Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2121: Chapter 2116: First Glimpse of Clues

During the first leak incident, Lin Qiushu was present, but An Hao and he did not suspect Lin Qiushu.

However, An Hui kept claiming innocence. At this time, he and An Hao already had some suspicion about Lin Qiushu because a person who wants to leak secrets must have means to sell them.

Lin Qiushu was the only one who had lived abroad for many years and engaged in business, leading them to have certain thoughts about her.

However, Lin Qiushu’s motive for leaking secrets was unfounded; it felt unreasonable no matter how they analyzed it.

But during the second leak incident, the time of data exposure, Lin Qiushu was present and was the only person consistently with the data.

Later in the investigation, it was proven that Lin Qiushu was never alone with the data, and no evidence of Lin Qiushu leaking secrets was found.

Similarly, the motive remained unclear.

In both incidents, Lin Qiushu happened to be involved, making her suspect.

The third time, during the meal at Nanguofeng.

Lin Qiushu and Boss Hou had always had dealings, and from early on, Qin Jian suspected his motives were impure. Yet, they had kept a close watch for a long time; this cunning fox never reveals his tail.

And during that time, An Hao heard Lin Qiushu talking about data, about transaction of information, which further intensified An Hao’s suspicion about Lin Qiushu.

Considering these incidents, they began to suspect Lin Qiushu was a spy, yet they could never find a motive for Lin Qiushu to act this way. Later, during the investigation, they didn’t see any further actions from Lin Qiushu.

This remained the place where Qin Jian was always puzzled.

Now, he understood. The original leak was not done by Lin Qiushu; the culprits were Guan Qing and Hen Zhiyuan’s carelessness.

Thus, it could be concluded that Lin Qiushu was not a spy.

The first incident was accidental.

The second incident was coincidental.

The third time, when they were dining at Nanguofeng, Boss Hou appeared for business negotiations; perhaps it was not accidental.

Upon reanalyzing the process of data leaks, one could easily spot questions.

At that time, the visitors to the hospital were all relatives and friends.

Before encountering Lin Qiushu and Yuan Yunong, he had carried out secret missions, but those secrets were never leaked.

Since meeting them, the secrets frequently leaked.

Now, through Qin Jian’s analysis, he could basically exclude Lin Qiushu.

Oh, there was one more crucial thing: the day the secrets were leaked, Lin Qiushu directly appeared at the scene.

And, before the secrets leaked, Yuan Yunong had visited several times due to her child fighting at kindergarten, and when he was in a coma, she remarkably appeared at the hospital to visit him.

These coincidences are too numerous!

Everything seemed natural, common, but upon detailed analysis, a necessary connection lurked behind every accident.

Especially considering last night, Yuan Yunong casually mentioned the smell of gunpowder, making Qin Jian almost certain, that excluding Lin Qiushu, Yuan Yunong was likely the spy.

If Yuan Yunong was indeed the spy lurking around them, it could be said this spy was truly formidable.

She could, in such a short visiting time, deduce his departure purpose and timing through but a few words.
