Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2006: Chapter 1999: Dispute

Teacher Liu looked at her expression and felt it didn’t seem like she was lying, secretly breathing a sigh of relief for her.

”Alright. Liu Jie, I still need to remind you, if you like him, make sure to hold onto him tightly. Getting married early is better, a woman’s youth can’t afford delays! You only have those few years of youth, miss it and it’ll be gone forever.”

”I know, Liu Jie.”

Teacher Liu had talked a lot with her, and seeing it was getting late, she said goodbye to her.

After Teacher Liu left, the smile on Yuan Yunong’s face gradually disappeared.

She turned around and went back to the preschool classroom, starting to pack her things to prepare to go back to her dormitory.

When An Hao returned, she heard that the two children were having fevers again, and felt extremely upset.

The four of them gathered around the two little ones, watching them as if they were afraid the children would fly away the moment they left.

The one most worried about the children recently was Grandma Zhang Yun.

”Let the little ones rest at home tomorrow,” Zhang Yun said, watching the children with fevers, feeling heartbroken.

”We’ll see how things go tomorrow. If they’re okay, they’ll go to kindergarten, if the children still have fevers, they’ll stay home.” Ning Yibin said.

”With this cold weather, it doesn’t matter if they go or not. Why do you have to go every day? They won’t learn much in kindergarten, in just two months they’ve been coughing and sick constantly!”

What Zhang Yun saw was the children being sick, and the sicker they got, the more cautious she became.

When it got slightly cold, she quickly added more clothes for the children.

When it got warm, she’d quickly reduce their clothes.

She felt she was extremely careful with the children, yet the two were still constantly getting sick.

”They’re grown up now. They must go to kindergarten! Everywhere has its own rules, and only by learning to follow these rules will it be beneficial for their future growth! Don’t keep letting the children rest at home, this isn’t loving them, it’s harming them!”

As the children grew up, Ning Yibin and Zhang Yun had different opinions on educating the kids.

”They’re only three years old! Three-year-old kids are supposed to run around freely! How can you keep them penned up in kindergarten all the time? I bet this sickness is from being cooped up too much!”

As soon as Zhang Yun finished speaking, Ning Yibin reprimanded in a low voice: ”What do you mean cooped up? Stop talking nonsense! The reason the children keep getting sick is because of your coddling!”

”What? Me coddling? How did I coddle them?” Zhang Yun didn’t like hearing Ning Yibin talk like this, ”Children being sick need careful care! When Ning Bo was around, I took care of him this way too! He was indeed much healthier than children raised carelessly!”

”How can it be the same? Ning Bo had heart issues back then, he couldn’t do intense activities or easily catch colds. But these two are different, they have healthy bodies, exercise will only make them stronger. Not like how you cover them up.”

Seeing the in-laws about to start arguing, An Hao quickly stopped them: ”Mom, Dad, please don’t argue. Everyone is only thinking about what’s best for the children, I understand you both have good intentions.”

”In this matter, I agree more with Dad’s viewpoint!” Qin Jian said, ”When I was little, I would often carry a basket up the mountains to chop wood, collect pig grass, and despite wearing thin clothing, I never got sick. So, children shouldn’t be pampered.”

”Do you also think this way, An Hao?” Zhang Yun saw the father and son united and quickly asked An Hao for her opinion.
