Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2044: Chapter 2037: The Little Bear Cub in Trouble

The principal was also alarmed and, after understanding the cause of the incident, told Teacher Liu and Yuan Yunong to write a review and that they had to handle this matter properly.

If they couldn’t handle it well, both of them should be prepared to resign and go home.

.....................

An Hao was at her workplace when she suddenly received a call from the kindergarten, saying the two kids had a fight with a child from the Political Commissar’s family and knocked out one of the child’s teeth.

Upon hearing this, An Hao hastily took leave and rushed back.

Her workplace’s affiliated hospital was far from home, so as soon as An Hao got the call, she hurried back. By the time she arrived at the kindergarten, it was nearly school dismissal time in the afternoon.

As soon as she arrived at the kindergarten, Teacher Liu took her to the teacher’s office.

Seeing the scene before her, An Hao was a bit stunned.

She saw her two children being held protectively by Yuan Yunong, their eyes red, lips quivering, tears brimming in their eyes but never falling.

Meanwhile, Yuan Yunong was blushing and arguing with Wang Xiaohu’s mother, Liao Ting. Both of their emotions were very intense, and it seemed like Liao Ting, with her eyes wide open, was ready to eat someone alive.

And then there was Wang Xiaohu, his chin wrapped in gauze, swollen lips unable to close properly, with a missing front tooth, looking quite miserable.

At this moment, he had long lost his usual swagger, now looking like a little lost bear cub in trouble.

”What... happened here?” An Hao walked in and asked.

Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang saw their mom and finally felt like they had found their place. They broke free from Yuan Yunong’s embrace and ran over to An Hao: ”Mom!”

The two children darted into An Hao’s arms like little rockets.

An Hao hugged both kids, softly comforting them: ”Be good, sweeties! Don’t be scared! Mommy’s here!”

At this moment, Wang Xiaohu’s mother saw An Hao had arrived. Her face was long, dark as if smeared with stove ash: ”How do you educate your kids? Look at how your two kids beat up my Xiaohu! Just look, one of our teeth has been knocked out! Two against one, is this how you parents teach your kids? Look at this quality! And you’re a doctor!”

Without inquiring about the cause, her own kids had made someone else’s child look pitiful, losing a tooth, which indeed was enough to feel sorry about.

”I’m really sorry, Xiaohu’s mom. It’s truly regrettable that my kids hurt Xiaohu like this! However, I just got here and haven’t yet clarified the specifics of the situation. Could I possibly ask for some time to find out what exactly happened?” An Hao spoke politely.

Living in the same military district compound, although she was usually busy with work and rarely listened to those gossips about the Zhang Family or the Xi Family, she did know about some particularly famous people in the compound.

Such as this person in front of her.

She was Wang Xiaohu’s mother, reportedly a departmental manager at a clothing company, managing over a hundred people, having absolute authority at her workplace.

Being tough at work was one thing, as she was a manager.

But she also strutted around the military district compound.

Her father-in-law was the Political Commissar of the Command, her husband was the Regiment Political Commissar, and her mother-in-law was the leader of the Art Troupe before retiring. This family background was indeed quite prestigious.

The women in this compound lived their lives no differently from people outside.
