Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2365: Chapter 2358: Visiting to Apologize

”Since you’ve already had a drink, Qin brother, I’ll have one too!” He Fusheng tilted his head back and emptied his cup of wine, ”Good wine!”

”Then let’s have a few more drinks!” Qin Jian personally refilled He Fusheng’s cup, ”Today, let’s drink to our heart’s content! We won’t leave until we’re drunk!”

An Hao watched Qin Jian drink cup after cup, knowing very well that he was also having a hard time.

Their son was only five years old, just brought back a few days ago, and now had to be sent away again.

As the child’s father, it’s natural that he wouldn’t feel comfortable.

”Qin Jian...” An Hao gently patted him, ”Our son is going to stay for a while, we’re considering his health.”

Qin Jian turned his head, with slightly red eyes glistening with tears. He smiled and said in a deep voice, ”I know! I’m not sad!”

An Hao reached out to wipe away the tears at the corner of his eye, ”The child will grow up one day!”

”I know. It’s just that he’s so young, he shouldn’t have to bear so much pain so early!” Qin Jian sighed deeply.

”Dad, I’m not in pain! Don’t be sad!” Ning Chenguang gently hugged Qin Jian, looking up with big, watery eyes, ”Didn’t you tell me, real men don’t easily shed tears?”

”These aren’t tears!” Qin Jian smiled and patted Chenguang’s head.

”I know, Uncle’s eyes are just sweating!” He Yue tilted her head, grinning as she looked at Qin Jian.

Her words made everyone laugh.

”Silly!” Ning Chenguang teased her, ”How can people’s eyes sweat?”

”Qin brother, don’t be upset! If you and your wife have the time, you can come and stay with us in our little mountain village for a while! If Guangguang gets better, you can take him home anytime!” He Fusheng consoled.

”Thank you, Brother He! Come on, let’s drink a few more cups!”

”No, no! We have to catch a bus this afternoon, so I won’t drink any more! This wine is good, but don’t overdo it! Otherwise, if you and I get drunk, my wife will surely be mad at me when we get back! Qin brother, sister-in-law, let’s eat? My stomach is growling already!” He Fusheng said.

”Alright! Let’s listen to Brother He then!”

Qin Jian put away the wine glasses, and An Hao went to the kitchen to serve the rice into bowls and bring them to the table, as the family gathered around to prepare for the meal.

At that moment, there was a loud knock on the door.

”I’ll go check!” An Hao got up to open the door, and was slightly startled to see Wang Zhong standing there.

He was carrying bags of food, and beside him was his son, Wang Xiaohu, who looked like a round ball.

”An Hao! I brought this troublesome brat to visit Chenguang!” Wang Zhong smiled apologetically.

”There’s no need, Guangguang is fine now. You’d better go back!” An Hao could not bring herself to accept them, as her heart couldn’t accept those who hurt her son.

Wang Zhong was a good person, always feeling very sorry whenever this incident was mentioned.

But to Wang Xiaohu, he didn’t feel he had done anything wrong.

An insincere apology was something An Hao did not need.

”Please! An Hao, Xiaohu’s actions were wrong, both Liao Ting and I feel guilty. Please give me a chance to make it up to your child!” Wang Zhong pleaded.

”Let them in,” Qin Jian spoke up.

Only then did An Hao step aside to let the father and son in.

”Big brother! Who’s that chubby boy?” He Yue paused her eating and leaned close to Ning Chenguang’s ear to ask.
