Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 954: Chapter 953: You’re Not My Type, Chaotic Shampodi

”Watch out!”

In the blink of an eye, a hemispherical space enveloped the nearby area. In Law’s heart, Rami was likely his sister. Though not confirmed, an urge to protect her arose, wanting to transfer Rami to a safe place.

As for the children beside her...

Law didn’t care; he was no longer that naive child.

People change. Law’s initial dream was very ordinary—to become a great doctor like his father.

But after the Freyvans incident, his family and classmates all perished. His mind collapsed then, becoming cold and ruthless.

The goal of living on was to seek revenge on the world and to destroy everything in his remaining time.

Rosinante’s gentle redemption saved him, and the subsequent life made Law cherish his comrades, but the coldness in his heart didn’t dissipate. For those unrelated to him and who bring no benefit, he was unwilling to act.

Initially, he could only transfer one person; of course, he would protect the person suspected to be his sister. However, an awkward problem arose.

When he successfully used Room to move Rami to a safe position, in the next moment, Rami returned to the previous spot, holding bricks and rubble in her hand.

”Captain, her skills seem even better than yours....”

”.... ”

Law ignored the subordinate’s teasing and instead looked at Rami’s exposed wrist due to her movement, where a faint birthmark appeared.

It was the same birthmark as his biological sister’s. With this birthmark and those special connections, he had already identified her as his sister.

But when everything had a result, he didn’t want to forcefully acknowledge it.

If Rami still remembered him, the situation would be different, but at the moment, Rami was clearly in a state of amnesia, having no impression of him.

And he had things he must do; he had a massive grudge against Doflamingo, and he needed to avenge Rosinante.

Law didn’t even know if he could defeat Doflamingo.

If not, acknowledging Rami would only add to the sorrow. Knowing his sister is still alive and seemingly doing well was enough for him.

The matter of acknowledgment should wait until after he defeats Doflamingo.

”So cool, Sister Rami, you’re amazing!”

”Sister Rami, you’re so strong. Can you even crush bricks?”

In the eyes of the slum children, the image of Rami, who had brought them food and protection, was continuously elevated.

”You can learn too after studying. Now, go with these two uncles to the ship to find Sister Iscart, okay? Sister will come to find you soon.”

Rami waved to call over a few Hundred Beasts Fruit employees who were watching the fun nearby.

Bricks and rubble don’t fly out of thin air. Just now, there was an explosion in the restaurant next door, leading to this situation.

Ordinary people had fled in all directions, while the Hundred Beasts Fruit employees were used to it and wanted to see which rookie was fighting in this place, conveniently caught by Rami’s eye.

Because they often came to Shampodi on business, the employees here were very familiar with Rami and Iscar, so giving small orders was no problem.

The situation here was no longer suitable for children, better to let them leave first.

”Okay~”

Responding, they followed the employees of Hundred Beasts Fruit and left. Rami, on the other hand, looked at Law, now feeling that he was a bit strange, as if his target wasn’t to greet the Nun but herself.

She didn’t leave together, to prevent Law from affecting those children.

”Mr. Pirate, your way of flirting isn’t great, you know?”

”Cough, cough... Flirting?!”

Law almost choked on his own saliva. Rami’s words broke his defense ahead of time without encountering Luffy. After all, being told he’s flirting by his own sister is not a pleasant experience.

But in Rami’s eyes, a random stranger making up reasons to talk could only be considered flirting.

”Isn’t it? I have no interest in your type at all.”

”That’s truly a pity then...”

Law didn’t argue, instead following Rami’s words.

Bang!

Originally, Law wanted to probe more about Rami’s situation, but a bigger explosion occurred on the wall beside him. This time, it wasn’t just ordinary debris but blew out a big hole, and a figure flew out from it.

”If you want to fight, come out and face me, don’t you know how strong I am?!”

A member of the Long-armed Race angrily scolded the hole in the wall. Also a Super Rookie, the captain of the Broadcast Pirates - Seaqueen - Scratchmen Apoo, with a bounty of 198 million Belly.

He was originally just eating in the restaurant, but got into a fight with someone over a disagreement, precisely because they found each other displeasing, resulting in the current situation.

”Then stop glaring at me. Disgusting to look at. I can wipe you out now!”

Apoo’s opponent also came out of the tavern, with a head full of red hair, temporarily still a complete person.

The captain of the Kid Pirates, Eustass Kid, with a bounty of 315 million Belly, having the highest bounty among the current Super Rookies.

”Captain! Don’t fight, this is Shampodi!”

”Apoo sir! Calm down!”

Seeing their bosses about to fight, their subordinates began to persuade them. Causing too much commotion in Shampodi would be no good for anyone.

However, the Super Rookies who reached this point were all the baddest of the bad, not everyone could think calmly.

Kid’s hand gathered a force of magnetism, pulling forks, knives in the restaurant, and surrounding metal objects towards Apoo under his control.

He had eaten the Paramecia-type: Magnet-Magnet Fruit, becoming a Magnetic Man, capable of creating magnetic fields and magnetizing and controlling metal objects.

In personality, Kid was the most violent among this group of Super Rookies, easily angered by trivial matters. He didn’t care about those around him with his attack, with the flying forks and knives also encompassing Rami and Law in their range.

With their skills, evading such attacks wasn’t difficult. Normally, Law wouldn’t be angry over such matters and would even greet Kid with a smile, but this time it was different. Seeing Kid’s indiscriminate attack, a fury rose in Law’s heart.

”ROOM!”

The space of the Op-Op Fruit expanded again, and Law had already drawn his sword, slashing towards Kid, who intended to continue attacking Apoo.

Although Kid dodged the strike, seeing the floating rocks behind him, he had a bad feeling.

”Conducting Wand!”

Law pointed his finger upwards, sending a massive amount of rocks and tables from behind flying toward Kid, as if burying him alive. Simultaneously, a spinning scimitar also slashed toward Law, while a large pillar smashed towards the person intending to cut Law down.

The once peaceful scene quickly vanished, turning into a chaotic battleground gathering forces from all directions.
