Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 959: Chapter 958: Illusions, Sleepwalking, Acting Ape, Uncle Kuma

On this sea, there are countless detestable characters.

Pirates, mountain bandits, mafia, scum within the Navy, enemy invasions — for the island’s inhabitants, these armed forces bring endless trouble and disaster.

But there’s only one group universally despised, yet feared to speak against — the Heavenly Celestial Dragon.

The Navy of the Four Seas has to be careful about exposure, mountain bandits and pirates might still get caught, but the Heavenly Celestial Dragon is different. Everything they do is legal, backed by the World Government, with the Navy as their support. People simply can’t afford to provoke them.

Upon seeing the Heavenly Celestial Dragon, people either try to hide or respectfully kneel down — these are the few reactions ordinary people can make.

Even if someone beats up a Heavenly Celestial Dragon, the reaction of the bystanders is to run away, fearing they might get burnt.

As for the pirates under the Four Emperors, they don’t fear the Heavenly Celestial Dragon but aren’t interested in provoking them either. Before completely flipping the table, both parties generally avoid conflict; even the Heavenly Celestial Dragon wouldn’t mess around in the New World without cause.

Mary Geoise still has people who can manage these Heavenly Celestial Dragon, urging them to provoke the Sea Emperor yields no benefits for their community.

The higher-ups among the Heavenly Celestial Dragon have brains; the administrators of several families are contemplating the future, otherwise, Tesoro couldn’t have been so successful — it’s difficult to negotiate with idiots.

Olga acts without considering consequences, given that she has multiple disguises. As long as she doesn’t incite a worldwide chain reaction, the cost means nothing to her.

If the Heavenly Celestial Dragon doesn’t die, being beaten merely attracts an Admiral; and someone has already initiated action, if she beats up two more, the result remains unchanged.

”I’m not interested, but be careful, killing someone with one punch could be quite troubling.”

”No worries, no worries, see that fat guy over there isn’t easily beaten, even the one with the Straw Hat punched him so hard his face got deformed, yet he didn’t die.”

Currently, the Heavenly Celestial Dragon is so tainted it’s beyond evaluation, but their ancestors were different — having established a World Government, the original 20 kings possessed their own capabilities.

Luffy’s angry punch pulled no punches; to him, as long as someone is his friend, they’re worth his full effort.

Anyone who tries to snatch away his friends, regardless of status, is his enemy.

That punch would create a large hole even in a wall; Charlos merely lost consciousness, proving his body’s ability to withstand blows is pretty descent.

A dark purple energy spreads from beneath Olga, gradually enveloping the auction house. Subsequently, everyone inside witnessed scenes unimaginable in their lifetime.

”Is that guy insane?! He even beat up three of the Heavenly Celestial Dragon in succession!!”

Inside the auction, Kid’s jaw nearly dropped. He thought he was fearless, but here was someone even more reckless; beating up the first Heavenly Celestial Dragon could be seen as anger, but he couldn’t comprehend the other two.

”It makes no difference, whether it’s one or three, the result is the same, but now, an Admiral will surely come...”

”Whatever, let’s go, Killer, we need to leave here before the Admiral arrives.”

Law, echoing Kid’s actions, was joined in disbelief by the Straw Hat Gang.

...

”Luffy!! Why did you beat up three people?! ”

”Huh? That guy wanted to buy Keimi and snatch Helo away, and I clearly only beat one up. I haven’t gotten around to the other two. Did you guys do it?”

Looking at Rozward and Charlilia with shattered glass headgear, Luffy firmly denied his recent actions.

”Little Feng, did you become me and beat them up?”

”Nope, although I really want to beat them too, I didn’t do it, everyone saw that it was Little Straw Hat who single-handedly knocked out those three.”

”Yes, you ignored us earlier and beat them terribly, now we should quickly get Keimi and leave.”

Sanji lit a cigarette, pondering what to do next. Olga’s hallucination wasn’t an illusion technique influencing others’ minds but an actual tangible illusion acting in reality,

The Straw Hat Gang lacked the ability to discern the illusion, believing that Luffy really beat up those three.

”Is that so... does it mean... I was asleep?! ”

Listening to his comrades, Luffy fell into self-doubt, then came to an illogical conclusion: maybe he sleepwalked and punched the remaining two Heavenly Celestial Dragon.

”How could that be possible!” xN

”Wait! Keimi is missing!!”

The Straw Hat Gang couldn’t understand Luffy’s logic, and Nami noticed that Keimi, who was previously on the auction stage, had vanished without a trace.

Meanwhile, a giant emerged from backstage, scattered slaves fled in various directions, and Rayleigh’s eyes were drawn to Luffy’s Straw Hat. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

”If you’re looking for that mermaid, she’s been rescued. Fishman Island is under Whitebeard’s protection and has complex connections with the Hundred Beasts, you don’t need to worry about its safety.

Speaking of which, that girl... really stirred things up.”

Hearing Keimi had been rescued, the Straw Hat Gang felt relieved and began pondering how to escape while encountering Rayleigh for the first time due to Luffy’s Straw Hat.

Compared to them, some other people got a bigger headache.

...

”Marshal Sengoku, someone has beaten up the Heavenly Celestial Dragon — and three of them moreover — treating them as hostages, so we must take action, right? ”

”Borsalino....”

”Don’t worry, Marshal Sengoku, leave it to me.”

The beating of the Heavenly Celestial Dragon can’t be ignored, but there’s Drake on the island and he can’t be caught along with them, requiring someone with exceptional acting skills to handle the issue.

As a Headquarter Admiral, Kizaru understood Drake’s mission and other aspects, ultimately volunteering for this task.

Simultaneously, Kuma followed other Peacekeepers and Sentomaru to the Shampodi Islands.

[Dragon, your son really takes after you when it comes to guts. Let me help you out one more time...]

This was his final task carried out as Kuma’s persona; after this, he would temporarily go offline, but before that, he would help the leader’s child safely leave this dangerous island.

As the Navy started to assemble on the Shampodi Islands, Olga had already escaped with Keimi, heading back to Ghost Island; Shampodi Islands’ affairs had nothing to do with her.
