I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 808, Form in the Rain

The Sea Fish Tribe had also begun experiencing rain. Intermittent showers came and went, though the rainfall was not heavy.

Primitive forests were like this, especially when adjacent to a vast ocean, so this phenomenon was perfectly normal.

Ripples spread across the sea surface. One had to admit, this scene seemed to be quite beautiful.

Co Co stood by the seaside watching this scene, holding an Animal Hide umbrella in one hand. The image of her was truly aesthetic.

These umbrellas had come from the Flame Dragon Tribe. There weren’t many, just three or four.

“So beautiful,” Co Co couldn’t help but exclaim.

Her golden short hair fluttered in the wind, though it no longer possessed that flowing quality of her previous long hair. Instead, it conveyed a sense of capability. The golden haired girl had gradually grown to appreciate this sensation.

“If only the Shaman and the others were here as well, they could see this wonderful scenery too,” Co Co murmured.

Co Co somewhat missed the Flame Dragon Tribe. Since leaving the Tribe for the Sea Fish Tribe, quite some time had passed, approximately thirty to forty days.

“I wonder how Ah’Hua is doing. She loves doing missions, I wonder if she is on a mission right now?” Co Co brushed away rainwater that had blown against her cheek and continued murmuring, “And Ah’Lan? She should be by Ah’Hua’s side again. They are always so close.”

Co Co thought that once the Sea Fish Tribe gradually got on track, she absolutely must return to the Flame Dragon Tribe for an extended stay.

“I hope the rain stops soon, so the Tribe’s people can go out to sea and fish.” Co Co said, looking up at the sky.

The rain threads in the sky continued falling like fine cow hair. One had to say, this scene was quite beautiful.

Co Co did not know how long she had been standing there when a black shadow gradually appeared in the sky, resembling a black bean in size.

“That is…” Co Co found that black shadow rather familiar.

Co Co slowly moved the umbrella aside, her golden eyes staring fixedly at that black dot in the sky.

She endured the uncomfortable sensation of raindrops entering her eyes, all to see clearly that black shadow in the sky.

That black shadow felt far too familiar, as though she had seen it somewhere before.

“What exactly is…” Co Co raised her hand to brush away rainwater from her forehead.

*An an an…*

Ethereal sounds rang out, appearing even more ethereal in the rainy sky.

“This sound… this sound is so familiar. Could it be… could it be Yu’er?” Co Co’s golden eyes instantly widened.

She no longer cared about the fine rain falling into her eyes, wanting only to see that black shadow more clearly.

*An an an…*

The ethereal sound rang out again, and the black bean-sized shadow began gradually enlarging.

From its original black bean size, it slowly grew to washbasin size, stone vat size, until finally revealing its true appearance completely.

It was a dog with broad wings. A dog with a Shiba Inu appearance sporting a pair of wide wings.

Moreover, this Shiba Inu-like dog’s fur was snow white, with its front two teeth extraordinarily long, several times longer than its other teeth.

Not only that, rather than having a tail like a Shiba Inu, it possessed two slender white tails, and its ears appeared more elongated.

A pair of blue eyes matched the blue fur inside its wings quite strikingly. Its overall size wasn’t particularly large.

Its entire appearance looked quite beautiful as it slowly descended towards Co Co through the rain and mist.

*An an an…*

The sounds it produced were particularly ethereal, quite harmonious with its snow-white appearance.

It was a Flying Rain Beast, a Mix Blood Ferocious Beast that had been rescued by people from the Sea Fish Tribe since infancy.

Afterwards, it had continuously been raised beside Co Co, growing up alongside her.

Indeed, this Flying Rain Beast had a Physique similar to an Alaskan Malamute from Earth and was a Ferocious Beast.

Very few Ferocious Beasts had such a small Physique, and such a gentle temperament. Naturally, its gentle temperament was only because it had been rescued from infancy and continuously raised beside Co Co.

“It really is Yu’er,” Co Co was incredibly excited.

She continuously stood on tiptoe in place, her face written all over with happiness. She hadn’t smiled this happily in a very long time.

*An an an…*

The Flying Rain Beast slowly descended. Accompanied by ethereal calls, it pounced entirely onto Co Co.

It frantically nuzzled Co Co’s face with its own, its two slender white tails continuously swaying.

Its pair of large white wings kept flapping. Clearly, it too was extremely happy.

“It really is you. Where have you been all this time? It was you who carried me out before, wasn’t it?” Co Co had far too many questions.

*An an an…* The Flying Rain Beast kept calling out in response, though it had no way to speak and thus could not answer Co Co’s questions.

“Are you injured? How have you spent all this time? Did kind people take you in?” Co Co worried about various things.

After all, from childhood until now, this Flying Rain Beast had always been with her. Its sudden disappearance for so long naturally filled her heart with concern.

Who knew whether those people would treat a Ferocious Beast well after seeing it? Moreover, this Ferocious Beast’s temperament was so gentle. Who knew what bullying it might have endured?

*An an an…* The Flying Rain Beast only nuzzled Co Co’s face continuously, ceaselessly producing ethereal calls.

“As long as you’ve returned safely, everything is fine. I was so worried you’d never come back,” Co Co said, embracing the Flying Rain Beast deeply.

This Flying Rain Beast happened to be female as well. So, she was sort of like a little Sister to Co Co.

*An an an…*

The Flying Fish Beast suddenly stood up, her front legs slowly kneeling down, her blue and white wings lowering accordingly.

She kept turning her head to look at Co Co, producing soft sounds from her mouth, as though indicating for Co Co to climb on.

“I understand. You want to take me flying for a couple of rounds again, don’t you?” Co Co naturally understood perfectly.

Because this was how they had always been. Yu’er would frequently take her flying outside the Tribe to play.

Especially on rainy days, they would always fly out to play when it rained.

The reason for choosing rainy days was because Yu’er possessed two forms. When the sky was raining, she took on one form. When the weather was clear, she took on another form entirely.

“Since it’s raining, let’s properly enjoy ourselves,” Co Co said, climbing onto Yu’er’s back without hesitation.

Her entire movement was particularly practised, even though they hadn’t seen each other for so long.

*An an an…* Yu’er slowly stood up, its broad wings continuously flapping, preparing for flight.

As raindrops fell, Yu’er’s mood grew even more jovial, as she flapped her wings with greater force.
