I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 849, Yan Hua’s Plan

“Shaman, but we don’t have that many people. I’m afraid executing this will be difficult,” Sha Lan said worriedly.

The current personnel in the Flame Dragon Tribe were just right. Or rather, it shouldn’t be said they were just right… it was more like everyone had their respective jobs and were fulfilled in that sense.

It could be said that the work distribution was just right, with no way to arrange more people.

Whether for building cement houses, farmland matters, or workshop personnel, no one could be spared.

Never mind sparing people; if they could have more people, they would naturally accept them gladly.

However, looking at the current situation, the Flame Dragon Tribe couldn’t spare more people.

“I know this too, so this is also one of the difficulties we face,” Su Bai frowned.

He naturally knew the Tribe’s personnel were insufficient, which was why he had kept this plan to himself.

If the Tribe had enough personnel, he would have long since presented the plan for implementation.

“Shaman, it seems we can only postpone this plan again, because we can’t spare this many people,” Sha Lan said regretfully.

Although Sha Lan very much wanted this plan to begin implementation immediately, the conditions for implementation simply hadn’t been met.

“Yes, the most important thing now is to develop what we currently have,” Su Bai nodded.

He certainly had many ideas, but having ideas and being able to implement them were two different things.

He possessed so much knowledge from Earth that he could put to use here.

But even a skilled housewife cannot cook without rice. Even the most capable person couldn’t conjure a bowl of rice out of thin air.

“Shaman, if our Tribe had that many people, could we implement the plan in your drawing?” Yan Hua asked.

Yan Hua still seemed a bit reluctant to give up. The blueprint’s plan made her very eager.

“Of course. If we had sufficient personnel, implementing this plan wouldn’t be difficult,” Su Bai clasped his hands together.

“Shaman, if that’s the case, then I have a way to expand our personnel,” Yan Hua immediately said.

When Yan Hua finished this statement, her face showed unstoppable traces of a smile. Clearly, she had thought of a very good idea.

“Oh? What good method do you have? Tell me,” Su Bai’s interest was instantly piqued.

“Can’t we recruit some people from other Tribes?” Yan Hua immediately said.

The first method Yan Hua thought of was this; since the Flame Dragon Tribe didn’t have enough people, why not get people from other Tribes?

“Ah’Hua, don’t you know that people from other Tribes might expose our secrets?” Sha Lan looked very solemn, continuing, “Not only that, they might also betray us.”

Sha Lan wasn’t very confident about people from other Tribes. After the incident of the Ancestral Land being taken, she had always been extra cautious.

“Ah’Lan is right. Although our Tribe can indeed recruit people from other Tribes, this is a bit risky,” Su Bai said seriously.

Actually, as long as the Flame Dragon Tribe spoke up now, saying that anyone willing to work for the Flame Dragon Tribe would be given food and housing…

There would definitely be a huge number of people wanting to come to the Flame Dragon Tribe. But were these people reliable? No, these people were more dangerous than reliable.

The Flame Dragon Tribe’s secrets about ceramics, papermaking, linen manufacturing, iron ore, and so on might all be exposed.

Then each Tribe would develop to roughly the same level as the Flame Dragon Tribe, and the Flame Dragon Tribe would lose its advantage.

It might even become the primary target for attacks by other Tribes. Su Bai didn’t want to take this risk.

“Shaman, that’s not what I mean. There are many Tribes that are Small Tribes, and they’re already beginning to struggle.” Yan Hua immediately shook her head frantically, continuing, “There are also very many Wandering Tribes. Actually, we can look for these people.”

Yan Hua naturally knew what the Shaman and Sha Lan were worried about. She wasn’t stupid to that degree.

“Although they’re all Small Tribes, they won’t easily pledge allegiance to another Tribe.” Sha Lan brushed her blue long hair, continuing, “Maybe they’ll even think we have ulterior motives. They’re still too unreliable.”

What Sha Lan worried about wasn’t unreasonable. Even if they were Small Tribes about to collapse, the risk of betraying the Flame Dragon Tribe was still very high.

“Ah’Lan’s concern is correct, but this is also not necessarily a bad method. We can optimise this approach.” Su Bai’s lips curved slightly upward.

He already had a suitable good idea in his mind; it was exactly the good suggestion Yan Hua had given.

“Shaman, do you agree with my idea?” Yan Hua instantly grinned.

“Shaman, I wonder how this idea should be improved?” Sha Lan began to feel anticipation.

“Some Small Tribes definitely won’t survive the rainy season. By then they’ll also become Wandering Tribes. Before that happens, we only need to wait.”

Su Bai took a sip of tea and posed a question, “When the rainy season arrives, what happens to the various Tribes?”

“They’ll start preparing food, preparing plans to deal with the arrival of the rainy season, or perhaps relocate from their original places in advance,” Sha Lan stated her thoughts.

“Some Tribes will fight each other over territory and food. In short, everyone wants to pass the rainy season comfortably,” Yan Hua immediately thought of conflict.

“Correct. What you two said is very right. There will definitely be very many Tribes unable to restrain themselves from attacking another Tribe. At this time, we only need to wait patiently.”

Su Bai felt better and even found the tea he was drinking fragrant. He continued explaining, “When war occurs, there will definitely be many people abandoned. Those who are homeless will be more pure with their intentions.”

He naturally wanted to expand the Tribe, but before expanding the Tribe, he must ensure those people’s loyalty to the Flame Dragon Tribe.

“Oh! I understand now. It’s a bit similar to the Sea Fish Tribe and Sea Insect Tribe. Because you helped these Tribes last time, they’ve now pledged allegiance to our Flame Dragon Tribe,” Sha Lan suddenly realised.

“Shaman, at that time do we just need to look for people near these Tribes?” Yan Hua asked.

She still deeply admired the Shaman. What he thought was completely different from what she thought. He considered very many places she couldn’t think of, and these places were all very important.

“Yes, there are still over twenty days until the rainy season arrives. At this time, we just need to wait slowly,” Su Bai smiled.

“I understand, Shaman. Should we start having people pay attention to the Small Tribes around us?” Sha Lan asked.

“We can start paying attention at this time. It’s about right,” Su Bai relaxed against the chair back.

“Understood,” Sha Lan smiled.
