Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 955: Chapter 954: There Are 2 Types of Redheads: One Called Red Hair, One Called Kid

The one attacking Law is Killer from the Kid Pirates, known as the Slaughter Warrior, with a bounty of 162 million Belly, while the one attacking Killer is Urouge, the Captain of the Fallen Monk Pirates, with a bounty of 108 million Belly.

The captain’s personality determines the crew’s style. Under Hawkins, pirates dress like a sect, Bege’s crew is dressed like the mafia, and Law’s crew also has a uniform.

These are just the visible appearances, and even more influential are the invisible styles of operation. For example, the Kid Pirates’ propensity for battle. When Kid and Apoo didn’t get along, Urouge and Killer started fighting, gradually moving closer towards Kid.

Urouge is large in stature but not as agile as Killer. After Killer noticed Law’s actions, he abandoned Urouge and turned to attack Law, which made Urouge unhappy, and naturally, he followed suit.

”You can’t attack Kid!”

”What are you looking at? Masked bastard! Your opponent is me!”

Boom!

The pillared weapon in Urouge’s hand missed Killer, landing on the ground beside them, as Killer swung his scythe forward, slicing towards Urouge behind him.

The blade scraped a series of sparks against Urouge’s pillar, forcing Urouge to temporarily abandon his weapon and punch towards Killer.

This punch shouldn’t have hit, but when Killer attacked Law, he had already entered Law’s domain. With a flick of Law’s finger, Killer’s position shifted, causing Urouge’s punch, which should have missed, to hit the target.

”Cooperating well, huh? How about teaming up to solve these guys?”

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Seeing that Law actively cooperated with him, Urouge immediately proposed working together.

”Ahahaha, want to take care of him? Count me in then, I’ve been annoyed with him for a while.”

Law hadn’t responded yet when Apoo chimed in. He was the one who initially fought with Kid, so he wouldn’t miss this chance.

”I just want to teach him a lesson.”

Glancing at Rami, who was watching the commotion with a tilted head, Law intended to leave a better impression, not wanting to seem too savage. But what he wants doesn’t mean Kid agrees.

”Trafalgar! You bastard!”

Kid, buried under rubble, crawled out, glanced at Killer who had taken a punch from Urouge, and then looked at Law attacking him, making his already bad mood even worse.

”Team up? In that case, all of you can go to hell!”

Looking at the three captains with the intention of teaming up, Kid was not afraid. Instead, he began to attract surrounding weapons, metal gradually gathering, finally forming two fierce mechanical arms.

In terms of courage and recklessness, Kid was not inferior to anyone. On the original timeline, he dared to provoke the Red Hair shortly after entering the New World, losing an arm without even meeting them.

Later he encountered Kaidou, and even after a Thundering Hakken couldn’t subdue him, he gained confidence in the battle on Ghost Island and challenged the Red Hair again.

He did not realize, even in the battle against Big Mom, the main damage output was by Law. Without the Straw Hat Luffy and the good guy Oden’s buff, he was not truly a match for a Four Emperor.

Faced with the Red Hair, he behaved extremely bravely, meeting a defeat under Kamusari.

Having not yet experienced a beating, he’s even braver now. Even if they really team up, he’s willing to give it a try.

”Miss Rami, this isn’t a safe place. Shall I escort you out first?”

”Is this your follow-up to the flirtation? These people all seem to know you.”

”I think Miss Rami misunderstood...”

Rami was merely joking. Seeing Law’s embarrassed and awkward expressions, she found it amusing, feeling a strangely familiar vibe. She teased him with a few more lines.

Rami didn’t think she had such irresistible charm.

”Stop flirting and fighting! If you’re capable, block all attacks for me!”

Kid’s hands began to close, with mechanical arms striking towards Rami and others. Though Urouge and Apoo suggested teaming up, they chose evasion over defense at this moment.

The Pirate Alliance lacks trust. Though they have a common enemy, they remain cautious with each other, not helping to absorb attacks unless it’s life-and-death.

Law intended to transfer Rami, but Rami stopped him beforehand.

”Pirate sir, using your powers on others so often is quite rude.”

Rami’s fingers liquefied, flicking a few drops of colorful liquid that landed precisely on Kid’s mechanical arms.

Upon contact with the metallic arms, a large amount of foam began to proliferate, quickly rendering Kid’s mechanical arms into nothing, leaving only a pungent-smelling liquid.

”What?!”

”Iron-eating Bacteria.”

One of the bacteria cultivated in Alola Muk, special strains that consume metal. Against Kid’s mechanical arms, these bacteria effectively countered them.

Initially, it was an unintended effect, but since Kid actively attacked her, she wouldn’t show mercy. Despite both having red hair, he hasn’t eaten the Face-Face Fruit, nor possesses that strength.

Before Kid could react, Rami used Soru to appear in front of him, gently slapping his face in front of pirates from several crews.

Though the direct damage wasn’t high, the humiliation was severe.

Being slapped publicly by a woman was a great shame for Kid. The Kid Pirates thought he would soon explode, yet Kid said nothing.

”Kid... Kid, what’s wrong with you?!”

Killer was about to ask Kid’s plan but noticed his face turning greenish-blue, eyes with several blood strands, not responding to multiple calls.

”Stop!”

Killer tried to stop Rami but found himself similarly stiff.

”Oops, sorry, forgot to mention the move’s name. Your captain got hit by my poison. Those with strong physiques should recover in an hour or two. Remember not to touch him, or it’ll spread.

Moshi Moshi, Uncle Tiger? What’s up?”

Rami answered a call casually while walking towards where the kids had just left.

Kid Pirates’ captain and vice-captain were now stiff. The rest didn’t know what to do, standing alertly and watching the surrounding pirates warily.

The others dared not approach Rami, defeating a pirate with a bounty of 315 million Belly with a slap exceeded their understanding.

Even Drake, lurking in the shadows hoping to impress Hundred Beasts, was stunned. It was completely different from what he envisioned.
