Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2049: Chapter 2042: Not One to Be Trifled With

”Mom, your blood pressure has been high recently! You can’t have too much emotional fluctuation! So I’ve told the kindergarten teachers to call me directly if there’s anything, and I’ll handle it. If I’m not available, it’ll be handed over to guard Xiaoliu,” An Hao said.

”No wonder!” Zhang Yun nodded, looking at her two little grandsons, each pulling a longer face than the other, ”What’s wrong? Did you cause trouble at the kindergarten again?”

These two little guys have clashed with the grandson of Commissioner Wang’s family, fighting at every turn!

They keep fighting despite losing consistently.

But, two against one little chubby kid is still manageable, so Zhang Yun isn’t worried about them suffering big losses.

”Fighting again! With Wang Xiaohu, as usual!” An Hao poured two cups of water and handed them to the two children.

”Did you scold them?” Zhang Yun asked, noticing the grandsons’ bad mood.

”No,” An Hao frowned, ”Don’t even mention it! Qin Jian used to say that Xiaohu really needed a good lesson, and I didn’t quite believe it. How naughty can a child be? Now I realize it’s not just mischief; this kid is poorly raised!”

”Exactly. His grandmother was in the art troupe and was a beauty in the army when she was young! Very high standards! Doesn’t even look at people properly! You already know about his mother! Unfortunately, Commissioner Wang and his son are busy in the army, though they frequently discipline this child! But that’s only a minority of the time; most of it, he’s with his mom and grandmother! It’s those two who have spoiled the child!” Zhang Yun said.

”Yes! Raising a child without educating him! Always causing trouble, and never reasonable! He’s young now, but what about later on?” An Hao was also filled with frustration.

Thinking about Liao Ting’s attitude made her even more annoyed.

”Nowadays, if they’re not educated, society will eventually take care of it when they’re grown. Then it won’t be just words, but lessons learned through blood and tears,” Zhang Yun sighed, ”Your child was good when young. Totally led astray by family!”

”Just don’t know what they’re thinking. The child acts like a little Overlord, not tolerating any grievances!”

”You don’t know, Liao Ting and Commissioner Wang’s son—Wang Zhong, were married for many years without a child! The couple was quite upset, even planning to adopt. Unexpectedly, Liao Ting got pregnant, and that’s how they had Wang Xiaohu! With strict family planning now, every household has only one child, so Wang Xiaohu is treasured.”

”I see.”

”This family is hard to deal with. Commissioner Wang and Wang Zhong are quite decent! But those two women in the family aren’t easy to handle. So, let Yangyang and Guangguang steer clear of Wang Xiaohu,” Zhang Yun advised.

In her youth, she had a conflict with Liao Ting’s mother-in-law, and for many years, they barely spoke.

The two families also seldom interacted.

”Grandma! We didn’t provoke that Wang Xiaohu. He was badmouthing Dad everywhere, saying Dad is a traitor and a bad guy, wanting to fight us!” Ning Chenyang said.

”Did you get hurt?” Zhang Yun quickly checked the children for injuries upon hearing about the fight.

”No. This time we won through clever tactics!” Ning Chenguang said.

”Good kids! Don’t cause trouble, and if others bother you, don’t be afraid! Remember, no matter what, Mommy will always protect you!”
