Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2363: Chapter 2356: You Shut Up! Don’t Talk!

”Little brother! Little brother!” He Yue was seeing Ning Chenguang in this state for the first time, her face turned pale with fear. She squatted down to embrace Ning Chenguang, ”What’s wrong? Little brother, don’t scare me!”

”Yueyue! My ears are killing me with noise! So noisy! It’s driving me crazy! Ahhhhh!” Ning Chenguang was in agonizing pain, rolling wildly on the ground.

”Guangguang! Are you okay?” The person sitting in the car was Wang Xiaohu’s father, Wang Zhong. He saw Ning Chenguang like this, quickly jumped down from the car to check the situation.

”Don’t bother me! It’s driving me crazy!” Ning Chenguang shouted hoarsely.

”Guangguang! Guangguang!” Wang Zhong looked at Ning Chenguang with deep regret. ”I’m sorry, it’s all Xiaohu’s fault. Uncle will definitely educate him when we get back!”

”Stop making noise!” Just a moment ago, He Yue was calm but suddenly became angry. She glared fiercely at Wang Zhong and shouted, ”Didn’t you hear my little brother saying it’s too noisy in his ears? Shut up! Don’t talk anymore!”

Wang Zhong didn’t expect a little girl, who looked only about four or five years old, to speak to him so fiercely. He was taken aback and, smiling with guilt, said, ”Uncle won’t speak anymore! Uncle will take him to find his parents, okay?”

”Okay.” He Yue nodded.

After getting He Yue’s consent, Wang Zhong hurriedly picked up He Yue to sit in the car.

”Don’t take the car!” He Yue remembered what An Hao had said, ”Little brother can’t take the car! Little brother is afraid of noise! You have to carry little brother back!”

”Alright then.” Wang Zhong smiled helplessly; at his age, he was being disciplined by a little girl to the point of being stunned.

.........

It was approaching noon. An Hao was at home preparing lunch.

He Fusheng was a visitor from a distance, so naturally, he should be treated with courtesy and even better hospitality.

She processed the wild game He Fusheng had sent; whatever needed marinating was marinated, and she kept one for stew at noon and braised a fish as well.

Two cold dishes and four hot dishes, chicken, duck, fish, and meat—everything was complete.

Qin Jian even brought out Moutai wine to entertain He Fusheng.

”Qin Jian, Brother He! Come to the table for a meal!” An Hao set up the table and called them.

”I wonder where those two kids have run off to?” He Fusheng still worried about the two children who hadn’t come back.

”You guys enjoy the drinks. I’ll go out and look for them! They can’t have gone far!” An Hao said with a smile, untying her apron, ”You’re not going to work this afternoon, right? If not, have a few more drinks with Brother He!”

”Don’t worry. Go get the kids back!”

”Okay.” An Hao changed her shoes and just opened the door when she bumped into Wang Zhong. He was sweating profusely, holding Ning Chenguang, who was covering his ears and had his eyes tightly closed, in his arms.

”What happened?” An Hao’s expression changed abruptly, ”Is he having an episode again?”

”It’s all his fault! He drove by us in the car, and my little brother can’t hear the sound of the car. Once he heard it, he was in such pain!” As He Yue spoke, her eyes turned red, and she pouted in grievance.

”Sorry, this is indeed the case as he said!” Wang Zhong was very apologetic, ”I’ll be more mindful in the future!”

He knew it was his son who caused this to happen.

That day, after returning from the kindergarten, he gave Wang Xiaohu a good scolding. Liao Ting also realized the seriousness of the situation, afraid that Qin Jian and his wife would hold it against them and not let it go in the future. In a fit of anger, she too began to scold the child.

That entire evening, the husband and wife duo teamed up in a mixed-gender scolding match!
