Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2027: Chapter 2020: A Chance Encounter

”Ah? Doesn’t this affect your business...”

”It’s fine. There will be plenty of opportunities to collaborate in the future! Besides, everyone can understand when such things happen.” Compared to business, Lin Qiushu still felt that people were more important.

”Alright then. Sorry for the trouble this time. When Qin Jian gets better, both of us will treat you to a meal.” An Hao said.

”No need for formalities between family.” Lin Qiushu patted An Hao’s shoulder and said, ”I’ll sit down and take good care of him!”

”Alright. You should get going now, take care of your company business first.” An Hao didn’t want to delay her.

”Sure. Call me if you need anything! If you need my help, I’ll come right away.”

”Okay.”

Not long after Lin Qiushu left, Zhang Yun, Yan Luquan, and Feng Yuzhi arrived.

Soon after, Yan Ye also arrived.

Gu Shuangshuang and Tian Niu came as well, making the room crowded with people.

Commander Ning couldn’t make it for a while as he was tied up with work.

”You’re all here?” An Hao quickly stood up to greet them.

”Yes! I heard about the car accident. What exactly happened? How did something like this happen so early in the morning!” Zhang Yun asked anxiously.

”I don’t know either! Qiushu said it was a collision between a military vehicle and a bus!”

After An Hao finished speaking, she got up to pour them some water, but upon seeing the kettle was empty, she grabbed a thermos and went out to fetch some: ”Please sit down! I’ll be right back!”

”An Hao, don’t trouble yourself! We won’t drink water, we just wanted to see if Qin Jian is okay, and then we’ll leave.” Yan Luquan quickly stopped An Hao.

”Yeah, there are no cups here either. Don’t worry about it!” Feng Yuzhi chimed in.

”Let her go! Qin Jian will need water when he wakes up.”

Zhang Yun said, looking at her son with concern.

With a thermos in hand, An Hao went out, and when she went downstairs to get water, she happened to run into Yuan Yunong.

”Doctor An!” Yuan Yunong saw her too and quickly approached to greet her, ”Do you work at this hospital?”

”No. I came to... visit a patient!” An Hao smiled, ”What about you? Teacher Yuan! Why are you here?”

Yuan Yunong waved her examination form and said gloomily, ”I’ve been feeling unwell these days! Since I’m off today, I thought I’d come to the hospital for a check-up.”

”What’s the result?” An Hao asked.

”Not bad. It’s an old problem; I accidentally hurt my back while working and taking care of children years ago. I feel discomfort now and then! This time, the discomfort lasted longer, so I wanted to see if it had worsened!”

”You’re still so young, having a back injury isn’t good.”

Yuan Yunong held her back, regretting, ”It’s already hurt. I just have to take good care of myself from now on. Oh, right, can you take a look for me! Is this really not that serious?”

An Hao initially didn’t want to talk much with Yuan Yunong, but since she asked, she took a look.

”I’m not an orthopedic doctor. But I understand a bit...” An Hao glanced at the examination report, ”Your back injury isn’t light!”

”It’s alright.”

”Be careful! Avoid strenuous activities as much as possible.” An Hao kindly reminded.

”Thank you.”

”Teacher Yuan, I have things to do, so I’ll leave first. Let’s talk later!” An Hao remembered she needed to get water, so she didn’t chat further with her.
