Chapter 2379: Chapter 2272: Poisoned

Ji Chuan laughed.

”Alright, since you’ve decided on Cheng Yue, just let him know? Have him go upstairs for the consultation in half an hour,” An Hao said.

”Okay!” Ji Chuan picked up the phone and called the office, ”Let Cheng Yue take the call... What? He went to the clinic? What’s he doing at the clinic at this time?”

”Sorry, Director Ji, I’m not sure about that!”

”Got it.” Ji Chuan hung up the phone, and it rang again in less than two seconds. He quickly answered, ”What’s up?”

It was Cheng Yue calling, and his tone was urgent and angry: ”Director Ji, do you even know how to diagnose? If you don’t know how to prescribe, don’t just randomly prescribe! You might end up costing someone’s life!”

Ji Chuan was taken aback by Cheng Yue’s words: ”Cheng Yue, make yourself clear!”

”The asthma medication for Yan Huan is yours, right?”

”Yes! What’s wrong?”

”She’s experiencing medication poisoning!” Cheng Yue shouted and abruptly hung up.

Ji Chuan stood up abruptly: ”An Hao, you go back first! I’ll go to the outpatient building to take a look, and I’ll personally attend the consultation later!”

An Hao had already overheard the conversation through the phone and quickly said, ”In that case, go quickly! Check on Yan Huan’s condition!”

”Okay.” Ji Chuan walked out swiftly, his white coat billowing in the air.

Internal Medicine Clinic.

Feng Yuzhi supported Yan Huan as they walked out of the consultation room, with Cheng Yue following closely behind.

”Why are you following my Huanhuan? Go away, I don’t want to see you here!” Feng Yuzhi angrily shooed Cheng Yue.

”Auntie, I know you don’t like me, but Yan Huan is sick and I’m really worried. The hospital is short on beds right now, let me help Huanhuan with this issue! It pains me to see her suffering!” Cheng Yue explained as he walked.

”There’s no need! I still know some people here! If worst comes to worst, I have Ji Chuan; it’s not your place to handle this!” Feng Yuzhi couldn’t forgive Cheng Yue, and she couldn’t keep calm facing this young man.

”Mom! Can you stop arguing? Give my ears a rest!” Yan Huan said irritably.

”Auntie, Yan Huan!” Ji Chuan spotted the mother and daughter from afar and jogged to them, ”What’s going on? I heard something about medication poisoning?”

”Yes, that’s what the doctor said! He just prescribed some medication for an IV infusion!” Feng Yuzhi explained.

Ji Chuan glanced at Yan Huan, who looked exhausted and worn out, and felt a pang of sadness: ”Auntie, you go to the ward first; I’ll make arrangements! Let Huanhuan start the IV infusion first.”

”Thank you!” Feng Yuzhi expressed her gratitude.

”You’re welcome! Auntie, go quickly, don’t worry!” Ji Chuan saw the mother and daughter leave and then turned to Cheng Yue, whose face was heavy with thoughts, and said, ”Go help take care of them! I’m going!”

”Hey... Director Ji...” Cheng Yue called out.

”What’s the matter?” Ji Chuan paused.

”Sorry for earlier! My attitude was too aggressive.”

Ji Chuan didn’t say anything, just patted him on the shoulder and left.

Internist Lin saw Ji Chuan coming and quickly greeted him, ”You’re here to ask about Yan Huan’s condition, right?”

During their earlier phone call, he had overheard everything.

”What’s the situation?” Ji Chuan asked.

”It turns out it was medication poisoning!” Dr. Lin was puzzled, ”I had her undergo several tests! It’s really strange, everything was normal, yet she took medication! And she overdosed, leading to a mild poisoning condition.”
