Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2048: Chapter 2041: How Much Is an Apology Worth?

By the time she came to her senses, An Hao had already left the kindergarten with the children.

”What’s the use of having you, you idiot!” Wang Xiaohu got angry when he saw his mom hadn’t avenged him. Shrieking loudly, he plopped down on the cold floor and started throwing a tantrum.

Teacher Liu saw this and rushed over to console him, but Wang Xiaohu slapped her in the face.

”Wang Xiaohu! Treating a teacher like this is wrong! How could you hit a teacher?” Yuan Yunong said angrily, watching Wang Xiaohu’s behavior.

”It’s fine, it’s fine,” Teacher Liu quickly said, not wanting to cause trouble. ”The child’s strength isn’t much. I’m sure he didn’t intend to hit me!”

Seeing Teacher Liu take it so calmly, Yuan Yunong didn’t have much to say either.

”Xiaohu’s mom. You can leave this matter for our school to handle. We will persuade Dr. An to come and apologize to you. Since the mediation between you two didn’t resolve anything, how about just going home for now?” Teacher Liu gently advised.

”Is an apology enough?” Liao Ting said angrily, ”How much is an apology worth?”

”We can coordinate with Dr. An’s family and see if they can offer some compensation?”

”Does my family need money? Who cares about that small change?”

Liao Ting, frustrated and with nowhere to release it, vented her anger on the non-confrontational Teacher Liu.

”Why didn’t you knock a tooth out when you had the chance? After losing face with Dr. An, you come back to trouble us? Something you couldn’t even do yourself, how can we be expected to do it?”

Yuan Yunong couldn’t stand Liao Ting’s outrageous behavior any longer.

”Is this your attitude? Don’t want to work at the kindergarten anymore?” Liao Ting shouted arrogantly, ”If you don’t want to work here, I can have you gone by tomorrow!”

Yuan Yunong, who usually avoided making enemies, was not a pushover. ”Does your family own this kindergarten? I’ve seen plenty of military families, none as unreasonable as you! Fine, I’ll just stop working at this kindergarten! If you have the guts, go ahead and get rid of me!”

”Mom! Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang hit me! Hit back for me, stop wasting time arguing with the teacher! If you keep talking, they’ll really leave!” Wang Xiaohu cried, refusing to let it go.

This spoiled child always got his way in everything.

Since childhood, he had never been wronged. Now being hit by those twin brothers, he definitely wouldn’t let it slide!

”Enough! Stop bothering me! Let’s go! We’re going home!” Liao Ting was annoyed by the child’s crying.

”We must hit back! We absolutely have to! Otherwise, I’m not leaving! I’ll tell grandma!” Wang Xiaohu lay on the ground causing a scene.

The ground was cold in winter, and Liao Ting, worried her child might catch something, reluctantly agreed.

She pulled Wang Xiaohu along, walking quickly to catch up with An Hao and her sons!

They both wasted too much time and didn’t catch them on the way, so they could only angrily knock on An Hao’s door.

An Hao returned home with the two children, and Zhang Yun came out of the house upon hearing the noise.

Seeing An Hao had already brought the kids back, she was puzzled, ”You finished work early today?”

”The kindergarten called about something, so I came back,” An Hao said while taking off her coat.

”Strange? I was home, so why didn’t the kindergarten call me?” Zhang Yun said.
