Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1715: Chapter 1714: Live Ammunition on the Drill Ground

After speaking, he waved his hand and left with his people.

As Qin Jian continued to walk forward, just as he was about to reach the tank, a bullet suddenly flew by in front of him, grazing his cheek and igniting a burst of sparks on the tank with a clang.

”Live ammunition!” His brows furrowed, and his eyes turned grim.

”No way?” Commander Wu exclaimed in disbelief, ”Are they really playing like this? We’re all using blank rounds, where did they get live ammunition?!”

”Just now, it grazed my face.” After saying this, Qin Jian raised his hand to touch, and sure enough, he was bleeding.

”This means his marksmanship is quite precise. If it had been just half an inch off, I guess the bullet would have flown directly into my face,” Qin Jian said.

”Can it be? Is that falcon really that confident?” Commander Wu simply couldn’t believe it.

”This kid is way out of line.” Zhao Dong also came running over, hearing the two leaders discussing, he angrily said, ”Is this how the special forces operate? Not following the rules is one thing, but this is too much, isn’t it? This is live ammunition! In the dead of night, what if it kills someone?”

”Exactly! We should report this guy!”

”Right, report him!”

”I heard not only is this kid crazy, their leaders are too!”

”Then we have even more reason to report them.”

”Using live ammunition, isn’t that asking for trouble?”

”Okay, I agree.”

Commander Wu also felt indignant and hardly able to calm down, ”We must report such an incident!”

”Alright, since you’re okay, we’ll withdraw.” Qin Jian had other tasks to attend to.

”Wait a moment. Have a cigarette first, then do me a small favor!” Commander Wu said, ”We need to flip that tank back over.”

”Sure!” Qin Jian agreed.

In the dense forest, No. 4 and his group were lying flat on the ground, holding binoculars and closely observing the situation here.

By now, the PLA troops hadn’t noticed their presence, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

”Too dangerous.”

”Brother Four! Kill that bastard! He’s trying to send us straight to the muzzle of the gun,” said the man known as Six.

”Damn it!” No. 4 stood up and fiercely kicked the back of the tall man, ”Do you have any issues with me? Speak up. If you pull this kind of stunt again, we’ll all get killed.”

”No complaints.” The tall man got up, twisted the mud and water off himself, and with a cocked head said to Six, ”It’s been him provoking me all along! I’ve been with Brother Kun for so many years, I should rank before you in seniority! Why should I let a dog by your side bite me incessantly?”

”Who are you calling a dog?” As soon as Six heard this, he got irritated and stepped forward, tightly grabbing the tall man’s collar, ”Say it again, I dare you.”

”I’m calling you a dog! You! Just you!” The tall man repeated several times.

”I’ll kill you!”

And with that, Six exploded.

In an instant, the tall man and Six were caught up in a scuffle.

”Break them up, are you all tired of living?” No. 4 was incredibly frustrated.

A bunch of them were fighting back and forth.

The commotion grew louder and louder.

Qin Jian pricked up his ears, feeling a peculiar commotion coming from the woods.

”Did you guys hear that?” Qin Jian asked.

”Hear what?” Zhao Dong shook his head.

Commander Wu also shook his head.

”I feel like something is not right over there.” Qin Jian frowned, the situation just now had already put him on alert.

Even if the soldiers of the special forces were reckless, they definitely shouldn’t be using live ammunition on the exercise field, right?

If someone got killed, not to mention him, their leaders wouldn’t be able to escape the consequences.

So there must be another source for the live ammunition.

”I’m going to check it out over there,” Qin Jian said.
