I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 807, Three Hundred Formidable Warriors

*Rustle rustle…*

A large group of people in the forest found a shaded area to rest. Today’s weather was simply too hot.

Moreover, they had been travelling since morning until now, and it was currently midday when the Sun was at its strongest.

At this time, everyone wanted to rest properly, seeking shelter from the scorching Sun to drink some water. If they continued advancing like this, they would eventually suffer heatstroke.

This group of people was from the Dark Scorpion Tribe. More than twenty days had passed since leaving the Dark Scorpion Tribe, and their travelling speed had been quite fast.

“This weather is truly an obstacle. How wonderful it would be if it could cool down just a bit or we have some rain…” Gai said, frowning as he looked at the sky through the gaps in the leaves.

A strong ray of sunlight fell upon his face, but he showed no intention of avoiding the intense direct sunlight.

Although he wasn’t particularly experienced, his determination to lead this group forward was considerable.

This was precisely why, despite having left the Tribe for such a long time and enduring such harsh living conditions in the forest, none of these people had voiced any complaints.

“I also hope this weather cools down, otherwise by the time we reach the Flame Dragon Tribe, we’d be finished,” Ga said, beginning to drink water in large gulps.

Droplets of water slowly slid from the corners of her mouth, gliding across her delicate skin and prominent collarbone, finally flowing between her impressive bosom.

“After resting briefly, we’ll advance immediately. We should arrive in a few days. Once we completely take down the Flame Dragon Tribe, then we can rest properly,” Gai said, as though seeing hope.

He too was drinking water in large gulps. This hot weather had significantly increased their water consumption.

“Before we arrive, we must formulate a proper plan,” Ga said, wiping the water from the corner of her mouth.

She disliked fighting battles without certainty. No matter how strong one’s abilities were, one absolutely needed thorough planning.

“What’s there to worry about regarding the Flame Dragon Tribe? Since our Tribe could take them down once, we can definitely take them down a second time. Moreover, this time it’s us Siblings personally going out,” Gai said with full confidence.

He had never taken the Flame Dragon Tribe seriously, always believing such Small Tribes weren’t worth worrying about.

“I told you not to be too careless. Why won’t you just listen to me?” Ga was livid.

Throughout the journey, she had repeatedly instructed her Younger Brother to be careful and not to be too arrogant about anything. When something becomes excessive, it produces negative results, just like with the Flame Dragon Tribe.

Although the Black Snake Tribe had taken them down at the time, hadn’t they still let some people escape?

Ultimately, because of those escapees, the Black Snake Tribe was defeated. Not only that, even the two veteran scouts sent to investigate had vanished without a trace.

These two points alone were sufficient cause for concern, yet her Younger Brother still displayed an indifferent attitude, which greatly displeased her.

She absolutely did not want his carelessness to result in this mission’s failure, leading to both of them perishing at the Flame Dragon Tribe.

“I’m not refusing to listen to you. It’s just that Sister, you’re well aware of our strength, aren’t you? Why should we be so concerned about this Small Tribe?”

Gai turned his head and continued, “Moreover, the people we’ve brought this time are all extremely capable. How many people does the Flame Dragon Tribe have? They definitely can’t defeat us.”

Indeed, amongst the several hundred Warriors he had brought this time, over half possessed considerable skill and strength. Anyone of these Warriors had the capability to be assigned to other Tribes.

One should know that within the Dark Scorpion Tribe, any Warrior who could be assigned to other Tribes was one whose abilities had been verified.

Although half of these three hundred people were Warrior Trainees, this half would soon become Totem Warriors.

It was simply that the Totem Awakening Ceremony occurred only once a year. These were Warrior Trainees who had just awakened after the recent snow season.

Having just awakened as Warrior Trainees and already being assigned to carry out missions demonstrated their inherent potential.

“Regardless of how few people the Flame Dragon Tribe has, we must still conduct proper reconnaissance before doing anything, otherwise we’ll be the ones suffering losses,” Ga insisted.

Naturally, she also hoped this mission would succeed, because she did not want to remain in the Dark Scorpion Tribe either.

The atmosphere within the Dark Scorpion Tribe was far too oppressive. She could not wait to leave and take charge of a Tribe.

“I know, I know. The day before we reach the Flame Dragon Tribe, we’ll send people out, alright?” Gai was truly exasperated by that nagging mouth.

Although he said this verbally, he still disagreed internally, believing there was no need to waste manpower on this.

They could simply lead the Warriors directly to crush the Flame Dragon Tribe. Why stay outside for an extra night?

“Also, there’s one more thing I need to tell you: just kill all the Warriors. All the remaining ordinary people must be kept.” Ga tightened the Animal Hide water bag and continued, “Otherwise, this Tribe won’t function as a Tribe. I expect there aren’t any other Tribes nearby to plunder either.”

“I’m aware of that. By the way, I heard there are many Tribes not far from the Flame Dragon Tribe that belong to us, correct?” Gai suddenly recalled.

“It seems so. At the time, Feng and Zhu were sent to investigate. They said if the Flame Dragon Tribe proved too difficult to handle, they could unite these Tribes to eliminate them,” Ga remembered.

“You see, our reinforcements are close by. Once we reach the Flame Dragon Tribe and discover they’re truly problematic, we can seek assistance from them then.” Gai said dismissively. Although he said this verbally, internally he thought those people would be completely unnecessary.

“As long as we plan properly in advance, we won’t need people from these Tribes at all,” Ga said, brushing her hair aside.

“It’s just that we don’t even know where these Tribes are located,” Gai said, looking at the sky.

He noticed the Sun was gradually being obscured by clouds and immediately began gathering the items on the ground.

“We can just ask someone when the time comes. First, we’ll take down the Flame Dragon Tribe,” Ga said seriously.

“Right, we can leave now while the Sun isn’t too strong,” Gai said immediately. He couldn’t wait to reach the Flame Dragon Tribe. He didn’t want to spend another night in the forest.

Although the forest had dense trees that could block much of the scorching Sun, walking through the forest still felt humid. Moreover, that stifling heat continuously assaulted them. The sensation was far from pleasant.
