The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

When Yao Shi received Liu Yici’s call, he had just stepped out of the boss’s office.

The Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching, and the series of arrangements for the store had already been implemented long ago.

However, Dong Jun Tian was still a bit uneasy.

He called Yao Shi and a few managers of the store and repeatedly gave some instructions.

Once he brought up the few points that seemed inappropriate, everyone discussed and resolved them, then he announced the meeting adjourned.

Yao Shi saw that the caller ID showed a string of unfamiliar numbers, frowning slightly.

Due to professional reasons, he usually answers almost all calls, afraid of missing an important one.

So when he heard the other party finish introducing herself, he couldn’t help but be a little surprised.

This wealthy lady suddenly looking for him?

Could it be that there’s a celebration in her family?

Yao Shi asked with some anticipation, ”Mrs. Liu, is there something I can do for you?”

Liu Yici chuckled and said, ”Boss Yao, it’s like this...”

Liu Yici, being a shrewd person mixing in with the wealthy, didn’t explain the situation too explicitly to Yao Shi.

The main thing was to remind Yao Shi to support Fu Yu a bit more, as long as he can handle this matter well, she would surely introduce more clients to the music restaurant in the future.

Yao Shi was quite pleased to hear this.

This is a good thing!

Yao Shi didn’t hesitate at all and directly agreed to this matter.

Just at this time, Zhao Meng called to help Fu Yu ask for a day off.

Yao Shi laughed, it was just like being handed a pillow when you wanted to doze off.

So he mentioned the matter of Liu Yici reaching out.

And after Liu Yici had a word with Yao Shi, she thought about it and felt it was better to give Fu Yu a heads-up.

However, it was a bit late, so Liu Yici contacted Fu Yu the next morning.

Fu Yu was waiting for the bus at the stop when his phone rang. Seeing that it was Liu Yici calling, he was pleasantly surprised.

Previously, both times Liu Yici contacted him, it was to introduce business. What good news could it be this time?

Fu Yu answered the call, ”Hello, Sister Liu?”

Liu Yici laughed, ”Xiaofu, there’s something, let me tell you...”

In front of Fu Yu, Liu Yici did not hide anything and truthfully explained the situation.

Fu Yu was completely stunned after listening!

This... is a lot to take in!

He almost believed it himself after being praised by Liu Yici!

So, am I really that amazing?

After a while, Fu Yu asked, ”Sister Liu, you mean...”

Liu Yici chuckled immediately, ”It’s nothing major, don’t worry, just accept the orders when the time comes, and arrange the dining according to the requirements. As for the other things, I’ll help handle the contacts, and I’ve also informed Boss Yao.”

”Oh, by the way, about the service fee, I inquired a bit, and generally, for a master chef going door-to-door, the service fee is around 2000 to 3000. But my friends, none of them lack money, so I quoted them 5000 to 8000 for now. When the time comes, you can set the price according to the scale of the dining.”

After saying that, fearing Fu Yu might refuse the money, she especially emphasized: ”I’m telling you, they really aren’t short on money, don’t be modest! And if you arrange the dining well, and they enjoy the meal, they could become long-term clients. Xiaofu, you really have to give it your all!”

Fu Yu felt warm inside.

No matter if Liu Yici had other motives, what she was doing was indeed a help to him.

Fu Yu sincerely said, ”Thank you, Sister Liu.”

Liu Yici chuckled, ”Xiaofu, no need to be so polite between us. I’m introducing business for you, actually, it’s beneficial for me too. They need a favor from me, and I help connect them to you, they’ll owe me a favor, and surely they’ll be grateful.”

”This is how it is between people, helping each other with mutual benefits ensures long-term relationships. It’s like I’m borrowing your shine to gain these favors. In the future, if you have any matters, just tell me. In Bei’an, your Sister Liu does have some connections.”

It’s quite strange.

There’s always some kind of affinity between people.

The first time Liu Yici met Fu Yu, she had a good impression of this young and handsome chef.

They’d only dealt with each other twice, but during the conversation, she naturally relaxed.

What Liu Yici said wasn’t exaggerated.

Fu Yu believed her without a doubt.

The wealthy always hang out with the wealthy.

Relationships and networks are interconnected.

Fu Yu nodded, ”Thank you so much, Sister Liu. I’m now heading to the music restaurant. If you have time, feel free to come and find me.”

Liu Yici couldn’t specify a time immediately, so they agreed she’d go to the music restaurant directly when she’s free.

Fu Yu took the bus to the music restaurant.

After entering, just as he was about to punch in, Qu Jing, who was waiting in the lobby, took him directly to the boss’s office.

”Chef Fu, the boss is waiting for you.”

Fu Yu wasn’t surprised, knowing Yao Shi most likely wanted to notify him about Liu Yici’s matter.

In the office.

Yao Shi saw Fu Yu, waved him over with a smile, and signaled him to sit on the guest chair.

After Qu Jing left, he asked, ”Did Mrs. Liu get in touch with you?”

Fu Yu nodded, ”I received a call from Sister Liu on my way here, and she told me about it.”

Yao Shi smiled, ”This Mrs. Liu seems to be a great patron...”

Yao Shi was speaking from the heart.

If Liu Yici could really help introduce some stable clients, and they could be retained, then there would be more opportunities for orders in the future.

Moreover, given Liu Yici’s status, even though she didn’t explicitly say it, it’s likely that the guests she’s bringing in are wealthy and not short on money.

That’s wonderful!

Their music restaurant revolves around high-end table dining as the main route, and this type of customer is definitely welcome.

Yao Shi called Fu Yu over, intending to discuss whether Liu Yici’s connections could be kept at the music restaurant.

If it were before, Yao Shi might have hesitated, considering whether to introduce Liu Yici to Qianlima or keep her on their side.

But now,

Yao Shi felt the need to consider himself more.

After all, no one really minds earning more money!

Fu Yu had no objections to Yao Shi’s arrangement.

In his eyes, it was better to keep Liu Yici’s clientele at the music restaurant.

Because Yao Shi was always generous, and surely the service fee cut would be less harsh.

In Qianlima, every time a chef went to a customer’s home for service, two hundred yuan was deducted from their salary as the store’s commission.

This fee is not much in terms of the received service fee.

But Fu Yu still felt quite a pinch.

And indeed, Yao Shi then mentioned this matter: ”Regarding door-to-door services, here we include all fees in the customer’s order, so you can keep your service fee.”

Fu Yu’s eyes lit up.

The customer pays the bill!

Not a penny deducted!

Worthy of being Chef Yao!

Brilliant!
