I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 810, Without Losing a Single Soldier

*Whoosh whoosh whoosh…*

Lee Yun frantically flapped her wings, using more than half a day’s time to return to the Flame Dragon Tribe.

She couldn’t afford to rest. After landing, she immediately rushed towards the Chieftain’s house, needing to urgently report what she had just seen.

*Step step step…*

Lee Yun arrived beneath the Chieftain’s building, gasping heavily as she said, “Chieftain, we… we have… found them.”

“Did you see people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe?” Yan Jiao guessed.

“Yes, very likely people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe,” Lee Yun had already adjusted her breathing.

The dragonfly girl now felt her back was extremely sore. Constantly flapping her wings vigorously inevitably caused her muscle pain.

“Come. We must immediately go and report to the Shaman, then discuss countermeasures.” Yan Jiao said at once.

“Yes, Chieftain.” Lee Yun nodded.

Cang Shi happened to be passing by at this moment. Seeing the two of them like this, he asked, “Could it be you’ve found them?”

He knew that at this time, Lee Yun should be surveying the target. Appearing here at this time and chatting with the Chieftain clearly meant that there was a situation at hand.

“En, people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe have appeared. We’re going to the Yong’an Building,” Yan Jiao walked in front. At this time, there was no extra time for idle chat.

“Wait for me,” Cang Shi also felt the matter had become serious and closely followed them to the Yong’an Building.

*Step step step…*

More than ten minutes later, Yan Jiao and the others all appeared at the Yong’an Building. Present at the same time were also Sha Hong, Qing Yan and other Totem Warriors with formidable strength.

“Rushing over so urgently with so many people assembled, could it be that people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe have appeared?” Su Bai also spotted Lee Yun within the group.

“Shaman, Lee Yun discovered people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe in the forest. They’re approximately two days’ walk from us,” Yan Jiao said immediately.

Lee Yun’s flight speed was particularly fast. She had only used half a day’s time to fly back.

If flying normally at a leisurely pace, it would take approximately ten hours to fly back.

Adding to that, the distance from where that group was to where Lee Yun and Zen had landed to observe would also take an hour or two to walk.

Calculating based on this time period, the people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe would indeed need to walk for approximately two days.

“Oh? The people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe truly couldn’t restrain themselves. They’ve already sent their men to our Flame Dragon Tribe?” Su Bai sat up straight.

Before everyone had arrived, he had been scheming about matters concerning Qin and her Tribespeople.

Because these past two days, Sha Hong had also helped bring back Qin and the others. They were now settled in the wooden houses on the Tribe’s outer region.

They still hadn’t arranged suitable work for them. This matter hadn’t even been followed up on yet.

“Shaman, should we prepare to have the Warriors go out to intercept the enemy?” Yan Jiao asked seriously.

The Chieftain absolutely would not permit anyone to invade the Flame Dragon Tribe’s territory. The last Black Snake Tribe incident was because they had been too weak.

But now it was different. Now their strength had already increased by leaps and bounds.

He had to properly teach the Dark Scorpion Tribe a lesson, especially since the Black Snake Tribe at that time had been a subordinate Tribe to the Dark Scorpion Tribe.

Thinking of this, Yan Jiao’s teeth itched with anger. He had long wanted revenge, to properly ‘care for’ the Dark Scorpion Tribe.

“Shaman, the Warriors are all ready. I believe this time we’ll definitely achieve a great victory,” Cang Shi also became excited.

His current mood was the same as Yan Jiao’s. Both felt they had to personally deal with the people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe.

Originally, they had wanted to wait for the Tribe to slowly develop before taking the initiative to attack. But now, the other party had delivered themselves to their doorstep. This opportunity absolutely couldn’t be easily allowed to slip away.

“Shaman, I can charge to the very front and twist off their leader’s head.” Qing Yan also said fiercely.

If not for that lot from the Dark Scorpion Tribe, he probably would not have been forced to separate from the Flame Dragon Tribe for such a long period. Moreover, he had not lived well every day. If not for him being strong enough, he would probably have died hundreds of times in the Wilderness by now.

“Shaman, is there anything I need to do? Actually, I don’t necessarily have to stay in the Tribe,” Sha Hong also chimed in.

She thought of Sha Lan, forcibly separated from the Tribe for so long. This had been a matter weighing on her heart.

“All of you be quiet for a moment. With everyone talking at once, my head is spinning,” Su Bai raised his hand, pressing down.

He now felt as if he were surrounded by loud stereos, with 360-degree coverage of chatter with no blind spots. It was utterly exhausting to hear all of this.

“Shaman, do you have a plan?” Yan Jiao also gestured for the others to be quieter.

Although he wanted to directly intercept the people from the Dark Scorpion Tribe, he couldn’t be too impulsive.

“How many people does the other side have? How many weapons did they bring this time? How many Totem Warriors and Warrior Trainees does the other side have?” Su Bai paused, then continued asking, “Among the Totem Warriors, how many are Mid Grade Totem Warriors, and how many are High Grade Totem Warriors?”

What he needed to do now was to understand the enemy. As the saying goes, ‘know yourself, know your enemy, and in a hundred battles you will never be in peril’.

They couldn’t simply rashly dispatch Warriors to intercept them without knowing the other party’s situation.

“Shaman, they number three hundred in total. Zen and I carefully counted many times. Half are Totem Warriors, half are Warrior Trainees.”

Lee Yun seriously recalled, continuing, “Each person brought several stone knives and stone spears. As for Mid Grade Totem Warriors and High Grade Totem Warriors, we are still unable to tell.”

By the end, she felt somewhat guilty, blaming herself for her strength still being insufficient, unable to distinguish the opposing Warriors’ grades.

“No need for guilt. It’s very normal that you couldn’t tell at this time. Even if we sent Totem Warriors to check, they might not necessarily be able to distinguish.”

Su Bai waved his hand dismissively, continuing, “It seems the Dark Scorpion Tribe’s preparations this time are very thorough. They actually prepared a full three hundred people. It appears they truly want to seize our location once again.”

This number was somewhat beyond his expectations. A total of three hundred people, with Totem Warriors accounting for half.

“Shaman, although we don’t have as many Warriors as theirs, we have weapons they don’t. We still have a very good chance of winning,” Yan Jiao analysed.

“No, I want to take down everyone from the Dark Scorpion Tribe, without losing a single person.” Su Bai said in a deep voice. “I want to thoroughly eliminate the other side without a scratch on our side.”

Cang Shi was stunned, frowning as he said, “Shaman, that would be impossible. War will inevitably result in people getting injured and a few losses.”
