up in old peopleʼs troubles.”

Elliaʼs face changed as she revealed a bit of sorrow. Why was her mother like this, trying to always carry the burden by herself?

Davis lifted his head up and looked at the ceiling, rubbing his head. He couldnʼt help but feel that one decision certainly does cross someone elseʼs bottom line, and in this case, it happened to offend Myria somehow.

He couldnʼt tell what exactly she was angry at with so little she spoke, and he couldnʼt use his Heart Intent on her either, as it would just end up making her angrier.

On the other hand, Mystic Diviner Hailac, who was behind them, couldnʼt help but occasionally blink, her eyes focusing on Myria.

Who was this woman that they had to explain themselves to her? She couldnʼt exactly hear what they were saying as there was a sound barrier, but she could perceive their movements.

Scratching his head, Davis lowered his arm before cupping his hands.

”Myria, I still want to be allied with you. I mightʼve had my manly and brazen tendencies control my body, but I have no intention to leave you behind, nor are you old. Iʼm still your in-name disciple, remember?”

”…”

”You have to continue teaching me so many things.”

”…”

”You have to be our guardian and see us live a happy life.”

”…”

”You have to-”

”Enough.” Myria raised her hand before he could spew more pleasantries while Davis swiveled his tongue inside his mouth, wanting to say something more important but was stopped by Myria.

”I understand.” Myria heaved a breath as she put her hand down, ”In that case, you must do as I say.”

”It depends on what youʼre asking for. If youʼre expecting me to move as you please, then I decline.”

”Give me a grandchild.”

”…!”

Davis and Ellia were shocked at Myriaʼs statement. The former blinked while the latter went red, unable to believe that her virtuous mother could be so bold. She glanced behind to see what her belovedʼs reaction would be and saw him frowning, causing her to blink.

”Wait…”

”What?” Myriaʼs eyes flashed with anger, ”You canʼt even give me that experience while you wanted to claim my daughter all to yourself?”

”No… I mean…” Davis solemnly looked at her, ”Nadia is calling me… it seems that the Frostcloud Sword Empress wants to see me…?”

Myriaʼs eyes narrowed.

She could tell the other party could be an Immortal Emperor by the title but who the hell was that?
