Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Capítulo 2007: Chapter 2000: Next Generation Training Program

She also needed to gather an alliance for herself.

She couldn’t let the father and son torment the two kids.

“Mom…” An Hao smiled sheepishly, “I support appropriate exercise.”

“You…” Zhang Yun was momentarily taken aback by An Hao’s words, and after a while, she spat out angrily, “You’re such an ungrateful child!”

“Pfft!” An Hao couldn’t help but laugh, “Mom, that’s not how you use ‘ungrateful child’.”

“Hmph.” Zhang Yun snorted lightly and fell silent.

“In that case, I’ll come up with a plan directly to ensure proper exercise for these two kids, to build them into strong bodies.” Seeing Zhang Yun wasn’t opposing, Ning Yibin quickly put forward his plan.

Last year, when the kids kept falling ill, he wanted them to exercise with Qin Jian.

After just one day, Qin Jian brought the kids back covered in scratches from falls, and she was heartbroken.

She insisted that the kids shouldn’t go again.

Every time it was brought up, she’d make a fuss.

As if Zhang Yun were the only real family for the kids, and no one else mattered.

“Alright. When the kids are no longer feverish, I’ll take them for exercise every day,” Qin Jian agreed.

So, that evening, a plan was formed to build the kids’ healthy bodies.

In the middle of the night, An Hao fed the kids several times, covered them well and broke out in a sweat.

The kids’ fever subsided that night.

The next morning, the two little ones were still drowsy.

Qin Jian got up early.

It was already November, and the sky was still dark at six.

After washing up, he donned his workout gear and went to wake the kids.

“Chenyang, Chenguang, wake up for exercise with Dad.”

An Hao groggily opened her eyes, saw the soundly sleeping kids, and waved at Qin Jian, “They were definitely uncomfortable with the fever last night. Now that they’re finally asleep, let them rest a bit longer.”

“What’s this? Not following through on the plan we made just last night?” Qin Jian whispered as he kissed An Hao’s forehead.

“It’s too dark outside.” An Hao turned over, pulling the covers tightly, “I don’t even want to get up, let alone the kids.”

“That won’t do! The beginning is always tough, but it’ll get easier as we stick to it!”

Qin Jian stuck to his guns and roused the two little ones from their slumber.

Initially, they didn’t want to budge, but Qin Jian’s large hands pulled them out of their warm beds.

He took two minutes to dress them, and as he led them out of the house, their eyes remained shut.

Qin Jian knew he couldn’t be too softhearted; boys need to endure hardships and toughen up from a young age.

This wasn’t just about strengthening their bodies; it was also about honing their will.

So, in the vast playground.

Pairs of warriors chanted and ran long distance, engaging in exercise.

At the back of the warriors’ line, Qin Jian led the way, with the two little tykes closely tailing him.

Listening to his commands, clenching their tiny fists as they charged forward like little cannonballs.

By the end of the first day, the little ones were complaining of sore legs.

Zhang Yun was distressed, but try as she might, she couldn’t go against three people.

She could only watch as Qin Jian drilled the two little kids.

The only thing this granny could do was massage their little arms and legs at night.
